How To Match Number Strings In Cell Contents

I have a spreadsheet with 60k lines. One of the columns contains barcodes as per the example below, with a suffix of -XXX-XXX where the XXX are numbers. I want to highlight all the cells where the -XX-XX are the same number (as in the example below -303-303) how I can do this with a formula as I've around 30 spreadsheets each with 60,000 lines I need to sort through?

I have a SS with 700 rows. 2 columns (Col K and L) may or may not contain text in their cells. If the cells do have text, I want to check for the presence of keywords which could be anywhere within the text, and if I find match write the matching word in Column I. Example: I want to seach for the following strings Loaned, injured, suspended etc ... in the range the K4-K700. Lets say Cell K50 contains the text Injured - broken bones. As the word injured is a match I want to write the word injured to cell I50 In addition if Cell K50 has text and Cell L50 does not, i want to put the text "NEW" in I50, and the reverse if Cell L50 has text and Cell K50 does not i want to put the text "recovered" in I 50. Following formula (in each cell in Col I) does this job currently. Can't figure out how to redo this in VBA, and wondering if checking the 700 rows will cause Vba to be slower.

I am attempting to count up the sum of names that will be submitted, through a web form, in a single cell.
Example:
Cell B1 will have a bunch of names submitted to it. let's say 10: Marino, Elway, Namath, Montana, Manning, Brady, Romo, Bradshaw, Favre, Aikman. (these text strings will be all in one single cell)
I will have a list of names that are correct to compare to: Montana, Brady, Bradshaw, Manning. I can put those in its own cell to compare to. (C1)
How do i get the sum of 4 from B1 cell? If B1 only has 3 of the 10, how would it return the sum of 3?
Example:
A1 B1 (Submitted cell) C1 (List to compare to "right answers") D1 (sum from B1 compared to C1)
user 1 Marino, Elway, Namath, Montana, Manning, Brady, Romo, Bradshaw, Favre, Aikman Montana, Brady, Bradshaw, Manning 4
user 2 Marino, Elway, Namath, Montana, Manning, Brady, Favre, Aikman 3
This is I am sure a very newbie question, but I couldn't find anything on multiple text strings within one cell, and counting a sum of those.

I have 2 inventory reports: what my store has and what my supplier has. I need to copy Tab1:K# to Tab2:T# provided that Tab1:A#'s contents match Tab2:A#'s contents. The A column represents the SKU of the item, but there is a difference in the amount of SKU's in each (my store sells ~6,000 items, supplier has ~10,000 items), so it's not as simple as sort by column A and copy pasting column K to column T.
For instance:
On Tab 1, A2's value is [1], K2's value is [9.38].
On Tab 2, A70's value is [1], K70's value is blank, but I need it to be [9.38], to match Tab 1's respective SKU.
I almost thought I had it figured out with VLOOKUP, but I cant seem to get it right... It doesn't reference the correct number.

Setup: I have 2 worksheets with between 8 and 9,000 rows on each
Column A in both worksheets Sheet1 and Sheet2 have an email address in them.
Not all addresses in sheet1 will be on sheet2 and visa versa
Column J on Sheet 2 contains a date
What I need: Column M on Sheet1 is empty
I need a formula to place into Column M on Sheet1 that will
Look at Sheet1:A
Locate the corresponding value on Sheet2:A
Pull the date from Sheet2:J same row into Sheet1:M

Userform that people use. I need validating the users input into the form.
1. Need to validate that A1 only has 3 letters (Alpha)
2. Need to validate that A2 is not left blank
3. Need to validate A3 has only 10 digits
My state is that when the user hits the submit button in the user form the macro checks for these validations above and if everything is ok emails the sheet. However if the user havent inputed the data correctly a msg box will pop to let them know what is wrong. If thats the case i do not want the sheet emailed. below is the email code i'm using

How can I modify the following formula to find the contents of reference cell, for example if the cell reference (G$3) is equal to 9 I want it to use 8 instead.

I am new to VBA and am having difficulties in getting a find function to successfully locate search criteria within cell. When the search criteria matches exactly that of the cell contents then the code works; however should the search criteria only form part of the total cell contents (such as a seach for "the" in a cell containing "the cat sat on the mat") the code doesn't recognise it.
Essentially, I need the code to search a range for the required string and if found within a cell activate that cell and populate a combobox with the full cell contents of the activecell.offset(0,-2).

I have been trying to format the rows on this sheet to color scale red based on the number of repeat text strings in Column E. Referring to the attached example sheet, '321/312.2/321.3' appears the most times and the goal is to color code the rows it appears in the deepest shade of red, then the next highest occurring string would shade the rows it appears in a lighter shade, etc, in descending order. Our team currently does this across multiple sheets manually everyday and it would be a real time saver if we could get excel to do this automatically.

in two seperate worksheet i download external data from 2 different website with some stats about teams. Problem is that theses websites user slighty different names for the teams ie. it will be man city from one source and manchester city from another. i need to somehow get the names to match up is there an easy way to do this?

I want to create a formula that will refer to the cell I want by adding a number to the cell reference, not to the contents of the cell. For example, lets say that the cell C11 holds a value of 22. I want to add 4 to C11 to get my formula to reference cell C15, I don't want it to add 4 to the contents of C11 which is 22 and would give me a result of 26. I have a large spreadsheet and I can't just fill down the way I have it now and I don't want to have to retype the formula every time.

I am trying to match some strings, to see if an entry is already included in a master list or not. I'm running into problems with some cells that have the EXACT same string, from what I can tell (a text ticker symbol) yet a MATCH or VLOOKUP won't return anything. Has anyone ever encountered anything like this? Worksheet attached with an example

In Column B of the second sheet (Data) of the attached file, I want to bring back the relevant name form the first sheet (List), which involves searching through the long descriptions from column A on the Data sheet for the name on the List sheet.

finding or developing a compressing technique, which can compress a 7 number string i.e., 11,10,1,2,10,7,5 down to 6 or 5 lossless, that would be amazing.
I already researched many compression technique; Huffman, Run-Length and LZ78 which all do well on large data sets and I only have a few numbers. If it helps by converting the numbers to binary for better compression then I what to known. I know that a solution could be impossible as we would know about it already but may be someone knows a trick to get rid of one digit.

On sheet1, I have numbers and names. These names are also contained in Comments on sheet2, and i would like a function in Column M that matches the numbers with the names in the comments. Cell M1 I have manually filled for demonstration purposes.

I am trying to acccess a cell value from a seperate worksheet. The cell reference needs to be generated by a seperate formula. In this example
=DSInfo!C28 // provides the correct result i.e the contents of cell C28 on worsheet DSInfo =MATCH(A4,DSInfo!C1:C35,0) //provides the correct row number - in this case 28
However on trying to combine the two =DSInfo!C&MATCH(A4,DSInfo!C1:C35,0) // provides only a formula error. I'm guessing this is a simple syntax error on my part but after hours of trying various ways I'm still having no luck.

I have two numbers, they are version numbers, I am having problems with my If then else and elseif statements.
59821 for version 5.9.8.2.1
is more than
5983 for version 5.9.8.3
even though 5.9.8.3 is a greater version number. Do you see where my problem is. How do I compare # by # reading it, checking to see what one is bigger and going from there. so when it gets to the 3 of the 5983 its bigger than 2 of 5982 of the 5.9.8.2.1

In column A and B I have text representing an Entity and its Intercompany,
respectively. In column C I have concatenated the two. So now in Column C,
for example, I have "BillTom" in row 1 and "TomBill" in row 900.
I need Excel to convert the text into some sort of code, ASCII or number
that shows they are EQUAL. I need something that shows "TomBill" and
"BillTom" are the same thing, just in a different order.
I cannot build an IF formula or use Find/Replace, as I will have thousands
of these types of combinations.

What I want the book to do is; when I click on an item in the list on Sheet1, it takes me to the same item in Sheet2.
