Graphs / Charts Generation Automatically In Excel?

I want to prepare a graph / chart for the column A and column B. Column A has headers and B has the data that I want to represent in the graphs. The real problem in this is that the two columns length is not fixed. For eg. for January Column A & B could have 5 rows of data but for February they could have 10 rows of data. I dont want to prepare the chart manually every month. I want that if we could apply any VBA coomands that could prepare the chart automatically irrespective of the rows count.

I am using Excel 2010 to create a simple chart. When I enter the information, highlight it and select a chart, the chart area appears blank. It doesn't matter what kind of chart I choose- it still appears blank. I've tried going into the Advanced options and indicating for All objects to be shown and that didn't work.

I've been using a VBA code to look through my spreadsheet and find any graphs in any tab and move it to powerpoint. I have about 70 tabs with 7 graphs each.
I have is that the order of the graphs in the slidepack isn't in the same as found on each excel tab.I also tried renaming them (chart1-chart7) but problem still remains.

I'd like to put a spinner button on a chart that will change the x-axis date range. The data is in day/month/year format, but ideally I'd like to have the spinner button move in 1 year increments. The most recent date should always be present and changes should just impact how far back in history to go. I have basically no experience with vba coding, so please be as thorough and simple with your responses/solutions.

I have an excel sheet populated with loads of values. There is a space between each set of data. I need to draw a graph for each section and i cant work out how to do it. I have attached the sheet in question. The gap between each column has "space" written on row, which is needed to prevent it being deleted. The drawing of the graphs needs to be automated as there is going to be 100's of sheets containg lots of data. The column size of each section can change so it needs to be dynamic. I want the 2 graphs in "Graph" worksheet to change automatically when a row is inserted in "Data" worksheet . Every time i have to change the graph manually to contain the latest 20 days value. I want some offset or something which can be put in the range provided below to do the work.
Chart Data Range =Data!$A$1:$A$22,Data!$F$1:$F$2,Data!$L$1:$L$20
Legend entries (Series) - Series Name =Data!$F$1 ( this will remain constant everyday as this is a header field)
Series Values =Data!$F$2:$F$22 ( this should contain last 20 days range, for example if a next row is inserted tomorrow then it should automatically change to =Data!$F$3:$F$23)

I have a number of tables which I update on a weekly basis and I've created a number of graphs based on these values, but I only want the graphs to show the previous full months complete data rather than the most recent update. Also, I'd like the graphs to automatically update from the table at the start of each month for the preceding months complete data without me having to re-select the data range each month.

I'm using Excel to create a flowchart from a configuration sheet. I'm not manually entering the coordinates. Instead, I draw the start step in a set location. The next step(s) that's connected to the first step is placed directly below the start step. if there's more than one step connected to the start step, it's placed at the same y-coordinate but shifted along the x-axis.
The problem I'm running into here is this: say I have three steps connected to the start step and three further steps connected to the first of the three connected to the start step, how can I keep track of this and shift the other two steps connected to the start step along the x-axis so they're not positioned above the four steps below the first step (and as such, in the same location as other steps)? I'm not sure if my description is particularly clear or not so I've attached a drawing that will hopefully clear things up.
Is there any way of giving Excel shapes a "weight" so that other shapes won't line up on top of them?

I have a worksheet containing 16 chart objects. The source data for each of these charts is located on various other worksheets (all within the one workbook however). Whenever I change data on my Data Input worksheet, the source data is correctly being recalculated, however, the associated charts aren't changing.
The only two ways I can get the charts to update are: (1) save and re-open the file (saving doesn't fix it but re-opeing the file appears to do a full recalculation which then correctly updates the charts); or (2) click on each of the charts individually, go to Source Data and re-accept the data range that is already in there.
I've used the following VBA on my Data Input worksheet to try to do a full spreadsheet recalculation every time I deactivate it but this doesn't solve the problem either.

I've also tried CalculateFull and just Calculate in the VBA but to no avail.
My calculation is set to automatic.
I don't know if its relevant or not but this spreadsheet uses a custom worksheet function to derive some of the source data. I've never come across this problem before. Does anyone have any ideas on why its doing this and more importantly how to fix it?

i have attached a sheet where I have 4 graphs on one sheet. I prefer this to an overlay. I would like to add a 5th graph but it would make all the the graphs too small. Is there a way to make the graph background longer. For instance, extend the length of this so that I can put multiple graphs on it and then just scroll from top to bottom to review them? Also, how do I copy and paste these individual graphs into a newly created graph. copy/paste doesn't work on these?

I have a quite big database as a result of a study in Excel 2010. There is a special block of data for every participant in the study, including 16 data series in 16 lines. I have to make a unique chart for every line.
One block is bulid up in a way, that every row is the input for a chart, with the exception of one "spacer" row, which is empty.

A
B
C
D
E
F
For example in the sample above, there should be 6 line-charts (A, B, C, D, E, F) next to the block.
Can a macro be written, so I can automatically create the chart-set by selecting the block's upper left cell and running the macro? Or is there any easier method?

I have just been asked to update a file on a quarterly basis which contains a large number of charts based on the performance of various funds against their respective benchmarks. In column A I have dates going back to 2008 and then the fund and benchmark figures in the next columns. Each quarter there will be a need to update the charts to the new rolling 3 year period, i.e. in October when I update the file, the charts will need to show the results from 30.09.09 to 31.09.12
As there are 20 charts this can be quite time consuming? The charts sit on the same tab as the data, under the columns at the bottom.

Produce a chart (not a problem) that can be updated should the length of the X and Y data change?
This may not even need to be a macro, if it is possible to have a chart whose X and Y axis updates depending on the contents of a column?
If you search through the history of even this forum you will see quite a lot of people are looking for this solution.

I am currently working through data received from several experimental runs I have done for my masters studies (In chemical engineering). I need to create a chart for every experiment but coding the macro to do that has been near impossible. I have the file with the first graph drawn but I dont know how to post it.
I know it will be possible to draw every chart by hand but I am waiting on another 300+ data sets and then the amount becomes crazy.

I have an excel that gets updated monthly for reporting. The goal is to get the graphs to update automatically by linking them from excel into power point. This is relatively easy but what when I go to update the report for the next month the data for the old power point changes as well. Is there a way to prevent this?

I am trying to create two vertical axis bar graphs with the Primary axis for period Q1 to Q4 and the secondary axis for FY. I have attached what I have done so far and have successfully converted all but one FY bar graph to secondary axis. Once I try to select the last one (dark gray bar called "2011 FY" on the very far right), the FY bars disappears.
My main purpose is to get both Q1-Q4 & FY on the same graph and the reason I plotted FY on the secondary axis is because I didn't want the FY $ scale to massively skew the entire graph.

I have a perfectly working pivot table and I would like to make some graphs based on the report filter. My report filter has 4 categories, with each more than 10 sublevels.
When I make one pivot graph/chart, this goes fine, the data is ok, and I am happy. But one I make a second, and thus adjust the report filter, the first graphs changes according to the filter. I dont want that to happen
Ultimately I would like a powerpoint presentation with multiple charts, based on one table, with different report filter filters. Updated ONLY on the values, not the filter.

I have a simple reporting sheet where the data for orders place is in one sheet and on the other sheet is an imput box for 'date' and it filters through and presents a table of data and two graphs for the date chosen.
I give a daily report (contents of this sheet) but I also need to leave this sheet available for anyone to open and change to another date.
I want to copy the repor sheet into a new one and email but I want the graphs to remain, not go blank when anyone changes the original sheet.

I have to enter data into a spreadsheet daily and update a line graph with the data for 10 different production machines. I want to place the charts on their own separate excel file that way they can be easily viewed without the data next to them. I tried copying and pasting the graphs to another excel spreadsheet, but when I update the graphs on the original excel file the data does not change on the one I copied the graphs to. I use the select data range option to update the line graph data. Basically, I just want both graphs to update at the same time on both spreadsheets, but the links don't seem to update. How would I link the graphs so that both update across files?

I've got quite of few excel charts to make and have been looking for a way to automate the process. The chart types include line, pie, and bar. Basically, I have data for each state in the US that I am comparing with national level data. Thus each chart will have national level data and the data for each state. What I need is a macro that I can easily change the parameters for because different worksheets have slightly different layouts. I started by using the macro recorder to make a chart. Then I attempted to edit it so that it would run loops to make additional charts. Below is some sample data for the first worksheet I have and my attempted macro.
