Force SaveAs As Cell Text & Date

I have a customised excel woorkbook that will be distributed to several locations with different computere systems, etc. I wanted to keep some convention with the naming, so I've put in a saveas routine to open the saveas dialog and change the default name. The user can then select the directory location and save the file.
Here's the

The problem is, when the save button is pressed in the saveas dialog, the dialog disappears and the the workbook doesn't save.

I have a formula as follows:
Code:
=TEXT(A1,"Mmm YY")
Where cell A1 contains a date, say 01/01/2014.
For me this returns "Jan 14." However, I have a colleague using a Spanish version of Windows/Excel and therefore it displays this in Spanish as "ene 14."
How can I force the formula to return the English spelling, Jan 14?

A form loads and the first thing the user is to do is enter a specific date in a text box (preferably in, "mm/dd/yyyy" format.)
Is there any way to set up the text box so that when the form loads, the, "/"'s (slashes) are already in place? And can I set it up so that if the user enters in the date in any other manner aside from, "mm/dd/yyyy", that it will give them an error?
Finally, I want the user's date input to store on a worksheet (in row, "G".) So the first time the user uses the form, they type in a date and it stores the date in the FIRST AVAILABLE CELL IN ROW, "G." (example: "G1") The next time they use the form and type in a date, it is to store in, "G2", then in, "G3", ect. Each time they fill out the form, the new entry is to save in the next row beneath the previous entry.....
For other text boxes and combo boxes I have been using the following code to do this:
Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A" & intRow) = Text.Value (or Combobox.Value - depending on whether it was a text box or a combo box.)
Unfortunately I have NO idea how to apply this logic in regards to text boxes that are to store dates.

I have saved an Excel file based on today’s date using: ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs "S:MTL_DATA Stock Orders" & "Stock_Order_" & oname & Format(Date, "dd-mm-yy") & ".xls"
If I wish to save a second file in the same day I wish to save as the date with “_1” or date with “_2” for the third file etc. How do I alter the above code?

I'd like to import some dates into some textboxes on a userform.
I'm also going to let the user edit these, however... what i'd like is for the user to be forced to:
1) enter a date in the format dd/mm/yy
2) Enter a valid date (eg, not feb 30th)

I have a text file I am importing and using text-to-colums.
Some of the text is "+TOL" "-TOL" and when excel converts to columns it is forcing the text to a formula "=+Tol" "=-Tol" giving me #NAME? in those cells.
I can format the cells as text, which is fine for now since I'm using VBA, but if I need to use any formulas then I'm SOL...

So I have a Workbook that I want to make read-only/protect after a certain date. I also want to force the user to have macros enabled. So far I have the following script, but despite changing it to read-only it doesn't seem to do anything. I have also tried to enable protection on the sheets after that date, but am getting errors.

The code below first asks a user to input a weekending date (which must be a Saturday). The value of the input box goes to cell C1 of my spreadsheet. That part works fine. I also have a function in Cell G1 with the function:
=TEXT(C1, "dddd")
I don't know if this is the best way to test for a Saturday but it is what I have,
Where is goes bad is if the date is not a Saturday. I have a loop to force a new date install via a input box but it won't update C1 with the inputed data to recheck for the Saturday value. Below is the whole code I am working with...

To ensure correct data entry, I need to ensure that the filled cells in a column are always in Uppercase for example, irrespective of whether they are typed in upper or lower case.

I am using a MID fn to extract a single digit from a numeric string. I then use an IF Function to return a value based on the extracted digit. My IF statement works fine on manually entered digits but doesn't recognize my MID fn result. What am I missing?

Is it possible to make a spreadsheet so that everything that is typed into it is in CAPITALS? I have a need for that for a spreadsheet that I am using at work, but I remembered that in the title box above it only capitlaizes the first letter. I thought if it can do it with the first letter can Excel do it with all of the letters.

I am trying to use a cell reference to have excel automatically Save a worksheet using a cell reference as the workbook name. When I step through the code and use the immediate window I get the correct name for the file (fname in this case) but as soon as Excel tries to save the file, I get an error.
Here is the code I am using:

I am using Excel 2013. Anyway, the first issue is that I need to pull a date and a time period from text. So, for example, if I see something like Sunday Prime Time 7/6/14 8:37PM, I would want to pull ONLY the "7/6/14 8:37PM" out of it. Each text box could potentially be different, so it might not always be in the same format as "Sunday Prime Time 7/6/14 8:37PM" it might only show just the date and/or the time without all the extra text i.e. 7/6/14 8:37PM. Some of the cells will have text, others might only have just the time or even just the date and the time. The only thing that I am worrying about in each cell is extracting just the date and time. If this is too much to ask of excel, I would be ok with extracting ONLY the time - 8:37PM and not the date, but I would much rather be able to get both the time and date.
THEN, onto part two of my question. After I would pull the dates and times, I need to compare them with each other. So, when I have the same date with two separate times on that date, I need to write a formula to show if those times on that date are less than 30 minutes apart. So, if I have 6 times on 7/6/14, I need to know if any of them are less than 30 minutes apart.
I would need to have the formula say something like "Problem" if the times on 7/6/14 would be 5:30PM, 5:48PM, 7:00PM, 8:00PM, 8:15PM, and 9:00Pm for example. I would like to see the word "Problem" since 5:30PM and 5:48Pm is only 18 minutes apart, and "Problem" after 8:15PM since that is only 15 minutes past the 8:00PM which is obviously under 30 minutes. The times that are more than 30 minutes apart such as 7:00PM and 9:00PM for example are more than 30 minutes apart from any of the other times that were extracted.

I have many shortcut words to make full name using Auto Correct option under Proofing

Then the cell value is going in uppercase "IP" but auto correction is not working

I have an Excel sheet which serves as an input form. I would like to set something up where if the user inputs any value into the cell range B12:B100 then they are forced to also enter a value in column J of that same row.
Maybe something could be done where if they enter a value in B12, then they cannot enter a value in B13 before entering a value in cell J12?

I have this running and Section A is working but Section B is not. I basically want it so that if conditions a, b, and c occur, excel pops up with that messagebox.
Condition A: Cells(8, 3) changes via formula referencing an outside cell
Condition B: The new value of Cells(8,3) is a numeric value.
Condition C: The change in it's value is not more than a given threshold
change as defined in Cells(8, 13)
why the second section is not popping up with a msgbox when the value of Cells(8, 3) changes.

I have forced the tab order of sheet. Unlike the example with the link, I have used named ranges instead of cell references in the array to order the tab sequence. (the named range are single cells and merged cells)

Just like the author of the link, the sequencing works great but if I choose click on another cell (that is in the pre-determined sequence) it then takes me to the next pre-determined cell int he sequence.
I have tried the code the "shg" has suggested for merged cells to no avail. Maybe it has something to do with the name ranges.

I have a spreadsheet that I add to daily with 3 Columns that are always the same. Name, ID number and Phone Number.
Is there a way to make it so that when other people in my department use this that no matter how they enter the name, it is always formatted the same. No matter they enter the ID number and phone number they are always formatted the same. I've tried some variations of data validation but couldn't get to where I need to be.
Attached is a simple example.
I'd like the name to always be formatted as Smith, Bob
I'd like the ID Number to always be formatted as xxx xx xxx
I'd like the Phone Number to always be formatted as xxx xxx xxxx

I found the following code which works fine until I start to select multiple cells in cell B for deletion etc. At this point it throws up a run-time error 13 type mismatch, which will cause problems when other people start to use the spreadsheet.

I need to force our salespeople to enter information in a cell based on a condition. This is the condition: If I5=3, then I need to move the user to cell I3 with a message that says "Enter miles to site" -- I don't want them to be able to move from the cell until they enter the information. If I5 does not equal 3, then I don't need anything to occur. I need to apply this code to four separate worksheets in the same workbook. Also, they will be entering a number in cell I3, so is okay to leave I3 formatted for Number or General Number? How can I add a date stamp that will populate a field when text is entered into another cell but will not change every time I re-open the sheet. I have been using =if(B4="",NOW()) which changes each time though and as soon as text is entered it disappears. I want to capture the actual date that someone enters text into a cell and save that date in another cell???

Currently using LEN to simply count 50 characters then it tells the user that they need to move onto the next line.
Is it possible with VBA that after 50 characters reached in the selected cell it forces the user into the next cell below and so on in a loop?

I want to enter the word 'Closed' in cell B1 when the due date in cell A1 is exceeded by 272 days. I have tried using conditional formatting and excel accepts the formula but nothing seems to happen. Here is what I have tried;
