An integer in stored in Sheet1!A1. I want a formula in Sheet1!A2 to display data of sheetx!A3 where x is the number chosen in Sheet1!A1.

e.g. Sheet1!A1 store 3. Then Sheet1!A2 will display Sheet3!A3.

e.g. Sheet1!A1 store 7. Then Sheet1!A2 will display Sheet7!A3.

I have a macro that 'opens all' workbooks in the specified folder. I've copied it over, but need to only open all the wbk's if a specified worksheet exists w/in the wbk..I know there is a dim ws statement that can be used, but how do i use it w/ the current macro?

Conditional Check To See If A Worksheet Exists

I am writing a macro which first needs to look and see if a certain worksheet exists. If it doesn't then I want it to create it but if it does I first want it to delete the sheet then create a blank one with the same name. At trhe moment I have this but it is scrappy and doesn't work very well:

On Error Goto AddSheet
If Sheets("MONEYSHEET").Activate Then Goto Data

AddSheet:
Sheets.Add before:=Sheets("LOOKUPSHEET")
ActiveSheet.Name = "MONEYSHEET"

Data:

It also does not delete the sheet if it already exists, just edits the existing one.

Check If Value Exists In Range For Worksheet Filtering

I'm looking to use the value from a series of dropdowns (made via data validation lists).

Cell AM5 is a dropdown of named ranges made form a seperate sheet
Cell AO5 is a dropdown that uses '=INDIRECT(AM5) to lookup the values in the named range.

I need cell AO5's value to be used to filter rows in the current worksheet. The current problem is when i use the first dropdown in AM5 it still displays the last value, untill i use the dropdown to select a new one. This value typically will not be found and i do not want my code to execute in these cases.

Test/Check If Shape Exists On Worksheet

I'm creating a macro to select, modify dimensions and place shapes on a excel sheet. (I'm talking about pictures insered and stocked in a specific sheet of my workbook)
When the users insert a new picture he has to set a name for each of them.
A combobox contain the choices, when an item is selected, the macro identify, size and place the corresponding picture.

But I have a bug if a shape doesn't exist when I try to select it :

'select the sheet with the pictures
ActiveSheet.Shapes(Item_old).Select
'select the shapes "Item_Old"
Item_Old is a variable corresponding to the picture name.

If the user made a typo, I have a bug.
Someone knows how to test if the shapes exist to display a meesage if not ?
Or somethig to avoid this kind of bug ?

I have working data on list sheet and added data on compiled sheet.

I need to match duplicates and delete these rows from compiled sheet.

I've tried coping to the list sheet and use "Remove Duplicates", but it rids me of the data that has been processed and has fills applied.

I'm looking for a macor that can do this work for me without losing data on list sheet.

This data reaches into the thousands and I'm looking to run this off the CASE column.

I have created a form that converts latitude / longitude from Decimal Degrees to Degrees Minutes Seconds decimal seconds. I want my coworkers to be able to use the form, but I don't want them to see the excel window/worksheet when they open it up.... I thought I had received an email once that appeared to be an excel file but when you opened it, it was just a form. I have tried all I can think of to no avail.

Once all the information has been completed throughout the workbook, is there a code that could transfer specific data on each page to a different colum on that same page? Dropdown List Displaying Multiple Results - No Functionality If Worksheet Is Protected

I wanted to create a multiple drop down lists (using data validation) in column B (50 in all, every 3rd line) whereby, multiple, comma deliminated, results would display in each of the cells - for use elsewhere in the spreadsheet.

I found some code (as follows) which worked perfectly for me

As I mentioned above, I don't really understand the code and all I know is that the line about halfway down "If Target.Column = 2 Then" is defining which column (B) this will work in.

The problem I am having is that I need to protect the worksheet and the moment I "protect" the worksheet, the functionality of displaying multiple values goes away and the drop-down list reverts to only displaying one of the available values.

Autofilling A Colum That Has Different #'s And Spaces

I am currently trying to autofill a column or use a formula to try and autofill. I know how to do the dragging thing but that is too time consuming as I have about 30,000 rows and this needs to be done weekly. I know there's a way to do it but I forgot. Basically if you look at the first number below (ends in 0612), I want it to fill all the cells that are underneath it until it reaches the next number (which ends in 0856 below), then I want to fill all the blank cells(that end in 0856) with the 0856 number and continue down.

Is there maybe a formula that I can create in the column next to this and have it do it that way, or is there an option that will let me do this by highlighting the column.

Run Macro Unless Data Exists?

Right now, when selecting "Sheet2", this macro auto runs, and does it's thing. Is there a way to code it so that upon selecting sheet2, if data exists in the cells, make the macro go to the end of the list? For instance, this macro is great the first time someone goes to sheet2, but if they begin putting data in, and need to go back to sheet1 to reference something, then come back into sheet2, this macro runs again and moves the focus to the cell I coded. I need it to realize that there is now info in the cells, and move not to the selected cell, but to the end of the newly entered data.

Get The Status Colum To Update Automatically

I have a spreadsheet reports on tasks that is updated daily.
At the end of the columns is a due date column and a status colour column where 4 options are possible:
Red = out of target, yellow = on target, brown = still on target but at risk, and green = on target.

I have been asked to see if there is some way of making the status colour column automated so that as task pass their due date and are not complete or are complete, the status field changes automatically.

I have added the feature in =today() in cell A1 and another column next to due date date completed. I think these will help but not sure how to get the status colum to update automatically. I've tried using the IF function but that only returns text...

is there any way to NOT Displaying Items with No Data when filtering data in my pivot table?

For instance, I have 2 report filters: Category and Subcategory, when I select a category in the first filter I want to see only the options of subcategories with data in the second filter, I mean display only the subcategories of the Category previously filter.

Same scenario I have with a report with Directors and Organizations, when I filter one Director it would be nice to see only the organizations of this director and not all options on the data.
