Jul 11, 2007I'm making five charts on one sheet and there's so much white space. I removed the border, got rid of the plot area, and have tried to send the charts back but there's so much white space. QUESTION: Is there a method to elimite white space on a chart/graph?

I have cells that end up with a lot of text, but excel will push the next text heavy cell to the next page leaving you with a few inches of white space on the previous page. Is there a way to just continue the printing of one cell onto the next page to make all the pages even? It takes up extra paper and looks bad when printed...

Remove The Extra White Space Between Each Comma Delimited Digit
Oct 25, 2009This is a delima I cannot figure out. I had to create passwords for a website we are building. I have 3000 employee numbers has to be used. So what i did was took the first initial and middle initial and last initial and first 5 of the ID number. I did a comma delimiter to obtain all of the letters and numbers. example: ABC12345
My problem is none of the passwords work because when I imported the letters and numbers into the sheet it looks just like the above. However on review I cut and pasted back to notepad and the data looks like this:
"A B C 12345"
So its adding a tab in the password thats thats a problem, How do I remove this extra white space between each comma delimited digit? without having to manually delete it ?

Final result will have this format and the data are right aligned.

The numbers can vary (e.g. 0150MG, 0025MG,etc.) but the arrangement is always the same: four figures for the first 4 characters and two letters for the last two characters.
The format of the cells containing the data is: “General”
My table has 7 columns and these data are in the 5th column in a worksheet called “ProductSummary”. The number of rows for the records can vary from 10 to over a couple of hundred.

Feb 22, 2008I looked at a couple pages of Ozgrid solutions for people that were having word wrap issues and decided my issue wasnt related to any of them - my cells are not merged and they are not exceeding 1024 characters. I have a sales sheet with column headings as the name of the product, many of which have long names (but all less than 100 characters). For example, one cell value is "Flow Meters And Regulators 2007" and another is "Sphygmomanometers 2007".
My column width pre-format is 8.43 and after format is 7.86
The only code I use to adjust the row and column size is
With Rows("1:2")
.WrapText = True
.AutoFit
End With
Columns.AutoFit
As you can imagine "Sphygmomanometers" breaks into two lines in the short confines of 7.86 width. How can i get the column autofit to adjust to the full word?

Jun 12, 2008I have a worksheet that will have tabs added as time goes by and a macro within the workbook currently selects all of the sheets and copies and pastes formulas within all of the sheets simultaneously. Right now, if a tab is added, the macro needs to be updated to select that specific tab name as well.
I would like to simply have the macro select all of the sheets starting with "IL" until the sheet before "reference", or all sheets except the first 3 and the last 2 if that is easier. Any ideas? And thank you for your help, you people really amaze me sometimes!
