Paste To Range After Filter?

after applying a filter I would like to paste to all rows from C to E.

The paste part of the code isn't important as I already have grabbed it.

But what I need to do is to paste it to all the rows in the 3 columns. The number of rows will always be different, and sometimes there will be no rows (so I can't use the xlDown function. I also don't want to paste over the header row (row 1)

Advanced Filter Code - Criteria Range More Than 1 Row Breaks Filter

I found a great bit of Advanced Filter code that works great, and fixed a problem of clearing a cell breaking the filter.

But if I want to increase the criteria from 1 row to 2, so you can start to include And , Or operations, it breaks the filter. Even an attempt at a manual one fails, until you put the criteria range back down to one row, then it's fine again.

I've tried changing the Target Row to >2 but that didn't work. how to make the criteria range bigger, and no problems of breakage if you clear the cells? It makes for a very useful automated Advanced Filter.

Here's the code :

Database = the named area of raw data.
DATA is the name of the raw data worksheet
The criteria range should be AZ1:BC3, but of course royally breaks it...

Auto Filter Paste Error

I'm running Excel 2003 and I have a workbook with an Auto List in Column G. When I attempt to paste a row of data I get the following message.

The operation is not allowed. the operation is attempting to shift cells in a list on your worksheet.

To work around this, I have to convert the list to a range, copy the data and then reapply the Auto List.

Is there another way to work around this or will I have to create vba code or record a macro?

Copy / Paste Into Pivot Filter VBA

I am trying to run a macro on a few items(24) in a large pivot table(6000). How can I run through a list, one at a time and then run another macro?

Here is what I have:

Sheets("Random Demand").Select
Range("O1").Select
ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "D12549.256"
Sheets("Item Lookup").Select
ActiveSheet.PivotTables("PivotTable1").PivotFields("ITEM_NUMBER").CurrentPage _
= "D12549.256"

Run other code here, then loop back and choose the next item on the list

The problem is the ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = "D12549.256", the range if cells with the items I need to use is Range("O1:O24"), that is what I want to use since the data will change and needs to be dynamic.

Code To Filter And Search For Criteria And Cut And Paste To Another Tab

What I have is a workbook where I have to filter on a column called "Code" in a worksheet called "Current" and search for varies criteria and then copy these filerted rows and paste into a worksheet called "Past" and then delete the orginal rows form the "Current" tab.

e.g. filter on a column called "Code" and filter on the criteria that match "Monday", "123" and "Customer Accepted" and paste at the bottom of the "Past" tab and then delete from the "Current" tab. A message should then be displayed saying "Data Transferred OK" with the curser then highlighting "A1" on the "Current" tab.

The only cavat is that the code may find none, some or all of the required criteria, however, in the event of finding no matching data then a message should then be displayed saying "No Data Found" with the cursor then highlighting "A1" on the "Current" tab

As I have to repeat this to filter on various columns for various criteria I intend to modify the code accordingly, however, in once instance I will have to filter on a column called "Code" and filter on the criteria 1,2 and 3 etc but then I have to do second filter on column called "Code Extra" and then do a filter on the criteria 4, 5 and 6 so the additional code would also be good.

I have the master data in sheet 1 with the some details of different stores eg store 1, store2, store3 etc which are in Column D.

I need to filter the data by each store and paste in the new sheet.
If i use advance filter>copy to another location, the system is not allowing to select different sheet.

is ther any way that If I run the macro, the data is filterd by Store names and the same data should be pasted in a different sheet with the store name. that is all the data related to Store1 should be pasted in Store1 Sheet.

Copy And Paste Function Messes Up Because Of Custom Sort / Filter?

what I do with excel: I have an excel sheet that has over 18,000 rows in it. Since it would be a nightmare to scroll around to find what I want, I use the Custom Sort and Filter options under Editing>Sort&Filter. So for example, I can omit 17,800 rows using a specific setting so that I can work with a more reasonable 200 rows. Moreover, the 200 rows comes from all over the spreadsheet. Meaning their row numbers are not always consecutive.

Here's the problem: Whenever I try to copy anything from this "edited or filtered" excel sheet, the resulting paste is not an exact copy. Excel perfectly copies the first rows up until the point where the row numbers ceases to be consecutive. So, the copy function messes up somehow when the data being copied comes from a different section of the original 18,000 rows.

In case this isn't clear enough...

Let's say that the original file has rows 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

Once I filter/custom sort, I see rows 1,2,3,8,9,10

When I try to copy/paste 2,3,8,9, excel copies 2,3, but messes up the rest of the 8,9. And I end up with a totally useless copy that's generally shorter than it's supposed to be.

When I go one column and Click custom filter and give the command one number and or another numbers ( I Have attached an excel sheet with screen shot) This filters the data, and I need to copy the same and paste in the next sheet.

I have to do like this for about 20 times for 20 sets of data). I have already done this and pasted the data in sheet2. I did everything manually. ( sample sheet is attached) I need a macro to do this work for me.

When I run the macro If get 2 text boxes I can enter the numbers. and click ok,the data has to filtered in sheet1, and result has to be pasted in the next sheet.with the header. Again I will run the macro i will give 2 numbers and the result should be pasted in sheet 2 after the 1st set of data leaveing one row as blank. ( exactly like the sample data in sheet 2). If I run the macro for 10 times giving 10 different numbers, the result should be pasted one after the other in sheet 2.

To initialize some cells/ranges, I am copying a given range and pasting it to another given range using the. Copy and .PaseSpecial methods. However, it would seem that both methods actually select the range(s) for the operations, i.e. the given ranges(s) are activated/selected thus changing the focus on the spreadsheet. I would like to perform both operations without actually selecting the given ranges.

Copy/Paste Range To Different Size/Shape Range

I have the following code that let's the user choose and " import" data to an existing sheet. It works well up until now. The problem is that the three ranges that I am trying to copy the data from on workbook to another has changed size. In previous version of my workbooks the range was two columns by 10 rows. Now, it is 1 column by 10 rows. So, when I run this macro it doesn't work because the two ranges are different. Is there any way to:
1) Only copy over one of the rows of a range thus making the macro run?

2) Do not run that part of the macro if there is an error?

I am using code to filter my 4 sheets Greater then 0 (zero)

After apply above filter now i need to copy multiple rows and paste on another specific workbook for paste i m using below code:

for 1st sheet with the name ("V2")

for 2nd sheet with the name("LV")

For 3rd sheet with the name ("F2")

and 4th sheet with the name("L2")

If I play above code one by one all is going very well,,,,,,or if use in this way all is going very well

But here is a big problem..........if any sheet have no value greater then 0(zero)....then code paste all data... e.g shssts("LV") .Range("C5:C54").Copy but C5:C54 have no data greater then 0(zero) and it will paste on another sheet c5:c54 and again new sheets data will paste below the c54 while c5:c54 have no data.

So I want if any sheet have no data with range is greater then 0(Zero) then skip the copy paste code or use like SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible) .

Alternative To Copy Range Paste Range?

im currently using a Code that copies a visible range from one workbook and pastes that Range to another workbook. I dont like it though because every time it pastes the screen jumps.

I tried setting Range 1 = Range 2, its not giving me an error but its not "pasting" the information to the 2nd workbook.

I know ive done it before by doing each cell in each row individually but a its a big Data Table and that would take too long.

I have a spreadsheet with columns A to X.

There are about five variables which, when entered, should format the row their on. For example, if I select "Waiting List" from a dropdown in column A, the row is formatted to have a blue fill.

I'm currently using this code:

The problem I am having is that when there is no entry for the macro to work on, it just formats rows 2-21 anyway, and overwrites any other formatting.

I have attached my workbook so you can take a look and see what I mean. Firstly, select "Waiting List" in cell B2, then run the macro "waiting". It should work fine.

Then, delete the content of B2, and run the macro again.
