I have a spreadsheet which has an output of order numbers and order details raised by differrent users. The problem with the spreadsheet in its current format is that I am unable to use data filter and choose all orders by a particular users
Column A, B & C are blank. Rows 1-9 have data in them but are not required. Cell D10 has the User's name in this format "requisitioner: James Jones"
Row 11 has some usefull column headers which i would like to keep
D11=PO Number
G11=PO Date
L11=Order Status
Q11=Receipt Status
S11=Invoice Status
X11= Total Value Not Received
Some columns have no data and could be deleted/stripped out:-
ABC,E,F,I,J,K,M,N,O,P,RT,U,V,W...............

The below code deletes blank columns in two work books. Now I would like to add to this code by performing an additional action on the worksheets. Below is the code that I have so far:
Sub Commandbutton2()
Dim iCol As Long
Dim Isheet As Long
Dim Item As Worksheet
Dim MFBooks(2) As Workbook
Dim lngIndex As Long
Set MFBooks(1) = Workbooks("MF BANK EXPOSURE SUMMARY.xls")
Set MFBooks(2) = Workbooks("MF CP EXPOSURE SUMMARY.xls")
For lngIndex = 1 To 2
For Each Item In MFBooks(lngIndex).Worksheets .....................

I went to the Macros page and pulled this macro to remove rows if they have blank cells:
Sub DeleteBlankRows2()
'Deletes the entire row within the selection if _
some of the cells WITHIN THE SELECTION contain no data.
On Error Resume Next
Selection.EntireRow.SpecialCells(xlBlanks).EntireRow.Delete
On Error Goto 0
End Sub
I ran this and nothing happened. Does anyone have a fix or perhaps a better way to make this happen?

I have several lists that I need to be able to print out periodically.
The main worksheet that underpins each list is over 900 lines long and numerous calcs and formulae populate columns to provide the data for my 'print lists'.
I need my 'print lists' on seperate worksheets and I have linked the data from my main worksheet results, using IF statements to stop unwanted results being displayed by making the rows appear empty (i.e. to display "").
Due to the design of my main Worksheet it is inevitable that I have many rows in each 'print list' that are not required for that particular 'print list'.
I want to remove the 'empty' rows from the print sheets at the time of printing. I cannot use the GoTo > Special > Blanks > Delete Rows because the rows are not recognised as being 'blank'.
I have attached 2 screenshots of my 'print lists'.
P.S. I am not assuming anything but I have searched on OZGRID and it appears to me that I might need to use Excel/VBA?

How do I make sure that my pivot table has no blank cells?
For instance if I have a store with more then 1 barcode of sales against it it will give me the store once at the top left cell of the first column and then the list of barcodes in the column next to it.
I want the store name to appear next to each barcode. Pivot tables make vlookups a pain in the arse to do and I'm sick of having to get around that by copying the pivot table into a blank sheet as values then using the autofilter to filter the blanks and use an ='theabovecell' formula to fill the blanks for all of the columns one by one.

I'm working with fragmented text inserts within my worksheet.
How can I make this:
,..A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P...
1,.............. Cell filled with text
2,.................................................Cell filled with text
3,.................................Cell filled with text
4,.........Cell filled with text
5,.................................................Cell filled with text
6,.......................Cell filled with text
7,.......................Cell filled with text
8,.......................Cell filled with text
9,...........................................Cell filled with text
look like this:
,..A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P...
1,Cell filled with text
2,Cell filled with text
3,Cell filled with text
4,Cell filled with text
5,Cell filled with text
6,Cell filled with text
7,Cell filled with text
8,Cell filled with text
9,Cell filled with text
Basically, I'm trying to create a macro that will remove the blank indented cells of each row, and return the cell (with text) to column A.

I have a pivot table that compares year-on-year sales data for accounts. If an account didn't have sales for the earlier year, the custom calculation errors #DIV/0! which I can show as at the account level. Problem is at the subtotal levels, I also get the error when I should be getting a value for the group. The error for the one account is affecting my subtotal.
Is there a way I can Show Empty Cells as a VALUE instead of TEXT of say... 0.001 so I can eliminate the error messages?

Hi, I desperately need help with a pivot-table and can't find anyone else who's ever had this problem...I have a very large healthcare data table which for simplicity I will describe as follows. In essence the first two columns respectively are (A) location and (B) month. Let's say the third column (C) is the number of cases of the disease kidpox treated in each health centre during that month. The fourth column (D) is the total number of cases of everything treated during that month in each clinic. The fifth column (E) is the proportion of cases of this disease over all consultations for each health centre and month, and the formula in E2 is .....

I'd like a macro that does 3 things..
1. Find the last row (cell) of data in the "Customer Number" column. This search should be by the name "Customer Number" rather than by column letter because the column that "Customer Number" will be in can change.
2. Find the column named "Purple" (also by name for same reason)
3. If the "Purple" column has no blank cells in those same number of rows as the "Customer Number" column, delete the whole "Purple" column.

I am creating a tracking spreadsheet where i can toggle between months (attached). It returns data properly when I select January or February from the yellow highlighted dropdown list. However, when i choose March, it returns 1/0/1900 because no data has been entered for March (table array) on the AAAG tab. How do I write the formula to return a blank cell on the summary sheet when no information has been entered into the table array yet?

Ok so my named range looks like this:

However, I want to ignore the "" cells and the truly blank cells... However, I think all of them will have "" since I have this formula in all of the ones I'm putting in the range:

How do I go about getting these results into a named range so I can use it on validation since validation only seems to ignore truly blank cells and not the "" ones.

i have a large amount of data with a lot of formatting (font sizes, colours, fill colours, mulltiple conditional formatting etc) and i now want to turn it into a table so i can use a data filter without mixing it up with the data that follows.
i tried leaving a blank line after it because i thought the filter only worked on a continous block of populated cells but it still includes rows after it so i'm going to define it as a table.
however, i spent ages getting the formatting right and from what i can see the action of creating a table applies new formatting. Is there a way to create the table preserving my formatting?
if not, the only workaround i can think of is to make a temporary copy of the range and use that to copy and paste the formatting back to the table. would that also work?

I have sporadic cell values in a column. I will be describing the lamen logic I use to fill in these blanks manually. Find the first nonblank cell in the column, then look for the next nonblank cell in the column. I count the number of blank cells in between. If even # of blank cells, then I give the first half of the blanks the value of the first nonblank cell and the second half of the blank cells the value of the next nonblanck. If odd # of blank cells, then I do the same with the exception that the odd cell that falls in the middle will be randomly designated the value of the either first or second nonblank cell.

I can count the blank cells withiin a range using
=COUNTBLANK(C6:AD2506)
But I dont want it to count the cells if the entire row, within that cell, i.e. C6:AD6, is blank.
It should only count the blank cells within a row if there has been some data entered on that row..provided it has been entered within the specified range.

I have spent several hours searching the forum but have not been able to find any code that I could tailor to my specific need.
Basically, when I press a button on a 'Util' sheet, I need to cut every row on the 'Source' sheet with 'Closed' in column 'B', paste the rows to the next blank row on the 'Closed_Requests' sheet, and delete the resulting blank row from the 'Source' sheet.
