I have a macro to put date in column A but I have a run time error 13 type mismatch this is the code I have?

I have an excel sheet wherin there is a column that has the data where in the dates are displayed and many other columns.
I get this excel every Thursday so i want to filter this date column in such a way that it give me the data related to the date of the previous week only yet there is a catch here. When i say previous week i mean.
Suppose today is 03/14/14 then i want the data from 03/07/14 till today ie Last week friday to this week full( so cant use Current week option) and then paste it in a new sheet.
I tried the Record part but in that it is taking a hard coded value as i am selecting the date myself. I dont want to change the date manually every time.

I am having trouble with what I thought was a simple macro.
Data from report comes in dd.mm.yyyy format so I need to replace . with /
When manually carrying out the replace operation it works fine but when recorded macro carries out the operation a further task does not go as expected.
Next column is AGE (=today()-[date]+1) gives some unexpected results i.e. incorrect to the point of 100's days out!

I generate a report in excel of about 63000 rows (this differs) there are several columns with dates, I wish to remove all the rows with a date before and after certain dates.
It seems I would need a loop for that, but it is unclear to me how this works, so far I have this:

I have a workbook with 2 worksheets being used. Sheet 1 has the months of the year starting with Jan in A1, Feb in B1 etc. On Sheet 2, I have a column of information. The first cell in the column eg. B1 has data validation list based on the months on Sheet 1. The information in the rest of the colum on Sheet 2 needs to be copied to the relevant colum on Sheet 1

I am trying to make a macro that will query a column J4 for a date, if the date is found say "Wednesday, July 4, 2012" (J8) get the text from Column K8 "Independence Day" and insert the text in Cell (H1).
The Macro Prints sign in sheets with the date in H2, it only prints Monday through friday. Then skips the weekend and the next date will start the following Monday.
The Federal Holiday schedule is in column range J (Date) and K (Holiday)

I have a lost and found log that has 2 worksheets: (1) Unresolved and (2) Resolved. Data is entered into the Unresolved worksheet when something is lost or found. When a date is entered under Date Claimed / Sent to Capitol Police (column I), I would like the data in that row to be removed from the Unresolved worksheet and automatically inserted in the next blank row of the Resolved worksheet. I have data in 3 columns: Name, Inclusion Date, Exclusion Date. In some instances, the inclusion date and exclusion date will be zeroed out - I do not wish to count those. What I would like to count is the rows that have an inclusion date, but not an exclusion date. Ideally, I would like to have a code so that when I run a macro a msgbox appears that indicates how many members there are.

how to make a certain type of date automate. It's kind of hard to explain, but basically, I'd like to make it so that when I enter a date in one column, another column will automatically populate with the 1st of the next month. For example:
If I enter 4/26/2009 in the 1st column, column 2 will read: 5/1/2009
If I enter 1/19/2008 .................................................. 2/1/2008
Also, it's very important that if the FIRST date is already the first of the month, then the second column will read the same. For instance: If I enter 3/1/2009 in the first colum, the second column will ALSO read 3/1/2009.

I have a 2 groups of column headings with a different month and year in each heading so
1st Group of columns range
Columns AJ through AX
Column Heading example "Expense Ratio February 2013......next Column over is "Expense Ratio March 2013"
2nd Group of columns range AY though CE
Column Heading example "Capital Balance February 2013......next Column over is "Capital Balance March 2013"
Each new month I need to add a new Expense Ratio column after the most recent expense ratio Column. (i.e. Find "Expense Ratio March 2013" and I need to add a column after that with heading "Expense Ratio April 2013"
Same thing for Capital Balance - add a new Capital Balance column after the most recent Capital Balance Column. (i.e. Find "Capital Balance March 2013" and I need to add a column after that for "Expense Ratio April 2013"
Because the ranges keep changing month over month, how do i do this.

Any way to construct a formula in excel that will look at a reference in one column and find the latest date from the data in an adjacent column for that specific reference?
Below is an exctract from a much larger sheet of the columns in question.
The result in the last column should be 21/05/2014 for anything with D.O.001 in the second column and 15/05/2014 for anything with D.O.002.

I want to insert in the first column (Column1) dates starting from 01/01/2000 all the way up to today, 11/11/2008. So I would end up with a unique date on each row.
To accomplish this manually would be a daunting task. I'm a newbie to excel and don't know how to use any in-built functions.

I think I am working all around this in Excel 2003 and feel like I am in the neighborhood, but can't seem to quite get there. On sheet1 I have 2 columns of 100s of rows. All of the cells in column A will be filled in with a date as time goes by (1-May-09 for example). Several of them may be 1-May-09 as a matter of fact. In column B, some of the cells will have a number in them and some of them will be empty. On sheet2, I want to construct a formula that returns a count of cells in column B that have a number in them based on a specific date in column A. For example:

1-May
If I could get the formula right, it would return an answer of 1 for 1-May in the example, because only 1 of the 1-May entries in column A has a number in the adjacent cell in column B. A formula for 2-May would return an answer of 2 since only 2 of the 2-May entries in column A have numbers in the adjacent cell in column B, and so on for the month. If I understand things right, there are too many arguments for COUNTIF. It seems that SUMPRODUCT should work, but I can't make it so.

I have a formula that counts if a date range is present. However I need to change it to count another column only if that date range is present. For example a17 a50000 the user will enter the date of the order. and in column B has the order number. I want the formula to count the order numbers for a data range in column A.

I have a form in which users will manually enter a date in Column A. I would like to create a formula in Column B which will add 4 days to the date based upon Column A. However, the 4 days should only be added to a select set of dates which I would like to specify. If the date is not found in this select set of dates, then the result in Column B should be the same date as Column A.
