Formula to pull the lowest number that falls in Cells I2:L2 and the number must be 0 or Greater. Some of the numbers might be negatives and I am trying not to pull those numbers.

I'm holding a Reverse Auction where people pay a dollar to place a bid, BUT the twist is they are giving me a number that they how will be the lowest number but it has to be the only occurrence of that number (greater than 0).
During the party people can guess as much as they want to pay. I think i'll use a spreadsheet with their names in column A and go out in the row with however many cells for how many numbers they guess (so there would be blank cells in the overall range of the whole list if one guy buys 10 numbers and another only 1, for example).
So, i need a cell at the bottom that tells me the lowest number that wasn't guessed more than one time.
I've found how to FIND duplicates and the lowest number but i don't know how to write it so that it discards the duplicates.
need to understand the easiest way of highlighting the highest and lowest number in a range of cells several times in the same column.
As I said the cell range will be in the same column. So highlight the highest number green and lowest number red in cells a3 to a9 and then repeat the same process again in cells a11 to a17 and so on.the cell references are an example.

I have WorkbookA that pull numbers from WorkbookB. In Cell D2 of WorkbookA is the name of WorkbookB. The data to be pulled from WorkbookB is in Cells H364 through S364, H being data for January and S being data for December. In January, the data from Cell H364 is pulled into WorkbookA. In February, the data from Cell I364 is pulled into WorkbookA, and so on.
The formula can be written such that, based on WorkbookA indicating in Cell B14 the current month, each month pulls the correct month's data from these cells in WorkbookB.

I've tried using COUNTIF but that only adds the individual values, it doesn't 'start from zero again' when a zero value appears.

I am trying to create a formula to pull the person's name and the avg number of cartons sorted for the month from this spreadsheet.
I've attached a sample of the spreadsheet I created, you will see at the bottom I would like to see the person that had the highest avg for the month and the person with the lowest avg for the month.
This is just a simple spreadsheet to track productivity of my sortation employees.
Sheet 2 contains the following:
Column AH2:AH367 represents the current year and contains values from Jan 1 to Dec 31 inclusive, some of which are zero and future values are blank.
Column AG2:AG367 represents last year and contains the same and all cells have a value (some are zero).
The date column is A2:A367 (the columns in between are all the years prior to 2013).
I need a formula that counts the total number of cells with a value greater than zero for the range AG2:AG367 up to and including today's date to be returned in cell A1 of Sheet 1.
What formula or function truncates a text field that is in the following consistent format:

I wish to truncate the field so I have just the integer without the dot, space or word(s).
Tried Len, Left & Replace but they require a specific number of characters. Since the number can be 1 to 3 digits long, this doesn't work.
I have a column of numbers each have a 0. infront of them (example 0.2346
0.5698). I want to pull the number from the right until it hits the decimal sign. So for the two above the result would be 2346 and 5698
So I've got a vertical list of dates in M/D/YYYY format, and I'm trying to come up with a method to pull certain dates that are greater than a given benchmark and paste those values in another column. For instance, if I've got a list with 3/3/2008, 5/5/2010, 6/6/2011, and 7/7/2012 I want to pull only the dates beyond 12/31/2010 (so would be the 6/6 and 7/7 ones).
I'm assuming this isn't doable with one formula, so I would need a macro. But I'm having trouble just even coming up with the logical operator for just one date. I must be doing something wrong here. If my date in B2 is 1/1/2009 and I have a formula as IF(B2>12/31/2009,"True","False"), I just get TRUE, which shouldn't be the case.
I am trying to have my spreadsheet pull data from one tab and cell if they match another.
Tab "Ag Orders" column H, I enter data in lets say cell H37. Whatever I enter, if it matches tab "reference List" C:C, then "ag orders" column G (specifically G37) should enter the data in "reference List" D:D
So since in H37 I entered 34000 - 314620, G37 should pull in Farm Operations since on the referene list tab that string of numbers (C11 matches up with D11)
a little confusing but I hope it makes sense.

I am adding the amounts for Food (Column B), Liquor (Column C), Wine (Column D), Beer (Column E), and Taxes ( Column F) for a total in Column G.
However, Column G is only for credit card totals and I want to do the same calculations for cash totals (Column J) using the same B through F Column without those numbers being plugged back into Column G, when I have no credit card total.

I have three columns with 1 number in each row. I'm trying to find a number, and if that number does not exist in the 3 columns I would like to find the next smaller number. The numbers have up to 4 decimal places. i.e. 16140.0311.
So for example if a user searches for 15950.012, and that does not exist but 15950.009 does with no numbers in between then the answer returned would be 15950.009. I have 18 columns of numbers, I need to figure out how to highlight the lowest number in each column, only if it is a unique value... in other words, only if it doesn't match any other number in that column. I'd also like that number somehow paired up with it's row's indentifier and put somewhere in a report.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI want to use the Small function on a set of cells that are non-contiguous. But I know that the Small function only works on an array, which cannot contain cell references. Copying the cells to a contiguous range is not an option, as some of the cells I want referenced are generated on the fly in a Sumproduct function. Is there some alternative I could use? I can use the Min function to get the lowest value, as it allows for references, and the Max function to get the greatest, but what about those in between?
