If I want to just copy row 3 to row 4, why does the following copy the data fine, but not paste and give error "Object does not support this property or method"?

I want to run a macro that looks thru column F of all my worksheets (in my entire workbook).
If it finds an x then I want it to copy that entire row and paste it into a worksheet called "old" or a new worksheet or a new document in word (it doesn't matter - just whatever is easiest for my little brain to understand).
I should end up with about 40 rows of data in the new sheet.
(I have some code that looks thru it all and colors the cell blue but I just don't know how to get it to copy and paste the entire row into a new worksheet.)
I need a code that will search column A over multiple sheets for a user specified value through an input box. I then need this code to copy and paste the entire row to a new workbook titled "Batch Report" Anyone have any ideas? I have a code that will copy and paste only a few rows but no where near all of them, and I cant figure out why.

I have a number of populated templates that need to be copied into a master document, both formatted and laid out the same. However, I have some instances where the templates have been fiddled around with so the formulas have been corrupted. So, I'd like to pick up the raw data without the corrupted equations.

I can't figure out how to find the lines that have the word Summary in them and copy all the values in that line to another sheet. I've made a mock up of my data. This works great except that it pastes formulas. I would like to paste values only. I've tried
" PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks _ :=False, Transpose:=False" and it gives me an error.
I'm using 2003.
1. Copy cells B5 to V-First blank row in Strength Tests worksheet
2. Paste cells into Racks worksheet in cell C5
3. Change font size to 6
4. Sort by Column T descending then by Column C ascending
5. Copy one row (A5-W5 (1Rx23C)) from Racks worksheet
6. Paste row into M1 worksheet in cell D4
7. Print M1
8. Drop down one row on the Racks worksheet
9. Repeat steps 5-8 until there's a blank row.
I need a formula that finds each instance in shee1 column "L" where the row contains the text "1st" in them. If that criteria is met then the entire row from sheet1 is pasted into sheet2. I would like the rows pasted in order of appearance.
Example:
"L52" in sheet1 contains the text "1st" so the entire row 52 from column [A to COX] would be entered in sheet2 in A3 and the next instance where "1st" appears would be entered in in sheet2 in A4.

I recored a macro to Cut the entire "E" column and paste on "A". For some reason when i read the code it doesnt capture the part where it needs to paste it in column "A".
View 1 Replies View RelatedI need the macro to look at cells B9:B84 on the Sheet1 tab of the Cost Template. If it finds an x I need it to copy the 3 cells to the right of the x and paste them in a template. For example if it sees an x in cell B9 it would copy cells C9, D9 and E9, open the Purchase Order to the Detail tab, then paste it to cells B3, C3 and D3. It would continue looking for an x down to B84. So if it found 5 cells with x, it would give me 5 instances of the Purchase Order with 3 cells pasted into each.
I've attached my Cost Template and the Purchase Order it needs to copy to. In the Cost Template is a macro called Create_PO. This is what I was trying to alter to make this happen. I can't seem to get it right! FYI in case it matters, I had to change the Cost Template from .xltm to .xlsm in order to upload it on this site.
I have got a vacancy tracker spreadsheet and I need it to move an entire row from the 'Open' to the 'Closed' sheet based on the status in column K, i.e. 'Closed +', 'Closed -', and 'Closed + Achieve'. Once this has been done I want it to delete the entire row in the 'Open' sheet. At the moment it just cuts the entire row and then it is left blank and when I delete it manually the macro stops working completely.
Also I can only get it to move 'Closed +' and 'Closed -' and seem not to be able to add a command to move 'Closed + Achieve' rows.

My macro's function is to paste the workdays of an entire month in a specific row of a worksheet. Everything seems to work except using a number to reference the column in which to store the values. I've searched the web for over an hour and found two "solutions":
1. write a function to convert column number to a letter
2. utilize Cells object
#2 seemed more efficient but the function is giving me the error: "Runtime Error: '1004': Method of 'Range' of object "_Worksheet' Failed"
I am trying to do, is paste a word in front of text that is already residing in cell throughout an entire column, and then automate this process by creating a macro that will do the same thing for me throughout an entire column. To best explain this, it woudl be like if you have a column 100 rows/cells long, and every cell already contains data. I need to insert something in front of what lies within each cell.

I have looked through the forum at several different copy and Vlookup examples, but I can’t seem to get them to work. I need to compare worksheet(1) (“Portfollio”) in column “B” against Worksheet(2) (“PJS Cap”) column “B” to find any items that the worksheet(2) has that Worksheet(1) does not. I would like to implement specific cell ranges from two specific worksheets each within 33 workbooks (which all have several tabs) into a summary page in a separate workbook.
The cell ranges are going across my spreadsheet in rows and I would like for them to transpose into a columns depending on the data which I have separated by catergory on the summary page. They are all on the same location in each workbook which is separated by country. The cell ranges are E26:P37 and I would like to transpose them and have them put below eachother without overwriting for my format on the summary page, how I can put this together in a macro?

On the "Complete Backlog" tab of my workbook, I want users to enter in the requested information based on the column header. Then I would like a Macro attached to a button that says "Refresh" that the user would click after they have entered in all of the information. This macro should look in Column M (WIP Status) and if any of the cells say "Close", it should Cut the entire row from the spreadsheet(Ex. A2:M2) and Paste it into the speadsheet titled "Closed Jobs".
This is so that as jobs are closed/finished, they are removed and stored on a separate sheet. The items would have to be pasted so that it pastes into the next available row - not just on top of each other.
I also need another macro that i can put into a button that doesn't "delete" a row from the sheet, but just copies over to another sheet - so that there are two instances in the workbook.
If would look something like: If a cell in "Column G / Director" of the "Complete Backlog" speadsheet is equal to "Snodgress" then copy columns A-L of the same row to the spreadsheet titled "Snodgress" - of course skipping down the rows to the next blank row.
.....is equal to "Herr" copy row to "Herr" spreadsheet.
....is equal to "McCormick" copy row to "McCormick" spreadsheet.
and so on.

I now need to modify it so that it only copies columns C through G of the row ... not the entire row. how to modify this section of the code?

I want the user to be able to run a macro (?) and copy the entire worksheet and then insert it to the right of all the worksheets as many times as needed.

I've tried with other VBA scripts provided, but was not success with the same.
I have below macro button code, when i click on any row and enter button, entire row gets copied and paste in other sheet. So I have an option on my userform that the user input selected.
I need the data once written to the worksheet [Master] to move based on cell AD [Customer Divert / TBP Divert / Failed Delivery]
Example: Row 12 has Customer Divert in cell AD I need to keep a copy on the master sheet but also copy the entire row to the customer divert sheet.
Need code and here to input in the Code sheet?
