Disable TextBoxes And Input Correct Data Based On ComboBox Choice

when i choose material from my combobox Options (cboTM), i wanted, only the textboxes regarding to the sheet material unlocked, and the others locked with the color of the form, and the same for the other options like worklabor and equipments. i could blocked for material with this code :

The prob is, worklabor and equipments will be blocked too, and i dont know how to put correct info on the textboxes.

I have three textboxes (16,17,18) that need to be disabled if a certain value ("Regular Hours") is in combobox1. Would I use an If statement? Also, is there a way to "gray out" the textboxes to show they are disabled?

I have a set of 4 multiple choice answers B,C,D,E column "F" lists a # 1-4 which lets you know which column letter (b,c,d,e) the correct answer is in. I want to set up a formula that will copy the contents of the correct answer (based on that # identifier) and copy it into column "A" which is currently blank.

I want to put "D"'s value 'Dean Martin' in column A - i know it belongs in A because the "3" in column F indicates its the 3rd answer listed i.e Dean Martin. This format would be the same where there are 4 possible answers on the column to the right dictates which answer is correct.

I require users to select the month they wish to view their payslip with and then press "Go" (a command button) and jump to the worksheet that contains their payslip info. I have Problem opening worksheet from userform. Name of the months are in Combox. So when I select month January from comboBox and click on Week 1 command Button it should open worksheet named "Jan" and Select Cells(2,1) to show Week 1. And Same for week 2, week 3 and week4 but will select different Range or cells. I have attached the screenshot of userform and also the workbook.

I am trying to create a macro that will allow the user to select choices from combo boxes on a userform. The choice of one combo box determines what will be shown in the next combo box and so on. This will occur a set number of times (depending on what they are looking for), at which point the list of possible choices will be presented.

I populated one combo box in UserForm_Initialize() but then I might have to change the others with Combobox1_Change()...

I thought I had finished my project but I keep getting errors, the latest one being that I have 2 comboboxes on userform "timekeeping". When I press the commandbutton "Submit", I want the values in the textboxes on that form to be placed in the spreadsheet, depending on what the selections the user has made in the comboboxes but I keep getting an error saying that the macro doesnot exist in the workbook even though it does!

I have a TextBox and a ComboBox. the TextBox shows the current date

VB : TextBox1.Value = Format(Date, "dd/mm/yyyy")

The ComboBox has a list index of years say from 1991 to 2030. Is it possible Change only the "yyyy" in the TextBox based on the changed value in ComboBox.

Say the textbox1 shows today 14/06/2014. now if we select 2016 in ComboBox1 the TextBox1 date should changed to 14/06/2016.

Excel 2010 :: Hide / Show Textboxes And Labels Based On Combobox Selection?

I have created a UserForm that has a ComboBox and depending on the number selected I want it to show that number of Labels/TextBoxes...

So if I select "0" nothing is shown, if I select "1" one set of Labels/TextBoxes is shown, select "2" and two sets of Labels/TextBoxes are shown... but also if I have selected "2" and then select "1" I want the second set to be hidden again...


Also I know I should have renamed the Label/TexBoxes to make it easer but I was adding things and making it up as I went along...

I'm using Excel 2010 on windows 7.

I'm currently building an Excel database. This database has a few comboboxes and checkboxes that are tied to each other. If I select the combobox option of "Years", the "Quarters" combobox must be greyed out. In addition depending on which option is chosen, the relevant check boxes must be enabeled or disabled. I've written some code which runs fine, until I try and activate another macro button or if I add and rename a sheet(which is not linked to anything). What should I do? Here is a sample of my code. Determining Formula To Choose And How To Input The Data In Correct Fields

I am trying to save some time converting a cut up inventory catalog number. Specifically focusing on the color code. I have the list of colors associated with their specific part number. The order cannot change or my sheet will mismatch.

What I want to do is convert the # in column A to the color code text in column b so that it matches the translated code in column C? For example

1 I want to tell 1 to = Polished Chrome anytime #1 appears in my column.

What formula should I choose to achieve that goal. As well, how do I know what data to imput into the formula wizard?

Sheet is attached.

I have Cut a few thousand items off the bottom of the sheet. I can apply to additional data left off.

I currently have a drop down menu in one of my worksheets, in which I have several different text values entered. What I would like to do is link each of those text values to a numerical value, which would be entered in to another cell. So if I select "Option A" from my drop down list, and Option A is equal to 200, I want "200" to show up in another cell. If I select "Option B" from my drop down list, and Option B is equal to 400, I want "400 to show up in that same other cell.

When one creates multiple UserForms with multiple (identical) TextBoxes, every control must have its own event handler procedures. All these TextBoxes in my workbook are to capture numeric data to populate various cells in the workbook.

Would you recommend using a Class Module to handle these events for TextBox controls, rather than having to repeat the event handler code for each control?

And if so, do you have some code that I can use that will cover most of the events and potential error handling routines for numeric input data?

Choice Of Value To Input Gives The Other Value

I have a percentage based calculation I'm using to estimate monthly expenditures and such.

Say I have a Total Sales Dollars in cell A1

Now I have my total expenditure dollars in cell B1

In cell C1 I have the percentage of what my total expenditures are vs my Sales dollars (B1/A1)

What I would like to be able to do is either be able to enter in the Expenditure Dollars (B1) or the Expenditure % (C1) and have it calculate the other field.

For instance if I enter a value in B1 it will give me C1, or
I can enter a value in C1 and give it a value in B1.

Is it possible to just use these two cells with formulas or maybe a CF??

Not sure if it's late in the day, but my mind is drawing a blank on this.

My Main data in my workbook is copied from another workbook. From there it is sorted into separate worksheets for each customer via a macro. I want to be able to set something up so that I can list the customers and then list job descriptions, products and pricing from the correct sheet and return the selected data back to its original form in sheet1.

I am also trying to run the macro that sorts the data in this workbook from another workbook.

I need to populate two combo boxes from excel sheet, the data will be like below:

Column A Column B
A 1
A 2
A 3
A 4
A 5
B 100
B 101
B 102

So from the above data, one combo box should hold unique values A & B.

On selecting a value from the 1st combo box A or B, respective values should be populated in 2nd combo box.

So the data should be like below:

If A is selected in the 1st combo box, then 2nd combo box should only show the values 1,2,3,4 & 5.
If B is selected in the 1st combo box, then 2nd combo box should only show the values 100,101 & 102.

Friends I need it in a macro and one important point is, this is dynamic and it is not static and the data can be more.
