Excel 2007 :: Sheet Tabs At The Bottom Of Screen No Longer There

I am using Excel 2007. When I pulled up a workbook today with 3 sheets in it, all that comes up is the first sheet and the sheet tabs at the bottom of the screen are no longer there. I must have accidentlly pushed some button, but I can't get to the other sheets. I really need the information on the other sheets. How do I restore the view that shows the sheet numbers at the bottom?

So we created a workbook that has lots of worksheets inside it. The problem is due to the high number of worksheets there are alot of tabs along the bottom. Many of the tabs are hidden behind the scroll bar. Is it possible to have 2 rows of tabs at the bottom of the screen?

I am using the following codes to hide the menu, formula bar and the headings. One more thing I need to do but do not know how - hiding the tabs at the bottom of the sheet. The idea is not to let users to right click and unhide other sheets.

Excel 2010 :: How To Move Comment Box To Left Side Of A Cell

I have an excel spread sheet and on the last column on the right hand side I have some comment boxes but when I hover over them they pop up to the right of the cell, and then they are off the screen.

Can I alter it to make the comment box pop up to the left side of the cell.

Is it possible to adapt this code to get me the desired results or will it have to be a separate one.

Also i'm not sure if I have the code right because if I run the macro then open a comment box in the (M) column as in the code the comment box is the default size then if I run the macro again once I have the little red tick in the corner of the it changes to what the code says.

Move Pivot Table Total To Left Hand Side

Need a way to switch the default positioning of pivot table row totals? I would like to left justify them insead of always having the totals on the far right side where they are often out of view to the user without scrolling. I end up having to place 2 pivot tables side by side so that I can make the totals appear first.

Quick way of inserting the same rows into the bottom row of different tabs, the difficultly comes as the bottom row of the other tabs varies. I.e tab 2 the bottom row is row 87, tab 3 the bottom row is 53 etc.

I need to compare and show the changes to the record from previous version and generate a report which will highlight the changes (Rather than just saying that record has changed It should tell what has changed)

For example if the

Column 1 (Previous Version) :The structure contains Wire, Bolt, Stmaps etc

Column 2 (Current Version) : The structure contains Wire, Bolt, Stamps etc

Data Changed: YES

In report is should show two columns side by side and in Column 2 it should highlight "Stamps"

Is there a way to have separate Report Filters for each column in a pivot table?

I am trying to create a pivot table with 3 columns - 1: account code 2.current year (2011) 3. prior year (2010)

My Row Label is an account code field - each row is a different account code that sums up dollar amounts for the two financial years. The problem is that I need Columns 2 and 3 to have separate Report Filter criteria. So in Column 2 - I need the filter to weed out anything that is not 'Financial Year 2011'. In Column 3, I need the filter to weed out anything that is not 'Financial Year 2010'. Setting up a filter for one screws up the second, and vice versa.

Alternatively, how can I make two side-side-pivot tables that each have their own Report Filters?

Two Sheets That Need To Have Unique Partial Matches Aligned Side By Side

I have two sheets that need to have unique partial matches aligned side by side. My first sheet is my database. The righter most column of this sheet contains a unique combination of letters and numbers.

My second sheet contains a single column which I export each month from our CMS and is a list of URLs. Within each of these URLs appears the unique set of letters and numbers from sheet 1 (and only appears once).

There are about thrice as many URLs in sheet 2 as there are entries in my sheet 1 database.

Ideally, I would like the URL from sheet 2 that contains the unique combination from sheet 1 to be pasted in the cell immediately to the right of the given unique combination.

However, I will settle for a list of trues and falses next to the URLs in sheet two that I can erase the falses, sort and paste next to the sorted list from sheet 1.

Find And Match: Delete Any Row On The Old Side That Is Not Contained On The New Side

i have 2 excel worksheets. One of them contains over 20,000 rows of entries (old side) and the other contains about 900 rows of entries (new side). Both contain the same 9 column headings. I've shortened the list in my workbook example.

What i need to do is excel to delete any row on the old side that is not contained on the new side. I don't need the rows to match fully but the column A's (Doc number) are what i want it to check against. I've included a summarised version of the database and the old and new are separated by a heavy blue line. Need to be left with the same rows on either side of that blue line at the end.

I'm working my way through a list of companies on an excel spreadsheet and making some notes.

After i've spoken to them its a simple keep them on the sheet in the current position or highlight the row red and move to the bottom or when they become a customer highlight green and move to the bottom.

I have a coloumn called customer (J) is it possible if i put a Y in that cell to make the row green and move to the bottom and also if i put a N in the column make the row green and move to bottom.

Move X-axis To Bottom Of Chart From Top

I have made a chart in Excel to show the half life of cells for a science project so it basically has days along the horizontal axis and percentage on a logarithmic vertical axis. However, the horizontal axis always appears at the top of the chart when I use a vertical log scale (if i dont use logs then its at the bottom where it should be). Is there any way i can move it to the bottom? i've tried everything i could think of under "format axis".

Conditional Formatting From Cells Side-by-side

I'm trying to figure out how some conditional formating and I cant get it to work.

What I want is for column H to be highlighted based on the value of column I.
So... If I2<721, then H2 will highlight green. If I2 is between 721&780, then H2 will be highlighted yellow. And if I2>780, then H2 will be red.

I know how to do it one cell at a time, but I need it to apply to the entire column based on the cell next to it.
Also, I dont have access to visual basic.

Move Shape Across Screen

I'm trying to write some VB to draw a line shape and then move it across the screen. I have managed to draw the line and have used the following code to move it:

Set linetest = ActiveSheet.Shapes(1)
For iCount=1 To 100
linetest.Left = linetest.Left + 1
linetest.Top = linetest.Top + 1

i) I can only actually see the line move if I run the code using the debugger and step through the loop. If I just run the code then I only see the end position of the line (note, this is not an issue with the calculation being too fast for Excel to display the line. I tried the code with a delay loop in it and it made no difference). I can get it to work by calculating the active sheet for each iteration of the loop, but this means I have no control over the speed of the movement; incidentally it moves very slowly).

ii) This seems a poor way to move the line. Is there anyway to move the start and end node of the line rather than using the left, top, width and height properties (i.e. can I get the old coordinates of the points and set them to different numbers)?

Minimized Window Halfway Off Screen - Can't Move Back Down

Somehow I dragged a minimized window in Excel so that the top bar (where you click to drag) is hidden off the screen and now I can't drag it back down.

I can maximize the window through a right mouse click on the task bar.

Alt Space does not enable the "move" function.

I have restarted excel, closed it through the "X" and through the task bar. I have rebooted. I have renamed my file.

I am trying to create a worksheet that you fill in data on the master tab, and it copies to the appropriate secondary tab based on set of criteria

I have one worksheet with multiple tabs.

Tab 1 - Master
- This tab is updated by admin with new contacts
Tab 2 - Customer service rep 1
- This tab will have all the listings that have the CSR1 in a column in the master table.
Tab 3 - Customer Service rep 2
- This tab will have all the listings that have the CSR2 in a column in the master table.

Each table has the same columns of data which all need to be copied to the sub tables if the CSR column matches.

Is there a formula that would work to auto copy data from the master to the appropriate sub tab or maybe its needs to be done in VB?

Shortcut To Bottom Of Sheet

I am looking for a shortcut key or some fast way of getting to the last line of information on a excel spreadsheet.

I currently have order spreadsheets with over 10000 lines used and everyday I need to add more lines and if I have used the Shift+F to locate an old order then I can be say sat on line 40 but my last inputted text could be on line 7000 and I would like to know how I can get to that line without knowing the line number.

The shortcut must take me to the last text entered cell not the last cell on the worksheet.
