I have 2 rows one with codes and another with numbers
At present I have , 11,12,13,14, and lines 13 have no code next to it then move 14 down to 13 and so on
Note there could be 2 numbers with no codes nest to it so the numbers may need to move down by 2

You will see about 10000 lines of which some have no codes next to them and these lines will be deleted .
Looking for a userform command button macro "CommandButton1" to initiate a deletion of rows. Essentially "Combobox1" is a list of "Text" rows in columnA (after row16). I want the command button to delete the "Text" row chosen in the combobox and all rows below it until the next "Text" row. After this I want all "Number" rows below the chosen "Text" row to be renumbered by subtracting "1.000". The sequence of order I guess doesn't really matter as long as the desired outcome is achieved (meaning if for vba purposes it is better to renumber all rows below the "Text" row chosen then delete the "Text" row and rows between next "Text" row that is perfectly fine).

Is it possible to get the position of checkboxes (in this case I only need row number), or automatically renumber all of them from top to bottom each time I start a macro execution? Of couse, I can set "Don't move or size with cells", but I think it would be better still to be able resize cells at any time, so that controls adjust to these changes...

I have a set of data in cells sequencially in every 3rd column. I would like to create a new rows where the data I have in columns are placed into rows in accordance with its catogory.
So all EUR are in one row sequencially over the colums and the same for USD & GBP. This way I can create a graph.

I'd like Excel to run a check to see if a row of numbers runs in sequence.
*As in row 4, the numbers dont have to incriment each time
*As in row 2, there may be gaps in the data
*As in row 6, the data cant increase and then decrease. Each subsequent number must be the same or high than the previous
*There could be varying amounts of numbers per row, hence the results being in column R
As an added bonus it'd be nice to see where an error occurs, but just knowing theres an error (column R) is the primary goal.
Basically I'm trying to look up a series of numbers against a separate row of numbers and look for a match regardless or number order.
For example
If you look at the above picture I'm trying to do a query of some sort that will look up the numbers in A8:G8 in then search each row in the above table ie look for the numbers in B1:J1, B2:J2,B3:J3 etc I need to be able to search each row and look for the sequence of numbers regardless of order, if there is or inst a match for all numbers it should look at the next row and so on (maybe multiple matches). If there is a match then it should display the Name located in column "A" into cell G8. In this example to Jarrad row contains the numbers located in A8:G8. If there is no match it should display "None".
I'm trying to find any easy way to do this as I have over 500 rows I'm trying to query. The number's in A8:G8 in this example could also be more or less, ie here I have included 6 numbers but this could be 3 or 9 etc.
I have 2 columns,
column A has a series of 8 digit numbers (some will match some will not) sorting in A-z order from lowest to highest value.
Column B is blank at the moment.
What I want
In column B i need to add numbers starting at 1 and moving down in sequence.
If more than one rows have the same number in column A they get the same numbe rin Column B
It's really a pain or have to hand type in the numbers and I can't figure out a easy way to do this.

I have two sheets, a data sheet with all our customers by ref, name and spend; and a presentation sheet.
In the presentation sheet I want to display the ref, name and spend of the Top 50 customers by spend, price high to low.
The workaround:
Copy all data from data sheet, sequence top down by spend, manually delete all after 50.
My only issue is that each month the data sheet will update and I want the Top 50 to auto update, without performing the workaround above.
Is there a way to do this without VBA i.e. pivot tables etc
I have data on 400 rows. Each row has a maximum of 10 cells with data, but many have empty cells with no data. I would like to sort each row to show values of cells in sequence and eliminate empty cells. I can use the sort row function but its a long process for 400 individual rows. Is there an easier way?

I am attaching a sample excel sheet showing what I need to do.In the first tab, I have a list that includes duplicate rows (first column only). I want to remove those duplicate rows but I don't want to lose the data in the following columns which can be unique or duplicates as well.

Keep in mind that the actual source file I am working with could have up to 50000 row, and the expected results could be around 2000 rows. So nothing can be done manually.
In my excel I'm copying rows upon specific criteria to another tab.
The question is how I can delete copied rows and update the original tab without empty rows? (N of rows is always changing)

However, where a person works on a particular project and task on the same day and records multiple entries (which could be negative) I need to consolidate the hours in all these matching rows and have just one row reflect the total hours worked and delete the other duplicate rows.
So an example would be:

My problem is I don't think I have approached this the right way but am unsure of where to go with it. The code as is does sort of work but I still get some duplicate and zero lines in my results.
I need a macro that can look at multiple (say three) rows and delete those rows if they match another three rows in the worksheet.
For example:

5 2
3 9

If three rows are the same, then one set is deleted (it can be either bottom or top set). I would like to do this for rows 1-500 in the worksheet.

Although it is working , it is not deleting all the blank rows at once, I have to keep pressing on the macro button running the macro several times, until all blank rows are completely deleted.
I have a worksheet in which I have sorted the data based in date and numbering (column I and E). I would like to create 2 macros for following actions:
1- all rows with the value "TOM" in column C will have to be deleted.

I have an imported report in a spreadsheet. It imports to three columns. I need to check each row in column A for three seperate criteria and delete the rows I don't need. I need to delete blank rows and check next row for page header info. Delete these and next rows to next blank cell. Check next row for page header and not delete if not page header. Several rows down will be a cell with 23 blank spaces before the word Reg: and sometimes other words past this but always this first. This row is to be kept. I looked at the FAQ's example of Deleting but I don't think it will work. I also need to put a key word in column A at a point where I want to stop. This report is a couple thousand rows long so a VBA procedure would really save time. I have a procedure I use to check for two zero's in two cells that hide these rows but I couldn't modify it to work on this report.

This sheet has A:K columns and 1:3212 rows. There are 'page headers' that are in the text file that I want to delete (the text file was exported from an AS400 program). The first row that starts the page header has SA341 in column 1. Each page header has 5 rows. I used this code from one of the other threads on deleting rows, but I obviously do not understand the code as it deleted all rows that contained SA341.

I am copying a price list from a worksheet. I currently have a script that deletes unwanted rows (products) but these products' header rows' are left. I also want to delete these text based headers. One solution might be a script that reads a columns cell value in the row(s) below and if values are missing the header row should be deleted.

I have a workbook where I import data from another workbook. This might get done several times a month. As I go through the imported data I delete rows not needed which gets place into another worksheet. What I need is when I import data again is a macro that the worksheet where my already deleted rows are and compairs them to the new data imported and if the first 13 columns of data matches it delest them off the imported sheet.

and posted the same question but haven't got any response as of yet.
So the code that i go works but only if the row matches in the exact order on both sheets so e.g. (if row 1 on sheet1 matches row 1 on sheet2) it works but if (row1 on sheet1 matches row 3 on sheet2) it does not.
