Determine If Time & Another Condition Is Exceeded

I'm trying to calculate when a waiting time falls outside and exceptable time period. This is based on two colums of data. The first column contains a number from 1 to 5 and the second a time period. (see attached example) in column "C" I need a formula that looks at the value in "A" and if it equals (1) and the time period in "B" is > 00:02 it should show "EXCEEDED". If "A" does contain a (1) then the code stops otherwise it does another loop of "A" looking for a (2) and a time in "B" of >00:10 etc.

What i would like to do is record a cell on sheet1 in sheet2 when it reaches a certain number i.e 2. The cell in sheet1 changes all the time but sheet2 must not refresh. Is this possible with a formula?

formula to find the last number in a cell and if that number meets a condition put a letter in the adjacent cell.
In cell A1 I have numbers as such 254671 (these numbers vary in length but not normally more than 8 in length). I want to know if the last numeral on the right is a 1 and if so then enter in the adjacent cell (B1) the letter y if not then leave blank.

I am trying to create a spreadsheet to determine hrs per time interval
i.e
06:00 - 14:00
14:00 - 22:00
22:00 - 06:00
So a start time of 06:00 and finish time of 14:00 would show 8hrs in first interval and 0 in the other 2 and a start time of 10:00 and a finish time of 18:00 would show 4hrs in first interval and 6 in second and 0 in last
I've currently got start time in A1 , finish time in B1 and want hours for interval 1 in D1 , interval 2 in E1 and interval 3 in F1.

I'm trying to sort column G for any "Approved" or "Denied" outcomes then find the time difference between columns E and F then divide that difference by the number of approved or denied in column G. I've tried a number of combinations of SUMIFS, IFS, COUNTIFS, and Ave formulas but can't come up with one that works. Here's an example of what I'm trying to do:

I have found an older thread that explains how to determine if a date falls in DST or not. See here Daylight Savings Time Funcitions. It does not follow the DST rules we use here in Canada and the formula is very confusing to me as it uses arrays, something I have yet to fully understand. DST in Canada begins the 2nd Sunday of March and ends on the 1st Sunday in November. I have a date in one column and a time in the next. What I would like to do is have a formula that checks to see if the date falls in DST and if so adds 1 hour to the second column. The result will show up in a third column.

How to create a formula to determine the longer period of time between two date calculations and enter the longer period of time in the cell.
My Spreadsheet:
Cell M2: Birthdate (entered in cell as 11/1/2004)
Cell J2: Last date of service (entered in cell as 10/31/2011)
Cell G2: Calculation to enter the longer period of time between (M2 (year) + 21) and (J2 (year) + 7)
Example using information from above:
2004 + 21 = 2025
2011 + 7 = 2018
2025 is the result I want added to G2
If there is any way to include the month/year in G2 that would be ideal.

I have two columns C & D. In col C (C10) a time is entered (either 13.45 or 0:33.22 format). If column D (D10) is blank then the time in Col C stays the same (13.45 or 0:33.22). However if Col D has a M in the cell (D10) I want to add 0.24 to the time in Col C (C10) eg 13.69 or 0:33.46. I have tried various formula combinations but keep getting circular reference errors.

I'm struggling with an alternative method of suppressing the # DIV/0 in my worksheet. I'm familiar with the ISERROR function and it's use as well as using =IF(A2=0,"",A1/A2), however I'm still getting #DIV/0 errors and I can't use ISERROR because
I have exceeded the number of nested IF's.
I've attached an example. In the example, the only time the #DIV/0 appears is when "Y" appears in the Commit and In-House column for all rows. This is the condition I'm trying to suppress the #DIV/0 error for.
All the formula's I'm using are Array Formula, as are all my attempts to suppress the error....

In Column 4 I want to enter a formula that adds working hours only to the date and time entered in Columns 1 & 2. The time added will vary depending on what is entered in Column 3 (e.g.: if priority is High add 1 hour, Medium add 2 hours, Low add 3 hours). The working hours i need to adhere to are 09:00-17:00, Monday-Friday.

I hope the title makes sense. I have a spreadsheet that I'm trying to use to calculate volumes of liquid. For each liquid there is a minimum and maximum amount that can be included in a vial, and a checkbox to indicate if it should be included or not. What I'm having trouble with is some logic (other than a million if= statements) to determine the amount of each needed.
If only a few are selected, using the max value for each is fine as it is below the volume of the vial, so I want to use the max. But if enough are selected, the max for each would exceed the volume of the vial, and I want to pick a percentage of each component's range until we get a volume that will fit in the vial (ie, it figures out that 84% of the max for each will fit, but knows never to drop below the min).

I am trying to find a way to identify the nmber of periods where a particular value is exceeded.
Basically I have daily data on sales for 40 years and I would like to define a level of sales i.e. 23 units per day and a period i.e. 10 days and then output the number of times where the recorded sales level is greater than 23 units per day for 10 or more days.
Ideally I would like it so the sales level and period can be set in reference cells and the formula can adapt to different sales levels and periods.

I have been trying to do an if statement but need to choose between 10 options:
In Column AA I could have any one of the following 10 text entries - In column AB I need to return 8, 4, 2, 1 or 0.5 depending on which is in AA (this column AA cannot be sorted nor are people willing to cut back to 5 options )
"Very High" returns 8
"Very High (>50)" returns 8
"High" returns 4
"High (>20)"returns 4
"Medium" returns 2
"Medium (>10)" returns2
"Low" returns 1
"Low (>5)" returns 1
"Very Low" returns 0.5
"Very Low (<1)" returns 0.5
naturally the following IF statement won't work as I have exceeded the limits

I have an Excel macro which works well in comparing two columns A and B. It populates column C with unique values in A and not in B, populates column D with unique values in column B and not in A and puts the values found in both A and B in the fifth column (E).
Data in the columns A and B of Sheet 1 has exceeded 1,048,576 (the maximum allowable in Excel 2007) and i will copy the overflow data in Sheet 2's column A and B and i will like the comparison to continue in the next worksheet.
I need the macro to treat the second worksheet as a continuation of the first sheet and not as a separate data. (The values i am comparing have exceeded 1million).

I have rows of data in excel that update automatically and i want to check in column B how many times there are simultaneous occurrences of a cell value and then if those occurences have been there for a time specified time duration using column C which has a time and date stamp. The time and date stamp is when the price is saved down.
A Simplified Example:

What I would like the formula to is to count the occurrences of cell B that have been avilable for longer than say 30 minutes.
Formula that worked out the occurrences of cell B with this formula
=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF($B$2:$B$7="Buy",ROW(B2:B7)-ROW(B2)+1),IF($B$2:$B$7<>"Buy",ROW(B2:B7)-ROW(B2)+1)),1))
So if i wanted to count the simultaneous occurrences of "Buy" then the formula would result 1 and the same for sell if i changed the formula would be 2.
Now i want to try and get a way of using the time those occurrences were available for by using Column C
The simultaneous "Buy" was available from 09/05/2014 09:00 to 09/05/2014 11:01 which is longer than 30 minutes so i want to count that as a occurrence.
Then both the "Sell" were only available for 14 minutes the first time and then only for 20 minutes the second time so none of those would count.

I have two spreadsheets, one gives me the beginning and end of civil twilight as a measure of day vs. night. The spreadsheet has Date/Time in the first column, and the value 45 in the 2nd column when it is night. The second spreadsheet has also 2 columns with date/time and body temperatures of a squirrel. I want to get basic statistics (mean and standard deviation) of the squirrel's nocturnal body temperature, that is for times when it is night (value 45). The tricky part is that Date/Time of both spreadsheets are different. The procedure has to recognize that the date/time of body temperature lies between the beginning and end of the value 45 blocks of the first spreadsheet.

I am trying to perform a calculation in a cell that leaves the value 0 if before Feb 2014, changes to the value of another cell in Feb 2014 and leaves the value unchanged if after Feb 2014. I can get to the Feb 2014 value but after that month the value changes to 0.
The Cell formula that I am trying to use is as follows:
=IF(YEAR($A$3)<2014,"0",(IF(YEAR($A$3)>2014,H114,(IF(MONTH($A$3)<>2,H114,AA118)))))
A3 contains TODAY()
H114 is the cell being calculated
AA118 is the cell containing the calculated value for the current month.

I would like to try and achive a conditional format that will require a lookup function. when the condition is met it places Yes or No into a cell and changes that row colour to red for the NO condition. and after 10 days from now the rowcolour is removed.
