Graph Based On Selected Numerical Data

Need the code to make a graph (bar diagram) based on the only the rows with numerical data in a column, where there is also blanks and NA. The graph I would like to make and the data-structure are shown in the file Graphs.xls. When updating the graph later on the cells with data may have changed (i.e. new rows with data may have been added)

From I51 :R51 are the skips of each digit contain in the combination from C51:G51 meaning that the combination : 7 8 47 51 52 is composed with the digits 1 2 4 5 7 8 those digits have their own column with their skips in it, and I would like starting in cell T51 and dragging to the right the skip of only those digits and in a numerical order.

I am quite inexperienced with Excel and I am struggling to understand how should I set up a formula, within the data validation function to achieve the following:
I need to restrict a certain set of cells, for people to be able to input only the following values: "1", "0.5", "A", "H", "0.5A" (or 0.5a), "0.5H" (or 0.5h)
And I would need the data validation tool not to include blank cells.

I'm having issues with Excel's 2010 conditional formatting. Seems easy to use, but I'm trying to highlight values based on 2 columns of numerical data. Example:
Column F:
6
6
14
Column L:
3
NA
17
I would like Column L to highlight values that are greater than Column F in green. If they are less than Column L then highlight them in red.
Seems I was able to do this with Excel 2003, but I don't understand the 2010 version.

In excel, I have column A - the time stamp, and column B, the sale. Note that each sale has its own unique time stamp.

I am trying to get excel to search a workbook/(or worksheet if easier) for a matching unique value and fill in its associated data. My first workbook has the SKU (A) filled in but not the UPC (B). My second workbook has both the SKU (A) and the matching UPC (C) filled in.
I need to take both workbooks/(worksheets), compare the SKUs, and if a matching SKU is found, extract the UPC from Workbook 2 and fill in the UPC field in Workbook 1, and if no UPC is present in Workbook 2, then it leaves the cell in Workbook 1 blank.

I have an XY plot where the source X value data is a series of time values, each associated with a descriptive text cell. I would like to select a single point (obviously by mouse) and then execute a macro (right click preferred but a separate command button would be a suitable substitute for now) that will extract the X-value. I then plan to use that value to find within the source data the associated descriptive text cell and make a data label from that text. No clue where to start...the macro recorder is woefully deficient in this area.

I have several worksheets with thousands rows (independent variables) and hundreds columns (all dependent variables). Each line basically gives me hundreds values for each independent variable - see below:

I need to know how the values in each row are distributed, and I ideally plot a 2D column graph of the distribution. Is there a way to do that and create/program a macro (with relative button on the workboook) that does it automatically once clicked?
Very often there are outlying values (bigger or smaller by a factor of 1000 or even more), mistakes, which I would like to identify and fix possibly.

I have attached a sample file.
There are two sheets Stock and BrancnID The stock sheet has a very huge date ( approx 30000 ). The Stock Id of all the records are unique. Every day I get the Stock ID numbers only in excel format from different branches. Every day I have to match the ID numbers received and delete its data in the Stock sheet ( to get an idea I have shown this in sheet3 ).
Is there is any code where I copy paste the ID numbers from the varoius excel sheets into my excel file in the BranchID sheet and the data gets deleted. i.e as I paste the data the record gets deleted but not the Stock ID number. Also the next day when I get new ID numbers and I delete the old ID numbers from the BranchID sheet the data should not re-appear in the Stock sheet.

An integer in stored in Sheet1!A1. I want a formula in Sheet1!A2 to display data of sheetx!A3 where x is the number chosen in Sheet1!A1.
e.g. Sheet1!A1 store 3. Then Sheet1!A2 will display Sheet3!A3.

I am have a spread sheet (sheet 1) with a number of columns and what i am looking to do is see all the people that are participating in a certain stage in the process that is not common, So what i am wanting to do is copy the names and the corresponding number of these people (on sheet1) over to a new worksheet(sheet2) based on a yes or no criteria further on in the spread sheet(sheet1). sheet 2 has additional columns that the workers here would need to fill in.
The criteria is in sheet 1 cells Y2:Y2000
The number is in sheet 1 cells D2:d2000
The names are in sheet 1 cells E2:e2000
If its at all possible i would also like to then make the names of those people on sheet 1 a hyperlink to the additional information

I want a table to display data based on which month i select from a drop-down list, the data is of course extracted from a different table. For example, in my final table( highlighted in yellow), i want to display the revenues, cost of goods sold..etc of April in this table when i choose April from the drop-down list, the data of the entire year is located in another table that i plan to hide, as we only need to review one month.

I have a list of names and prices as shown in two columns as a master list:
Apple and Lime 3,5

Chamomile Flowers 2,5
Chamomile Lemongrass3,5
Chilli mint 3,5
(the list is a lot longer than this!)
I have created a pick list using data validation to pick any of the names to insert elsewhere in the spread sheet. How can i get the next cell adjacent to this name to search and input the corresponding price?

I have a workbook that has three worksheets. The ASU Database sheet contains part numbers and descriptions including specific details that are selected from pull down data validation lists that are named on the third worksheet. I want to have a front end on the first worksheet that has similar data validation lists for the user to select from to create a search criteria that will create a worksheet with only the rows that meet this criteria. I am not sure what method to use to accomplish this.

I'm trying to copy data from one sheet to another sheet automatically based on a number selected in a drop down control.
I have used OFFSET to pull some information successfully from a list. This is easy for me to do with single entries and a list and has worked well. I want to do similar but with a dataset not just single cells.
But, I can't seem to make OFFSET work to show a set of data easily.
Perhaps I will need VB code to do so? Or there is another control I'm not aware of? I've done very little with VB.
I'll attach a sample file to try to show better what I'm trying to do.

I am trying to do is a summary of numerical values, based on several conditions.
column a column b column c
local loop live cross connect
loop A cancel 100
long haul live 10000
long haul pend canc 1000
loop Z live 100
x-conn live cross connect
In column a, i have several choices and i want to focus on those choices that fall into column B "live" or "pend canc" and then only have numerical data in column C
I've tried several different formulas like
=SUMPRODUCT((a30:a38="Loop A")*(a30:a38="Long Haul")+(b30:b38="Live"),cX30:cX38)
I know the result of this should be 111000 but it's not working...I usually get n/a. I know about using cntl-shift-enter to use the formula properly.
I can get one variable to sum up properly using =SUMIF(M9:M21,"Live",BW9:BW21)
but, that leaves out anything that is pend-canc
I have also tried =SUM(IF((a9:a21="long haul")*(b9:b21="live"),cX9:cX21)) which gives back a value that is accurate.....

I have attached the worksheet i am currently working on -snapshot of a 2.9 mb file :-).
I have a table i need the information compressed based on the values being greater than '0'. The original table Column A-E runs down 15000 rows but i am only interested in the values that are greater than '0'. I would like to see G3 to contain the first cell from A to contain a value greater than 0, G4 to contain the next sell with a value greater than 0 -- so on and so on.
This method will apply to columns G-K, their may be another formula that i am unfamiliar with that will get this to work.
I have already tried to play around with INDEX and MATCH, i think i am on the correct path but i am not looking at something the right way.

What I am trying to do is have a drop down list in one cell and have the next cell bring in the correct price for the item in the first cell. Sounds fairly easy? Well both lists are 200 items.
I have been trying to do this with just three items so far. On sheet two, I have created two lists. The first list in column A contains dogs, cats, mice. The second list in column B contains 1, 2, 3. On sheet one, I have created the drop down list for the animals in the A12 cell. I would like for B12 to auto populate the corresponding number to the animal without having to create an if formula for each animal and number.

I have a single column of numerical values that may repeat many times within
the column.
I require a flexible Formula:
Use an Input Cell for the specified and changeable Percentage(s) %.
Column may be filtered – so only take into account Visible Filtered Cells.
The Formula will calculate and Return the numerical range of values that fall
between the specified percentage % (using the Input Cell) e.g.; 70%.
The Formula should Return two numeric values: a Start Value and an End Value
– NOT necessarily the minimum and maximum per se BUT the MIN and MAX of the
values that appear 70% of the time in the column; therefore, taking into
account Repeat / Duplicate values.
The calculated Results: the two numeric values will be returned to separate
cells on a new Sheet.

This should be easy but after searching "consolidate" all that I could find was multiple sheets and complex questions.
I have 5 data columns that I need consolidated into 1 single column. I've tried the consolidate funtion but it appears to only work with formulas and numerical values (unless I cant find the proper command.) I've also tried paste special but it populates the cells following.

I need to create a table of non numerical data that I can refer to in a formula, which will compare two pieces of data (both also inside this table), and based upon which is "higher up in the hierarchy" - the cell will display a certain result.
Basically it will be an IF function using non numerical data that has a numerical value / "rank" attached.
Specifically - I need to allocate values to this list in cells A1:A5...
EUR
GBP
AUD
NZD
USD
....where EUR is highest ranked and USD lowest.
Then in column B and C will be listed each of these values but in various combinations. In column D I will build simple IF functions to show the highest ranked in each combination. eg B1=EUR C1=GBP D1=IF(B1>C1,B1,C1)

Need to sort my data in column A which contains a long list of numerical data. To do this manually using copy and paste would be easy, but not viable because of the large amount of data.
The attached PDF file illustrates the data. I wish to replace each date of dirth entry in column A (one D.O.B. in each cell / row, expressed as YYYYMMDD) with the client identifier number (format 937XXXX) a couple of cells above. And at the same time delete the row containing the client reference (or its contents). The data in column A should retain the same relationship to the data in the other columns (B,C). it may require a short piece of VBA code.

What would cause a pivot table to turn numerical data into a letter?
I have a field, cost center, that has about 15 different possible values in it that look like this: 141350, 141360, 141370, 141380, etc. When I compile the data into a pivot table and try to sort on pivot table everything looks normal, except that 141350 is returned as 'R'. If I change the value to anything else, it is fine, but as 141350 it's changes from numerical formating to a single letter.
I'm sure something was accidentally set to do that automatically.
