I want to color a cell based upon finding a corresponding value from a table.
Ex: In Cell B3: If B4 Value is in the Scorecard Table Then B3 will be a certain color.
This is for highlighting critical fields.
The Table name is Scorecard and I also have a named range of Scorcard_Fields within the Scorecard Table that holds the Lookup Values.
I have a spreadsheet that uses VB macros to calculate sums of cells based on the font color of the numbers inside. It used to be fairly easy going through each cell and "classifying" them by color, so that my macros can go ahead and sum the numbers in each respective color's cell... but now I have a huge amount of numbers and would like to automate the process somewhat. Here's an example using the A and B columns:

hotel $130
meal $20
meal $15
flight $350
I tried using conditional formatting to automatically change the color of the adjacent cells based on the presence of a keyword such as "flight" or "hotel", but this change is only cosmetic, and doesn't actually change the font color (it is still the default black, hence why my color-summing macros won't work!).
I'm including a sample macro for what I use to color-sum my cells, but what I am looking to automate the color-coding process based on looking for keywords as explained above in my example. Here is one of the working color-summing macros (for red, in this case) if you'd like to use it as a reference:

Is there a way to create a macro to color code a cell based on the value in a cell, and then look up a value in a table, then color code it based on where it fits into the table?
I have a table of values for about 30 projects. In column g - there is a CPI value (see bold column)

I have to color code a cell, base on the CPI and how it fits into the table below. So if the current Milestone is M2 or M3 and the CPI calculated is .14 the cell would be colored RED, if the CPI number is 2.01 for M2-M3 I would want cell to be colored Turquiose. If we were at Milestone M6 and the CPI was 2.01, it would be colored blue. If the CPI was .75 at Milestone M5, it would be colored Green

In Sheet1 cells A1-BW46 (3450 cells), using 9 different colors to fill all the cells.
In Sheet3, starting in A2, I have a plain text list of 3450 cell ranges "A1", "A2", "A3" etc covering all 3450 cells in Sheet1.
I want to populate next to this list the interior color value of the corresponding cell. So in cell A2, I will have the text "A1", in cell B2 I would have either a numerical or text value giving me the color that A1 in sheet1 is filled with.
The script doesn't have to auto update, I will run manually when neededI don't need any manipulation, only the value of the color, and that can be hex, rgb.
I can't upload the actual sheet I'm working with, but if my description of the problem is lacking, I may be able to create a sample sheet to give the idea.
Summary of performance of various products against target is as follows,

I have got a userform with lots of controls,
One of the action's on a large group of the controls is the same but except for one number
here is an example

This makes a cell that correlates to the textbox red if the text in the textbox is red.
Now, I loads of these textboxes that all need to run the same code with just the Offset value one digit higher than the last and I was hoping I could create a loop to avoid a huge block of code but I can't work out how to make a constant that will +1 with each loop.
Also, can I assume that a loop will start with the control with the lowest number i.e. Textbox1 and then work its way through the rest of them in order?
This is probably elementary, but I'm struggling and would appreciate any help as I have very little excel VBA experience to draw from.
I have assembled code which changes the cell color based on a value change in Column A. Column A will contain many different groups of repeating values. This code works well and and I have been able to figure out how to limit the number of colors to only 2. The end result is each set of similar values in column A is visually grouped by one of two alternating colors.
The number rows in the data set is variable as the data set is extracted from SAP. The number of columns is fixed.
What I want to do now is set the cell color in columns B through F the same color that was assigned to the row in column A. So if cell A3 is set to colorindex = 6, then I want to set the range of cells B3 to E3 to the same color.

I have two columns. The first one (A) contains cells that have different Fill colors. The second column (B) contains text adjacent to the colored cells. I am trying to change the color of the text in the second column (B) to the corresponding color in the adjacent cell in the first column (A). I don't think conditional formating works well in this situation. I believe the solution would be some sort of macro.

I am looking for a very simple script that will achieve the following:
On the clicking of a button, Select and shade in a cell yellow, delete the yellow shading of the previous cell. The shading & selection should move up a column of cells, 1 at a time, in the following order:
From B10 to B9, then B9 to B8, B8 to B7 etc until the selection and shading is at B2. Once it is at B2 subsequent clicks will simply keep it at B2 (the top). Thus after 8 clicks the shading & selection should travel from B10 to B2, with only 1 cell being shaded yellow and selected at any one time.

I have a selection on a worksheet that has 4 consistent columns (A, B, C, and D) each with a variable number of rows all containing string type data. I do data entry for a driveway company. I get addresses and phone numbers, and then call the people to offer services. I keep track of my calls on the spreadsheet, color coded for my results, green for leads, yellow for voicemail/no answer, and red for not interested.
I have formulas in cells M2 through M8 to give me my overall stats for the calls I have made, it filters them by color for leads, missed calls, and rejections, and a couple other stats (mostly for my own curiosity)
What I'm trying to add is the cells L10 to M13, I want to be able to input a date, for instance 8/15, and have it run the same stats, just for that day essentially. So, I need it to search the last 2 columns in the table for the text that I input into cell M10, and then run the color based formula on those cells, and total them up in the appropriate cells, M11, M12, and M13.
The 2 Stats tables are the same at the moment in the sample, as I only included one particular street that I have mapped, my actual table is nearly 3000 rows.
Is it possible to have a marco that will look at the data in a cell/multiple cells and search a network drive for a folder named with the same data in a cell? For example, I used a marco to create a folder from the contents in cell A2. Can a macro be reversed in that if I have a spreadsheet with a list of data in A2,A3, A4 and so on, can it check a network drive to see if a folder has been created with the same data?

One of the columns in these worksheets is the 'Status' column (column F). There is conditional formatting on this column where if the text is 'G' then change background to a green color, 'Y'=yellow, 'R'=Red and 'U'=Grey.
The first worksheet is a summary sheet that I would like to pull information from each of the detail worksheet's columns B, D, E, G and H if the status column (Column F) is 'R' or 'Y'.
The number of rows in the detail worksheet can change each week (as few as 0 and as many as 100)
I have two columns. In column B is the date of "last check". I column A is the date of "next check". I would like to have cell A2 in yellow color 334 days after the date entered in cell A3 and than in red color 365 days after the date entered in cell A3. Same thing for cell B2 related to date entered in cell B3. Yellow color in cells announces that check will expire within 30 days and red color that check has been expired.

I am working on a workbook with 200+ sheets and an index linking to each of the sheets. I keep getting the runtime error '1004: application-defined error or object-defined error the thing is, i ran the cell background changing code in a normal macro before integrating it in my other worksheet code first and it worked fine. I have a little code experience, though not much in vba and I am unsure what the issue is. if there is another better way to accomplish what I'm tring to do, that would also be fine.

The code works perfectly, however, if I save the workbook with a different spreadsheet on top than the spreadsheet referred to in this code, I get an error message: Method 'Range' of object '_Worksheet' failed.
I should state that I did change "Private Sub Workbook_Open()" to "Private Sub Auto_Open()".
I assume I need to modify the code but am unsure as to how.
