I have one workbook with 3 Sheets (Table1/Table2/Table3). In Table 3 are the following columns "Table1" and "Table2". I need one script which search in table1 and table2 the words from test1 to test15 and write the assign numbers in table 3 in the right columns / row! If one value is not found, this value should have the number 0 in table 3.
I have the following examples attached, file Mappe1_Test1.xlsx is the before status and Mappe1_Test.xlsx should be the after status.
I have two files, a workbook and a document, and both are macro-enabled files. The workbook is my main file for my project and the document is my template. The workbook is basically my database with vba program that populate data to Word document. My word document is a template that has macros saved in a module. Aside from populating the data, workbook also create formfields on to the document and assign macro (ExitMacro).
However, i'm getting Run-time error (4210): Bad parameter message when i try to assign the macro to formfields. I noticed that this happened when the macro was saved in the module of the document. The workbook program works fine if the document macro was saved in Normal.dot, which i don't want to do.
I'm trying to find a way to return a value (score) based on the results in a table. I've been trying to use index and matches but am starting to think this will not be the answer for this one.
In the example attached, I have a section called report. For each project, there are criterias which need to be scored based on the values in the lookup table.
For example, project 1 has a result of 200 for criteria 1. On the lookup table 200 in criteria 1 would receive a score of 2. This result is then populated in column L as the score of this criteria.
I am having trouble getting my IF statement to test if the cell contains the text "sale" return "X" if not "Y". I need it to search through the text string in that cell and find a certain word, and if it finds that word, retrn a value. I am really having difficulty with is what symbol or function do I use for the logical test? (i.e. =, <>, MATCH, INDEX?)
I use my spreadsheet to keep score during tournaments. when i calculate my leaderboard at the end of the event i list the results first place all the way down until it finishes the list of players. i need to be able find players with the same or equal score and list them as tied for the same place.

I have a schedule database the one I need to transform some cell values in time format. The thing is that I have the format as follows, and I was trying to set a macro to convert every "*" in 15 min value without succcess.
Example Associate below works as folllows: Sat 3:30 - 8:30 Mon: 4:00 - 8:00 Sun 2:30 - 5:45

I have a range of data on one worksheet that is pulled into a pivot table on another worksheet. Looking at the table below I would like to assign the values in the pivot table to a 1 if there is data. For example if any field is >0 I would like to assign it a 1. If not leave it blank. I tried using the formula function in the options tab but didn't have any luck.
Basically I have columns A and columns B. Column A contains a list of words Column B is blank. If a cell in column A contains a word like "univ", I want the number 1 to appear in the respective row in column 2. I have a few hundred word files that I'm porting tables from. I initially imported every table into excel and figured out which table numbers I needed the data from. I only needed certain rows/columns from certain tables.
The code I have works great....if all the word files were the exact same. However, it appears that when different people edited the word documents, for whatever reason, a handful out of the 300 had their tables switched. So in some cases I'm looking for table 5, other times it could be table 6.
My question: Is there a way to identify the tables by text they contain? for example, the table 5/table 6 comment above, in all cases That table has a header cell called "Equipment". Basically I need something like:
"If CurrentTable contains "Equipment" Then set tableNo = CurrentTable" but I'm not sure how to do that.
In the code below wdDoc is a specific word document. tableNo is the variable set to identify which table to import from. I end up pulling data from three different tables that I would need to search for, each with a specific header.

Is there a formula to find a specific word through many columns? Between A1 and L4500 i got a lot of diffrent information. I want to show if there is any cells in the row with the specific text, a formula in column M. Etc. If C100 got "topside" a notice in column M
=MID(M11,FIND($V$6,M11),LEN($V$6)) I use the formula above to return the the matching word in v6, from text within m11. If theres is no match it returns #value. is it possible when theres no match to return "Not Match" in the cell instead

I have codes (of three, four, or five digits) in Column A,names in column B, and names in column G.
The names in Column B and Column G are the same ones, but not in the same order, and they do not repeat exactly the same (e.g. I can have "Peter" in A10 and "Peter Jr." in A62, but not "Peter" and "Peter" again.
Each code belongs only to one name and never appears twice.
In K I want a formula that does the following:
K1: if the name in G1 is found anywhere in Column A, then bring the code that belongs to that name in G1.
(E.g.: If I have "Peter" in G1, and then "Peter" is found in B16 with the code "100" in A16, I want the code "100" of the A16, to come to K1).
