Combine Cell Entries Based On Criteria

I need to first merge cell entries of column 2 if cell entries of column 1 are the same; following columns always retain their corresponding first row (see cells highlighted in yellow in attachment).

Basically I've made this up myself because what ill be working with has 100s if not 1000s of rows with many different product numbers that's quantities are different. What I've been able to do up to now is sort the spreadsheet by the product number so all the same rows are next to each other. My problem is however I need a speedy way of making these duplicate rows become one but add the total quantity basically everything in the left screenshot into the one on the right. What I've tried up to now is sorting them so there together and manually adding them up and putting them into one of the rows quantity, then delete the rest. takes to long. Another was to make a row underneath the rows I need into one but that takes more time than manually adding and deleting the rest.

I have so data I am trying to combine based on count value of investment on Col A. If it appears more than once on col A then I want the col B values on col D. I have macro that works but I need make sure if Col B have any TRAC and TRL1 then I want to add that on Col D. For example so Col D1 would be EURX, TRL1 at 83.50, FTID and Col D5 would be TRAC at 87.88, Markit. Below is the macro.

I am currently using the above formula and need to make an addition to it.
If D8 is greater than 9000 and less than 9999 then the entry will be 35 rather than 30. Any other entry in D8 would leave it at 30

The 'gist' of what I need is for events scheduled (top of spreadsheet), no school can be placed into an event within 29 minutes (because one-half hour apart IS ok). The time increments are on the left side of the spreadsheet (rows). I'm trying to "automate" somehow so that if we try to plug a school into an event too soon from their last event, the spreadsheet won't allow it.

I need a way to find a value in a column which has one or more corresponding values in an adjacent column. Then take all of the corresponding values found and count all occurrences of the found values in another column. But I only want to count the entries if an adjacent column is not blank.
Not the easiest thing to describe. Starting to wonder if I need to think in reverse. I hope the attached example makes more sense.

I have been searching a bit in a lot of the already posted threads but without any luck on my problem.
Normaly in excel you always want to count how many entries for a certain criteria.
Now I just want to know how many different entries for a certain criteria.
Example:
in column A1:A10 I have the value "S" -> group
in column B1:B4 I have the value "40" -> material number
in column B5:B8 I have the value "60" -> material number
in column B9:B10 I have the value "70" -> material number
....
....
etc.
So for the group "S" it is listet with total 3 different "material number" (40,60,70)
So my result should be = 3
how should the formula be on counting for the group "S" how many different values are in a defined area (e.g. B1:B10)

Is there any way to combine all the following calculations? Using the first as an example - If the word Resigned does not appear in P28 and if S28 = Q then the sum is 6 - 6*O28
=SUMPRODUCT((P28<>"Resigned")*(S28="Q")*(6)-(6*O28))

I have a spreadsheet with columns A:AH. I need to be able to retrieve the last 50 entries based on a number from column M (Area). For example, I need a message box asking me what Area I want. (The choices are 1 to 7). When I select the Area number I need to retrieve columns G:J for the last 50 entries for that Area. In selecting the entries, it needs to ignore any rows where there is either a blank cell or a period in column I. This is a dynamis spreadsheet with rows added almost daily.

I have a spreadsheet that contains two input tables: Parallel and Perpendicular. Next, the user can select a group which a certain entry belongs to. Now what I want is a "summary" of these entries in a table that has no blank rows and combines both Parallel and Perpendicular entries by the Group. Please note that there is no fixed number of inputs for any one group i-e the solution has to be dynamic.The groups are numbered from 1 to 6 and number of groups is fixed i-e 6.

Count unique entries in a column according to two specified criteria.Specifically, I am trying to count the number of days in a month a supplier has a visited.Below is an example taken from the excel:
COLUMN A COLUMN B
Date Supplier
01-ago-12 Mr X
01-ago-12 Mr X
01-ago-12 Mr X
I want a formula that allows me to see how different dates Mr X has visited in each month. So in August he has visited 8 times BUT only on 5 different dates.
In the case of Mr Y I want the formula to give the answer 5 (even though he has visited 6 times in total, he has visited on only 5 different dates).
In the case of Mr X in September, the answer to the formula would be 2, since has visited on 2 different dates in September.

I need to generate a report that indicates how long it took a vendor to respond, and indicate if the time was less than 2 hours.
I'm having trouble with a formula that will indicate how long it took for the vendor to respond during business hours (8-5 monday through friday). I can easily calculate the total elapsed time, but I'm at a loss on how to account for the after hours time period.
Would this be better handled with VBA?

Every other line is the planned production and the others are filled in after as the actual production
I have a sumproduct formula right now that looks if the line is considered planned production and then if there is a number greater than 0 planned on that day. The idea is to tell me the number of Stations scheduled to run that day.
Here is my problem- if a station is running two different products it gets counted twice.
I am trying to find a way that once a station is counted it only gets counted once even though they are on seperate lines.

I have a worksheet called 'Letters' with data stretching from A2:W5000. I need a Listbox that will display only those entries that fit the following criteria;
Columns A and O have data in them, Column V does not. The other columns can be disregarded for the purposes of this project. Additionally, is it possible for the Listbox entry to show any formatting that appears on the sheet? What I mean is, I have a conditional formatting set up on the sheet to show any duplicate entries, for example if the entry appears twice the cell fill colour is yellow - I need that to be shown in the Listbox too if it is possible.

I have been working with personal record data in multiple workbooks, using sumif, index, vlookup etc to show various required info.
What I now need to do is take all the records of people aged between 16-18 and list this in a new worksheet.
I can get all the records I need in a pivot table but it needs to be something I can add columns to in order to gather further info.

I have made this simple example, I have a Table called Awards, with Headings for DATE, QTR, Company, Awarded, on one worksheet, that I need to feed the data into a summary on another worksheet. And it worked perfectly, but now i wanted to use it in an other file but just change the sheets and I keep getting an Error 13.
It should copy the data from sheet insertmeasurements c23 till end of data in the column next to it (is dynamic) and based on cell B1 and the matching category code in column B, put that data in the matching cell in column C to the matching cell (based on the criteria in column B and C) on the sheet storedata.

I've sent out a survey asking people to sign up for one of two groups, A or B. I have a table with a long string of responses, with the name in column A, and in columns B or C there is an X that shows whether they have chosen Group A (column B) or Group B (column C)
I am trying to write a bit of code where it would paste the names into a new table with the headers Group A and Group B. Here is what I have pieced together so far:

I need to create a formula that counts up the number of times a specific word is put into a cell lets say 'Carpet' only when another cell is left blank.
Count the number of times between C1:10 the word 'Carpet' is input only when D1:10 is left BLANK?
If looked into DCOUNTA formulas and SUMPRODUCT formulas but seem to be clutching at straws.
My problem seems to be at referring the formula to the BLANK cell?

In my country, students are penalized when they fail Mathematics subject. That is when a student gets "F" in Maths. The penalty is only for those scoring Division I and II. The divisions change into Division III for those penalized but points remain the same. For example if a student ie Juma gets Division I of points 17 and he fails Maths, he should be penalized and get Division III of points 17. NB: Those who score Division III,IV and 0 are not penalized even though they fail maths.

I'm trying to write a macro that clears the cell in the range V10:X14 if the value of that cell equals 99.

I have a range of cells containing text values in BS15:DS50000.
What I want to do is look at each cell in the range BS15:DS50000 and if the cell contains the "" character, then populate text from column BH (if any) as a cell note.
For example, if cell DB42 contains the "" character somewhere within its text, then populate the text in BH42 as a cell note within DB42.
If BH42 is blank, then no cell note. (Also, if DB42 does NOT contain a "", then no cell note either.)

I have a series of data that I am trying to process based on various criteria and though this site I have solved most of the (simple) problems I had. I have one last problem to solve.
I need to add the previous cell to the next one based on a cell value in a different column.
Example: I want to add F2 to F3 if H3=3 but I need it to work so that if H4=3 it will add F3 to F4 and F3 now equal the new value i.e. (F2+F3). If H5 doesn't = 3 then F5=F5. I need the output to be a value not just an equation as I plan on going back and deleting all rows with H=3 in them.
P.S. I don't mind if the output of the calculation of the F column is to a new column or overwrites F. Overwriting would be easier for when I go back through and delete rows based on H=3.

I want to parse a cell if a date is present for example I have 03/26/1985 AL in one cell and want to parse to two different cells however in between those cells I have other cells with different data that I dont want to parse. Basically I need to parse the cells only if a date is present.
