Expand X Axis Based On Cell Values

I want to create a bar chart so that the X axis scale is based the value in the reference cells. For example, a table created for running profile as follow:
The data table # of minutes2221 pace (MPH)4.06.08.04.0
The chart I need to produce. The data has 4 records, but the chat needs to show bars of total number of minutes. Picture1.png How do I do it?

I have an Excel chart as a separate worksheet. It has 10,000 data points. Is there a way to Zoom in on the X-axis only. I am looking to expand or zoom the X-axis to take a closer look at the individual data points. Since I have 10,000, I need a way to take a closer look at an area defined by the mouse pointer. Can this be done with VB code? I am not looking to expand or zoom the "Y" axis, this can be done with the scale values. Can this be done with a mouse drag or double click on the area of the chart I want to expand.

Two questions:
1) How do make values on x-axis as words? E.g. apples, oranges, etc.
2) Is it possible to have the numbers on x-axis in descending order? If I can figure out 1), I can do this as well, but it would be nice to know if it is possible to have the numbers on x-axis in descending order.

The simplified example below is intended to calculate the sums from the data values in the upper data set and place them in the appropriate cells in the lower summary table. Example......
I would like to find a single-cell formula that will handle the multiple instances of either the X or Y headings (ex: there are two 'Yes' Rows) and still reach the appropriate summations. I would like to accomplish this without resorting to Macros or manual cell references if possible. I've acheived some limited success with array formulae so far, but find that the multiple instances of 'Yes' cause only one row to be summed before the formula finishes.

I have a workbook containing two worksheets - Sheet 1 being my "data entry sheet" and Sheet 2 is a sort of summary report containing multiple named ranges (all grouped according to similar values in a cell i.e. all cells containing 1-1 is named GRP1, all cells containig 1-2 is named GRP2). Basically, my workbook looks like this:

A B C D
1 Lea Female 1-1 Lea Wells
2 Leo Male 1-2 Leo Anderson
Sheet 2
A B C D
1 Anne Thomas Female 1-1
2 John Doe Male 1-1
4 Jimmy Beads Male 1-2

Hence, when I enter the data as shown in Sheet 1, Sheet 2 should look like this:

I am currently using the above formula and need to make an addition to it.
If D8 is greater than 9000 and less than 9999 then the entry will be 35 rather than 30. Any other entry in D8 would leave it at 30

I am trying to make a chart based on the following values (for example) The X axis values are week numbers, the chart X axis must stop at Week 4, the data range still contains all these cells, but the chart will only show cells with values, If i'll put a value in Week 5, the chart will auto-expand itself to include week 5 too.

I have a spreadsheet with golfers handicaps, golfers names down the left in column A in rows 3-35. Row 2 has the event numbers titles 1 to 18 (18 events in a year). i need a graph that has the person as the vert axis and the horizontal axis needs to be the event numbers, so i can read down for the person and across to see how there handicaps change from each different event. i have attached the data below.

I have a set of data (assume 2 columns, one with a long name and the second with a time). The names contain variables that must be used as criteria (a single entry may contain "Blue" and "On"/"Off") and times vary, based on when the Name turns "On" or "Off" [in minutes: 25 (On), 47 (Off), 89 (On), 100 (Off) and 137 (On)]. I need to create another table that automatically inserts values for all times, to include the missing times (0 min thru 24 and 26 thru 46, etc.). EX: If the first entry is "Blue-On" at "25 minutes", the cells from 0 minutes to 24 minutes are each "0" and become a "1" at 25 minutes - the following cells are "1" until 47 minutes (where it is turned off). (1 and 0 represent "On" and "Off", respectively)
How can I created a formula to insert the correct numbers into the correct places? I'm willing to have multiple cells with formulas and simply hide the columns that are doing the calculations.

I have a cell set up with a formula to copy the content from another cell. However, the cell won't expand to fit the text. If you delete the formula and just type in the cell, it does expand. See attachment.

I have about 300 cells filled with different formula's like the ones written below.
=SUMPRODUCT(--('Book 1'!$B$1:$B$1000="H"),--('Book 1'!$C$1:$C$1000=D21),('Book 1'!$W$1:$W$1000))
=SUMPRODUCT(--('Book 1'!$B$1:$B$1000="H"),--('Book 1'!$D$1:$D$1000=I21),('Book 1'!$S$1:$S$1000))
Spreadsheet works great, but I've realized that I should have expanded beyond the 1st 1000 cells (example: $1000). One book 1, my data entry will extend beyond row 1000.
Is there a way I can replace all $1000's on the spreadsheet with say $3000 without having to correct each of the 300 cells separately?

When i click commandbutton1:
Copy Active cell (columnB), next cell (ColumnC), next cell (ColumnI), next cell (ColumnO) all of which exist in the same row.
I will then paste the values into another sheet in the next available row which i think i have mastered. the cells will be pasted next to each other i.e. instead of column B,C,I,O they will be pasted as column A,B,C,D.
My dilema is i am not sure if you can use multiple cell offsets to perform this or if it is better to use a loop.

I have some working code that makes a number of changes to an excel report using VBA. Each time I execute the code I am taken to a different point in the excel report (depending on user inputs). What I now need to do is to change the cell selection from a single cell to three cells.
For example, my code may result in cell B100 being the active cell. What I now want to do is change the selection from B100 to the range B100:B103. I would have thought I could write something simple like:
Sheets("Group").Range("ActiveCell:Offset(0, 2)").Select
I have tried every variation of the above but I can't seem to make it run. Where am I going wrong?

I have a spreadsheet with a master front page, which basically copies the contents of other cells in other sheets for it's own content. ie:-
the formula in cell E16 on the master sheet is ='Sheet 7'!$B$16 (Please note that cell B16 is actually a merged range of B16 to H16)
Everything works fine until such time as the orginal cell contains an amount of text which is deeper than the cell on the master page eg cell B16 on sheet 7 is 330 pixels deep while the cell E16 in the master sheet is only 16 pixels deep.
What I would like to happen is for row 16 in the master sheet to expand in depth by whatever is requried to automatically show the full content of B16 on sheet 7.

The goal of this chart is to show how sales are adding up relative to bonus levels for the month. The problem for me is in getting the right axis tick marks, labels and chart lines to match the values in Columns C and D. This need may be further complicated because the target amounts increase by a fixed percentage (11% in this sample, but it can vary).

I have data that starts from say, 17:50 hours. However, I would like the chart to start from 00:00 to 00:00 so it is a full 24-hour period. So up to 00:00 to 17:50 hours, it would be blank then the data will be plotted from 17:50. How do I do this? If I select the existing data from 17:50 and ask Excel to create a chart, the x axis starts from 17:50 (not 00:00).

The following code expands a cell width to size 42 when it is clicked on, then minimises it to size 9.29 when clicked elsewhere. Just what I need.
For instance, this would work for column 4.
VB:

Columns(4).ColumnWidth = IIf(Target.Column = 4, 42, 9.29)

However, I need this to cover the first 1000 columns. More if possible. I can easily copy this 1000 times, changing the column number to then look like this (First 10 shown for example)

Is there a way to limit the range of values on the Y-Axis on the lower end? Like I don't wish the Y-axis to begin from 0 but say 500. Is that possible?
I have a set of data values ranging from 650 - 850, but the Excel graph however looks too fine because the Y-axis begins from 0.

I would like to know how can I plot my x axis of a chart with the maximum and minimum value that I have in this variable. Note that my variable is no going from the lower value to the highes one, it is random. So what I did is to use the autoscale of the chart, but it is not working as I would like. Any solution?

I'm trying to plot a function with specific values marked on the X axis (or at least distributed according to the said values). Namely, I have something like this:
And while it does plot the Y's as I want them to be plotted, X'es are just used as labels, which causes 0 and 100 to be equally apart as 933,9 and 944. How can I plot it, then, so that I simply select my desired Y values, their corresponding X values and get the plotted function?

I've put together code to construct a chart
It all works fine but I've noticed an odd quirk which I can't explain nor can I seem to fix. Here's the (reduced) code :

The category (x) axis title should be horizontal, whereas the value (y) axis title should be rotated. Stepping through the code, when I .SetElement for the category axis title, it appears horizontal as planned. However, as soon as I .SetElement for the rotated value axis title, the category axis title also rotates.
