Date Fields Increase Date By Numbers Of Years Based On Lookup Table?

In column A, I have dates; In column b i have security levels. I have made a table called "Security" it contains to columns, a list of security levels and no of years when each security level is required to be reviewed. the table is setup -
d1 e1
Restricted 5
etc
Example of data
ie.
a1 b1 c1
Restricted 1/06/2012 1/06/2017
What I am looking for is a formula to look up a1 "restricted". then lookup the security table and find "restricted" its value is 5 (years) then add the 5 years to date in b1, but place it in c1.

Right now, in a column I would like to display an number (length of employment) based on the hire date.
In one cell the employee's hire date is entered. In a column of other cells the pay period ending date is displayed and in another column the length of employment is displayed.
Example:
03/17/2000
03/01/2009 8
03/15/2009 8
03/29/2009 9
04/12/2009 9
04/26/2009 9
How would I create a formula in the length of employment cells that would indicate the correct number of years based on the hire date and adjusts when the pay period date passes this hire date?

I have an 'existing results table' as per my attached sample.
I have had help previously from this forum to create lists of 'sold' stock within date ranges (tax year periods) and these are represented as 'sold list' in my attached sample.
I now need to create a list of 'unsold stock' for each annual tax year end date; i.e. populate my table with items that have been created before the end of the date range and that have not been sold by the end of the date range.
Please can someone show me the formula on my attached sample?
Please see my example in red.
I am working with Excel07 however my attached sample is in Excel03 because I couldn't upload an XLSX file.

I am currently working on a workbook to have employees fill in data on what tasks they compelted for the day, and how long it took. There are 5 colums (for this purpose) Task, Description, Time, Required to complete, Completed. The tasks are predefined and listed out in each row. There is also a space for employees to select the date they are entering the data for.
I would like to have a macro that is linked to a submit button and when pressed populates this data into a database on another sheet. This database is split into two sheets (1 with time and one with tasks required/compelted). Each sheet has the list of tasks going down a cloum on the left, and dates along a row on the top. When the employee presses submit I would like this data to popuplate in the coresponding date and task fields and then reset the form on sheet 1 to all 0's.

I have data going in to a small table which has some empty rows as that data is not yet available... My problem is, I need to sort this table in date order but with the date nearest to today's date at the top...
The sort function puts oldest at the top or oldest at the bottom which is no good for what I need...
I use xl 2003.

I have a table with dates and currency-rates. There is only one currency rate per month, but the day can be different since the date is the last working day of the month. I want to lookup these rates based on a date where the day can be any day in the month. Any proposals?
Table example:

I have created a workbook that contains a summary worksheet as well as a lookup page. On the summary worksheet, I have a cell that states the current balance for a series of investments that are listed by date in the lookup worksheet.
I need to create a formula that references the balance that is listed under the most recent period. For example, I have investment balances from January to May, and I need to have the May balance appear as the current balance, until next period, when the June balance should appear, etc.

I'm trying to workout how to take a known initial date a repeating frequency and work out the next due date from today.
Example
Initial Date :- 1st of January 2014
Frequency :- every 5 weeks
Current Date :- 9th of March 2014
Next Due date should be :-12th of March 2014 (if I worked it out correctly from my paper calendar)
I want to use a cell formula to do this for different initial dates and varying frequency periods (the frequency will always be whole weeks i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,8,10)

I have a worksheet with stock names across row 1, then repeated columns of <Stock Price>, <Price to Book>, etc.
< Date> <Stock 1> <Stock 1> <Stock 1> <Stock 2> <Stock 2> <Stock 2> etc.
<Date> < Price > <P to B> <Assets> < Price > <P to B> <Assets> etc.

What I want to be able to do is match the column data (for example, Stock 1 and Price column) using the index function, then match it to the specific date, so I know the price of the X stock on Y date.
If I were doing this for a single stock (where C1 holds the date, B1 holds the Column Title), the formula would be like this:
=INDEX(Data!$A$1:$IR$1067, MATCH(C1,Data!$A$1:$A$1066,), MATCH(B1,Data!$A$2:$IR$2,))
However, how do I add this additional matching variable of Stock Name?
Alternatively, if there is a more efficient layout, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Also, I know I could create stock-specific column titles (e.g. Stock1Price), but I'm going to be inputting this data into STATA, so this format is more conducive.

I'm trying to link three cells lets call them C7, E7, and G7 to an NBA schedule. I'd like to have C7 Display the visiting team, E7 to display the date, and G7 to display the time of the game. Ideally I'd like these cells to change after the date of the previous game has passed to the next game. Is this possible? Would I need to create a separate sheet with the Visiting team, date of game, and tiem of game?

I have two dates in A1 and B1. Eg 24/Oct/06 in A1 and 27/Oct/06 in B1.
Can the range of these two dates be updated to Cell A10, followed by the next row.
Eg,
Cell A10 24/Oct/06
Cell A11 25/Oct/06
Cell A12 26/Oct/06
Cell A13 27/Oct/06
Because the two dates in A1 and B1 are updated by user, the range is not fixed. Eg It could be 20/Oct/06 in A1 and 29/Oct/06 in B1.

Basically I need to add a column to my source data so I can use it as a filter on my Pivot Table in a different workbook. - something just as simple as TRUE/FALSE if the date is YTD for all years would be ideal.
Have attached an example if that makes it any clearer! nice simple formula would be ideal as sheet is around 600,000 rows long and growing!

I have a table with three columns. I'm building a calendar on a separate worksheet and am looking up the "value" based on a calendar date. So if a date falls within any of the ranges, I'd like to return the value in column C. For example, if the date is 02/07/12, I'd like for the result to be value 1, or if the date is 04/17/12, then I would like the result to be value 3. I've used a nested vlookup, but all that give me is the value when either the start or end dates match, but I can't get a value when the date falls within the range. If the dates were consecutive, I would simply use vlookup/TRUE, but the dates are not consecutive.

I have an excel sheet where I would like a user to enter a start date and end date(say Feb 1, 2013 to Feb 28,2013). And these dates will be able to change to whatever month the user wishes to look up in a specific date range(column A has 365+ dates). This post is closely related to [URL]... but I cannot figure out how to get it to work from my case.
So working off the same worksheet, I have the beginning date in AC35 and the end date in AC36 in which the user enters. I would like the dates that fall in this entire month, including the beginning and ending dates to be referenced when looking for the specific day that contains a value I have in S35.
In other words, I have data in columns A through N. The dates are in column A and S35 is a value obtained from using Max(L185:L526) where L185:L185 is manually selected each time I want a different month. I don't want this to be a manual process of scrolling down the spreadsheet to get the next month.

I have a table, which is a price list, with different prices based on different dates. For instance, the dates may be 1/1/04, 6/1/04, 7/1/04, 10/30/04, etc. I have some dates in another table, for instance, 2/2/04, 7/5/04, 12/20/04, etc. I want to lookup the date closest to, but not greater than, the last previous date posted. So, for the first date of 2/2/04, you would use the column with date 1/1/04 from the first paragraph. For a date of 7/5/04, you would use the column with date of 7/1/04. I think this is a simple VLOOKUP function, but not sure how to do a date compare. Also, the lookup has to do two things. First, it has to find the part number in the table, and then match it do the respective most recent date.
Table setup:
Part Number ---- Date
5555555555 ---- 7/5/04
Lookup table:
Part Number ---- 1/1/04 ---- 6/1/04 ---- 7/1/04
5555555555 ---- $65.32 ---- $68.52 ---- $71.52
I want to grab the price with the respective date from the first table. In this case, it would grab the price of $71.52 from the lookup table.

I have set the check boxes for each line. I would like to have the today date to appear after clicking the check box on the next right cell. Do I have to use IF for this one?
ALSO I want the number to count up after click the check box. For example:
Name:
Bob (assigned)- 5
(completed)- 4
Every number of completed line increases every time each box is clicked. How can I do that?

I have a tracker where each row has a predicted complete date, this date is already based on some IF statements. I have a second column where I would like a second date to be based on the overall team workload.
the workload factor should add on extra time to the first date.
This would by adding on.
0-40 = 3 weeks (standard time)
41-60 = 4 weeks
61-80 = 5 weeks
81- 100 = 6.5 weeks
101-120 = 7.5 weeks
I have two tabs.....I take the total workload from the Tracker Status and the progress tab is where the first date and the new date will appear.
I tried a formula using a % increase in time (I did this using e.g. 0.33 for 33% for increase between 3 and 4 weeks) (based on the increase in weeks), but it came out with date in 2052!!! This is my formula that doesn't work properly.

I have some cells which must be in the format 15/06/2007 15:25
I then need to add either days, months or years onto it.
Say the above date/time is in cell A1, when I do =YEAR(A1)+5 it displays 2012 if I choose the general cell format, but when I select the same cell format (date time) it comes out as 04/07/1905 00:00

In the sheet I am working on I have some numbers that represent todays activity. These numbers are volatile and reset when the date advances. I have a column on another tab that has all the days of the month as F4:F33
The results I want will go in the G4:G33 column.
C2 is Today() to avoid too many Today()s.
Active!J10 is the value I need in the G column.
Basically what I need is the value from Active!J10 to be copied to whichever cell corresponds to the date next to it in the G4:G33 and then stay there when the date advances
The formula I am using for the g range is :
=IF(F24=C2,Active!J10)
=IF(F25=C2,Active!J10)
=IF(F26=C2,Active!J10)
And so on down the column.
I dont mind the FALSES for future dates, but the current one changes to false upon the advancement of the date. Basically, I need a running log of the final numbers going down the G range and for those values to stay there when the date advances.
