I have a list of Products in my Excel file, I am trying to put them into categories easily. So what I am asking is there a way to select all rows with a certain key word in them so I can easily paste them into my other excel file?
I have a workbook with part data. Each worksheet is an individual part with its data on that sheet. I'm trying to move certain rows between two key words to a separate wb/ws for the top key word. Data looks something like this:
As I said, each sheet could have only one supplier or a dozen. The number of rows between each supplier also vary. I was trying something like this to do what I need to do:
I see where my logic problem is: It's looping through a3 - lastrow, but I'm going one row extra each time, so when it goes to the top of the loop again, I'm one row to far starting off. I originally did this because if there's only 1 supplier on the sheet, there won't be another supplier name below it to give me my range.
I am trying to NEXT my way through a column of comments and highlight the cells containing the key words. Below is what I have put together, but I know it is NOT working correctly....
Currently running a macro which selects all the rows between two specific words and pastes the selection into another worksheet. However, it runs this search on the entire workbook, whereas I'd just like it to run the search in a particular column (column D in this instance).
This is the code as it currently stands:

I need to find 100 or so keywords in a column, I have the list but how would I search multiple keywords as there are 10k columns and it would take forver to search for them manually?
I have data in which there are important keywords within a row (e.g.,# Message: FacesSc0_1) that are 'boundary markers' for data that is relevant to me. What I want to do is to select the data in the column between two such keywords, replace them all with the same specific value, and delete the other rows.
I would like to replace the values in the cells between "# Message: FacesSc0_1" and "# Message: FacesSc0_1" with the value 1, delete the values between "# Message: FacesSc0_2" and "# Message: FacesSc0_3", and replace the values in the cells between "# Message: FacesSc0_3" and "# Message: FacesSc0_4" with value 2. The resulting column would be reduced to this:
In column A I have 50,000 cells, each containing 1 to 10 keywords. For example A1 = "jobs" A2 = "jobs in milton keynes" A3 = "it jobs in milton keynes" A4 = "sales jobs in milton keynes" A5 = "well paying brickie work in spain" etc etc
At first I was trying to find out the most common keywords in column A, and I used the following code to do so
I'm evaluating the effectiveness of a keyword list we use to identify certain, high priorit,y medical situations from a string of text.
So, I have a column on a sheet of data (EIS Report!"B:B") in this case, and a seperate column on another sheet with keywords (Keywords!"A2:A47").
I use the formula ={OR(NOT(ISERROR(FIND(keywords!$A$2:$A$47,$B2))))} to identify if any of the keywords exist in the string. This works well but I would like to improve my work in two ways:
1 - Identfiy, in another column on the EIS report sheet, which keyword it is that's been found within the string, 2 - On the keyword sheet, add another column of words, which if found within the string, would act as an exclusion.For example, I might use "STAB" as a keyword to look for "Male stabbed" etc, however might want to exclude "STABBING" to stop the solution triggering on "STABBING PAINS IN ABDO"

The "multiple words found" part isn't a big deal (I'm not sure how I'd deal with it anyways). The "Unsorted" part is there assuming creating the separate lists won't remove the entries from the original list (which would then leave all the unsorted text).
I have a sheet where i want to delete duplicate rows where column A and column B combined are equal, i.e. range(Ax:Bx) where x is the current row. I am using the macro below but cant seem to get it working as I keep getting a type mismatch error and Im not sure why.
I'd like to tell Excel that anytime it finds the text "ABC" anywhere in any cell in column B but doesn't have any data in column A, to delete the entire row.
I was wondering if it is possible to delete rows if a value appears only 1 time in a column? To clarify since 123 only appears once in column A I want the entire row 4 deleted.
I want to create a Macro to be used on the Active Sheet that FIRST deletes all the rows that contain the following values in Column E. Here are the values contained in Column E that will result in deleting the whole row: PT, JK, BH.

Second, I would like the Macro to DELETE the ENTIRE Column E Not just the values in Column E.
I have searched high and low for a more efficient macro than the current loop i have. I have a range that varies in size but always follows the same format. After i reach a certain value output from a formula, "4", I want to delete all lines below that line. So I want to find value "4" then move one row down and delete all lines to line 2004. I have attached the macro that i compiled but it takes a couple of minutes to run.

I have a spreedsheet that has both numerical data and text data in column "A". I need to delete all the rows that have text in Column A and keep the rows that have numerical data.
I have written some code that will allow me to filter and delete any rows where there is a value in a column ( column J in this instance ) more than 2500. The problem is that it only wolrs when i press F8 and step through the code, and not when i press the commnd button and run it.

I am trying to delete rows that do not have values in column B. This is a quote form that takes up over 1000 rows but not all are needed (ie lines that do not have any value in B "qty"). Is there a way do have excel delete these without doing it manually?

I have a spreadhseet that has rows with headers, blanks & total lines throughout that need to be deleted. There are also about 48 rows of data at the bottom that are not needed.
The row numbers will be variable each time the report is run. I need the macro to find the last row of data in column A, use this as the last row in the range and delete all rows above this unless there is numbers 1 to 12 in column J.

I have data input in a particular column, say Column C.
I would like to have a macro that deletes the rows where the corresponding entry in Column C are blank.
In addition, there are multiple worksheets with the same data format in the same spreadsheet, but the number of row varies. It would be great if the macro can delete the row with blank cell in that column across all worksheet.
I need a code that will go thru column C and delete the whole row if cell value is 78315, Also it needs to shift the the rows up so there is no empty rows wheneverything is done done. I used some codes but they take forever to go thru whole sheet.
Starting in cell F3, if Column F is greater than or equal to zero, delete the entire row and continue deleting rows until Column A has contents in it. Then go to Column F in that same row that had contents in Column A, if the contents in that row of Column F are greater than or equal to zero, delete the entire row and continue deleting rows until Column A has contents in it.
