I have an Excel Workbook with a worksheet containing around 5-6 charts placed side by side. When user clicks on any chart I want that particular chart to Zoom and come in the centre whereas the background must become inactive (Similar to how Picassa Photo Viewer works).
I have a workbook with multiple charts in and will be available to others to use but I want to disable the ability for them to be able to right click on a chart and make any alterations. I cannot lock out the page due to other things that I have going on. I also need to reverse this code when they close the workbook down so it does not affect any other workbooks
As part of my work i am starting to create a two weekly programme in teh form of a gantt chart. now i have had a little google and seen plenty of spreadsheets available but they all seem to be not in a range of dates i would like. Ans plus they seem to be read only and thus i cant add a column on the end i would like for displaying resources used for the task.
Now i am sure if i searched hard enough i could find this answer but I have another question.
Whereas all the one i have seen involve typing the date and it just displays the bar.
Is there a way I can make it so that i can just click on a cell and that cell becaomes highlighted. so for example of o want at ask to happen on a wednesday i click the cell in that row and t automatically fills. and if i click it again it dissapears?
Currently, I have 3 charts which were created from data in the spreadsheet. I would like to have all 3 charts put on a userform for the users to view all at once. I would like this to appear once they click on the command button "View Capacity Charts" on the "Core Products" sheet.
I included in VBA a Userform1 with three Images, but I am not sure if that is the right way to go about....
I have a list of tasks/rows with completion rate from 1-100%. I would like to display this rate information through individual tiny bar charts linked to each cell value. I managed to do it by formatting and resizing a chart appropriately. However, i don't know how to proceed to copy and paste the chart for all rows without having to edit the data series individually.

On a weekly basis I update a suite of charts in one workbook that are created from several other linked workbooks. Once compiled I send this via email to a colleague who incorporates it into another report by printing the charts as a pdf. For some reason he often ends up with erroneous data (zero's where there shouldn't be on the charts), or often his system doesn't display certain elements like titles and axes etc
We think his system is spending resource looking for the original data and getting itself knotted up, but surely there should be a way of delinking the charts but maintaining their integrity as they are saved?
I am using Excel 2010 to create a simple chart. When I enter the information, highlight it and select a chart, the chart area appears blank. It doesn't matter what kind of chart I choose- it still appears blank. I've tried going into the Advanced options and indicating for All objects to be shown and that didn't work.
I'm trying to create a chart that will display dates along the vertical (y) axis and time (on a 24-hour timeline) on the horizontal (x) axis. Ideally, I'd like the chart to show the various time entries on each date, perhaps represented by a point or other mark at the appropriate intervals corresponding to the time entries for each date. Failing that, a Gantt-style chart that shows a span, represented by a bar beginning at the earliest time and extending to the latest time entry for each date would be useful....

Upon clicking any cell in Sheet1, it will automatically filter based on cell A and B.

Automaticall display filtered criteria based on double click from Sheet1
For example: when I double click on C1, on Sheet2 will automatically diplay filtered data based on A1 and B1 and same thing goes to if I double clik on C2 on Sheet2 will automatically diplay filtered data based on A1 and B2.
Pivot Chart. I would like to set up something to where a user can click on an individual value on a pivot chart (currently a line chart set up with 4 data series) and somehow display some underlying data. I have a lot of information stored in a data worksheet that I can't display all at once, but if a user sees a questionable data point, he/she can click and learn more about it from source data, or even a new query of the data worksheet.
I got a problem though with specificying a 2d array. I basically want to click the "command button" and display one collum with names and the one next to it with results. The only problem is trying to get vba to display this on the work sheet.
When i add a month coloumn,Sparklines and Average coloumn should get updated automaticaly.Now this is not happening even if the data is in table format.I also want the graphs to be automaticaly updated.
I am trying to put some charts into a report that is pivot table based. I have some code that will work if the pivot tables stay stagnic but the users may change the tables around so that could be an issue of new data. I have the following code where I changed the source to the pivot table name (general name because of numberous report possibilites). I have taken out the other charts because they are just a variation of the chart 1. I am crashing on the line with the * on it.

Running into this issue of "transworksheet macros"
I have a master "update" commandbutton on sheet 1. I have two sub "update" buttons on sheet 2 and 3 respectively.
What I would like to do is have the user click the master button, that would "click" the two sub buttons so they run their respective macros on their respective worksheets (within the same worksheet.
I have tried pasting the macro code in the master button, telling it to select the sub worksheet and then run the macro, but the marco runs itself on the master worksheet instead.
I have attached the spreadsheet for reference. All other sheets pull information from the WHITE sheet.
I want the columns for unit price, discount and total to be set to two decimal places but I also don't want it to show anything if the field has a 0 value (so if i only have a few items I don't get lots of o's).
To get the field to not display a 0 if it is empty on the WHITE sheet I have been using "0;-0;;@" which I found on the net. If I use this then it negates the two decimal places.
I have never done this before and I am having a hard time - it seems that none of the graphs in the Excel menu accommodate what I want and I have no idea what I am doing to boot.. Could someone PLEASE help?

What would the formula be to have the range of the chart (ie =Data!$BS$1188:$BS$1201) to get the row numbers, not the row, from numbers entered elsewhere on a data sheet (ie =Data!$BS$1188:$BS$1201)
As a lot of the time I use the same number range but on different rows and sheets.
I'm trying to find a way to select all charts in a worksheet and pasting them into a new sheet as a jpeg and can't find a way to select the charts all together as a group like if you shift click them.
