Find Out How Many Games Played By The Selected Team Had The First Goal Scored After A Certain Time

I currently have two columns one for each of the following formulas and then another column that's works on the result of the two together but what I want to know is how do I get the two combined?
=COUNTIFS('08-09 Scores'!$C:$C,$B6,'08-09 Scores'!$CB:$CB,">="&$AY$5,'08-09 Scores'!$CB:$CB,"<="&$AZ$5,'08-09 Scores'!$AT:$AT,">"&$BA$5)

I've put the bits that I want to be "or" in red, The first bits are obviously the same and just the last bit needs to be or.
I am basically trying to find out how many games played by the selected team had the first goal scored after a certain time(the first formula)
or the first goal was scored by the away team(the second formula)

I have selected numbers to play in the table shown above from cell G2:AD7 and celebrated draw result numbers are shown in cells A3:F7
Now, suppose I want to play the numbers, which are in cell G2:AD2 and the draw-celebrated numbers are shown in the cell A3:F3.
Now I want to check cells A3:F3 with G2:AD2 and want to know in which position are the celebrated draw matched with the numbers played.
In this case the result in AE2 will be 3; 22 that means only two numbers are matched with the played numbers. Those numbers are the number ‘6’ which is in the position 3 counting from G2 and number ‘48’ which is in the position 22 counting from G2 again.
The result must be shown in column AE for all the draws as shown in the table above.

I am wondering if there is a way to automatically update my pick 3 lottery files by using excel. I use lottostrategies.com to obtain my results. If anyone knows how I might start to instruct excel to perform such a task, please respond. Or if I am going about this the wrong way in as far as thinking excel can perform such a task.

I have a column that adds the total points for each Golfer at each Golf Course. (Column AI)
I've added another column that I want to add the total points for each Golfer from each Course played. (Column AJ)
How can this be done so that it adds each players total points for each Course Played? There could be more Courses as well.
Would I use a: (=IF(Course=Courses,Vlookup(Course,B2:B65536),35,False) with a Sum???

I put together about 10 separate macros that will log you into a site using the values in a given cell. I was having trouble with the last one because of AutoComplete remembering the username. So I put in an IF statement, and when I used F8 to go line for line, it works perfectly. However, when I click F5 and just let it play through, it doesn't log in. I tried adding a 5 second delay, but that didn't seem to work. I still get a run-time error when I hit play.

I have a spreadsheet that consists for 30 rows of groups of three checkboxes on each row. I want to have only one checkbox per row checked at a time. If the user checks one box while another it already checked then I want that checbox to be unchecked.
I want checkboxes to work like groups of option buttons. Actually, option buttons would be fine but with option buttons there is always one clicked but I need them all clear until the user clicks one. They will start off clear but if the user clicks one by mistake there is no way that I know of to clear it again. Checkboxes will clear again if you click it again so I thought I would use them.
how to have a group of three option buttons or checkboxes that will begin unchecked and be able to uncheck all three is one is checked in error,

I have up to 6 checkboxes on a work sheet but I only want one of them to be allowed to be checked at any given time. Is there a way to make sure this happens? As an example if the first check box is marked and then the user checks Checkbox4 checkbox1 would automatically be unmarked.

Attached is a workbook. I have manually highlighted the cells to give idea of what I would like the outcome to be.
Moonah OPS sheet.
In Row 5(Shift times), under the drop down menu in cells B5:J5, there is a range of Shift times.
And for the purpose of this I have selected
B5 as 0800:1621, manually highlighted B11:B27
C5 as 06:00, manually highlighted C7:C24
D5 as 07:00:1521, manually highlighted B11:B27
E5:I55(RDO, REC, SICK, Travel) can remain as manual input if it is to much to work out.
Is it possible or just a pipe dream, to use some method to automatically highlight a range of cells based on the C5:J5 'time'?
If the time is an actual shift time, the colour will be green and dark green writing as default, then we can allocate jobs/training/meetings and manually colour them.

time variation between 2 dates including time (Exclude weekends and holidays), but include the worked time of weekend, if the end date and time falls under weekend or holiday.
Eg., A issues reported on 01Jan2014 12:00:00 PM and Resolved on 11Jan2014 12:00:00 PM
There are 3 weekends in the above mentinoned date - 5th, 6th and 11th
I can eliminate the weekends using the networkdays formula, but however in this case I need to eliminate 04th and 5th Jan (weekends), but Consider 12 hours from 11Jan2014(which is also a weekend), as the issue got resolved on Saturday afternoon, assuming for critical cases team works irrespective of holidays.

I have a worksheet with lots of data on it, resulting in a very busy layout. I have been using "FIND" to search for various numbers within the spreadsheet, however often times it is hard to see which cell "FIND" selects.
Is there a way to enable Excel to highlight the selected cell? For example could "Find" turn the cell yellow when it finds a match?

I am an Excel 2007 user.
I have a formula (below) that looks only at records based on specific filtering criteria or conditions; one of those conditions is the month of the year: ('Data Dump'!$Q:$Q,Summary!$A$26). This portion of the formula would change as a month is selected.
Opposed to having to rewrite the formula every time that I want to view a specific month, I want to automate the formula to change the first condition when a user selects a month from Column A. This would be a real time, automatic refiltering and recalculation as the user selects different months from Column A
Current Formula that filters and shows only January records.

Trying to automate Goal Seek using variables for the three arguments. It's working when I define the cells references & values within the code, but cannot figure out how using variables. I'm sure the example below is incorrect, but will give an idea what I need to accomplish:

I want to set the value of the following equation 'left term - right term' to 0 by changing variable 'sigma max' Everything is done on the userform and not in the spreadsheet.
(Note: In spreadsheet format, the above query is equivalent to setting a cell which has a formula to 0 by changing the value in another cell, fairly simple).

Say employee John Doe has a salary X. Giving him a salary raise Y (euro/dollar) induces a pension premium to be paid by the employer, on that amount.
The premium is (fixed) 17% of the part above a (fixed) treshold value of 3.750. On the part of the raise below the 3.750, the pension premium is (fixed) 4,35%.
E.g. having a salary of 3.600, with a raise of 400.
4,35% of (3.750 - 3.600 = 150) equals 6,525
And 17% of the remaining 250 equals 42,500
So the total premium is 49,025
But, I want to give a raise with a total cost of no more than 400. So, I use goal seek to find a raise that, together with te pension premiums equals 400.
In the example, with 3.600 as a salary to start with, that raise would be 358,10 Because the part below 3.750 stays the same and induces a premium of 4,35% of 150, being 6,525 and the remaining part is 208,10 at 17% is 35,377.
Proof: 358,10 + 6,525 + 35,377 = 400
The question is: is there a possibility to have a formula that calculates the (e.g.) 358,10 based on a salary to start with (e.g. 3.600), an aimed total cost (e.g. 400) and the fixed constants 3.750, 17% and 4,35%?

I'm trying to understand how complex numbers are handled/processed in Excel.
As related to my application, an interesting exercise would be to use Goal Seek w/s command to find the roots of the equation:
X^2 + 4 = 0
setting the (rounded) value in cell A2 to 0 by changing A1
A1:: 1+i
A2:: =COMPLEX(ROUND(IMREAL(IMSUM(IMPOWER(A1,2),4)),6),
ROUND(IMAGINARY(IMSUM(IMPOWER(A1,2),4)),6))
Obviously a conventional or direct use of Goal Seek wouldn't work since Excel treats complex numbers as text.
Perhaps, one should use Goal Seek twice in this case:
first: find the coefficient "a" for IMREAL(A2) = 0
second: find the coefficient "b" for IMAGINARY(A2) = 0
and the root would be "a+bi".

I've been playing around with GoalSeek in VBA because of this thread and found something about the syntax that I don't understand.
If I want to find out whether GoalSeek worked, I can use
Ok = Range("B1").GoalSeek(Goal:=10, ChangingCell:=Range("A1"))
Debug.Print Ok
This requires parentheses around the GoalSeek arguments.
If I just want to do the GoalSeek, then I need
Range("B1").GoalSeek Goal:=10, ChangingCell:=Range("A1")
with no parentheses. Why? The Help says that GoalSeek returns True if it works, and the proforma syntax includes parentheses, but then the only example uses the syntax without parentheses.

Is there a way to "copy" Goal Seek acroos multiple rows?
I have used Goal Seek in the first row. However this spreadsheet is several
hundred lines long and using it like this is not practical.
I want to seek a goal value of 30% on the cell that I called “c”, and I want the result of the goal seek to be put in the cell situated on the same row, 6 columns before.
This is the code that I tried to write, registering and saving the “goal seek” operation for one row.

I have created the following in an effort to automatically goal seek whenever changes are made to the cell C2.

As far as I know, the Macro is running all of the time? When I use goal seek manually it works fine. Assuming the above is running, when I change the value in C2 nothing happens. Does the fact that I have a three sheet workbook make any difference? I am sort of lost. By changing the value in C2 I want Excel to change the value in D19 to match C2 by adjusting D3.
