Replace Multiple Hyperlink Addresses

I'm just now working on what appears to be a Macbook (never used Macs before) and I'm working on an Excel file for my job that is going to be pretty tedious for me unless I can come up with some form of automation (a macro).
Here's what I have to do. Every hyperlink in this excel file has the wrong address connected to it (don't ask). The basic problem is that every hyperlink goes [url] when they should all be [url]or something like that.
Now the good part is that I don't have to put the full [url]because since the Macbook is connected to the server that these links are linking to, I just need to say "folder/file" and the rest behind it is added automatically. THe problem is that I have no way to go to each and every hyperlink and just delete the [url] part.
I've tried using the macro recorder, doing this change to a single cell, then running it on other cells, but it doesn't work and I get errors. I have some programming knowledge, so I tried to go into the VB Script editor to edit the macro myself to my liking, but I don't know VB very well and it'd take me a while to learn it, on top of learning Excel's libraries.
So could anyone write up a quick macro for me that will go through every cell with a hyperlink and delete that [url] part of the address or teach me how do it?

I have a column filled with about 300+ hyperlinks.. however they all have display text. I need to get the actual hyperlink address from every link in the column and paste them into the adjacent column (or any other column will do).
I know you can use hyperlinks(1).address to get the address out of one, and I have been able to do this, but I am new to VBA and having trouble working out how to loop through the whole column and put the addresses in another.. all i have done so far is to debug.print all the addresses!...
For Each c In Range("H:H")
Debug.Print (c.Hyperlinks(1).Address)
Next c
How could I modify this to print the hyperlink each time round into column I?

I have a directory which contains many files, they are all names based on their locations. eg. Burwood-File1.xls,Burwood-File2.xls,Burwood-File3.xls etc
I have a master that which will contain the branch in the first column.
I have defined the directory location in a separate sheet as well as email template.
When I click on the Send Email button I want ti to attach the files that match the Branch name.
The Branch list will constantly grow.

I'm trying to draft together a simple VBA script or even =HYPERLINK string to utilize a range of cells in Excel for the To: field in an Outlook email.
I have 7 columns each with categorized for different individuals in different departments.
Instead of dealing with contact groups, I have created a spreadsheet that breaks down the departments and supplies the email address for everyone in the department.
So, what I want to do is make a link or button for each group that when it is clicked on will open a new email via outlook with all of the addresses in the appropriate range in the To: field.
Example:
Cell: A1 is the heading
Cell: A2 is the link/button you would click on
Range: A3:A255 would contain the addresses.
One other thing, I'm not positive if this is an issue or not...The script might need to add the customary semicolon and space after each address added to the To: field...As needed when using multiple addresses in Outlook.

I have some code that will parse the FIRST IP address it finds in a string. Could someone help with the code for continuing through the remaining part of the string and parsing out any additional IP addresses it finds and concatenating them with a comma and space (", ")?
There are specific rules for validating a "proper" IP, but for the purposes of my work, I don't need to validate. I found the following code on a google group (thanks Jeff M). All it does is parse the numeric text surrounding the 3 periods that all valid IPv4 addresses contain. For my purposes, it works ....

I'm a primary school class representative and I want to create an excel contact list of the parents email addresses so that I can click a button, it will open the default email (in my case MS Outlook) and then populate the "To" email address field with the email addresses (separated by a comma).
Can anyone provide me the VB code that I can paste into my worksheet VBA that will look at a range of cells (say E2:E30) that contain email addresses, and put them in the "To" field of a blank email?
I have put a button on the page and it's called "EmailButton" but I don't know what VB to put with it. I'm using MSExcel 2007 (at home) and 2003 (at work)

I have a list of email addresses in the range K10:K33, (one address per row).
How can I use that range as the 'To' field of an email address, putting a ';' between each name?

I want to write macro for below requirement.
I have 10 file in a folder and in that there is address, pone and other detail of employees in these sheets it will be static from D3 - D13 rows. Which is of below format:
Original format
Name
Address1
Address2
Phone
Sex etc..
I want to the above data to populate from these 10 sheets to one sheet (new workbook) as columns as below format :
Sl.#, Name, Address1, Address2, Phone, Sex etc...
I want to write an macro to achieve this. Please let me know your views to achieve this functionality.

My vb code works well for sending worksheets to multiple recipients (about 400 rows) IF I have only one email address in a cell, however, I have some rows that have more than one email address (eg. bob@hotmail.com, dan@gmail.com). I've spent hours researching a clean way to do this and I think I need to be able to extract each of them and assign them to a variable to use in an array???
I'm using Lotus Notes 6.5 and Excel 2003.

I have about 20,000 hyperlinks in my excel sheet that I would like to assign to individual images.
For example, how do I link an image in cell A2, using a hyperlink from cell B2?
I know that if I wanted to simply hyperlink text, I would use =HYPERLINK(B2,"text"), but this reference won't work for images.
I also know I can right click on the image and insert a hyperlink that way, but this obviously isn't practical because I am working with over 20,000 links.

I have about 1000 links (to files on a server) in my Excel 2007 spreadsheet. I would like to edit them all at once so the word 'link' is displayed but the link stays the same. I can do it for each entry, but have no idea how to do it all at once - is there a way?

I have a multisheet workbook where I am trying to modify all hyperlinks.
The links are all to jpgs and are currently on a web server, but I want to change them all to reference a local folder.
Eg: [url]
Obviously, I'll leave "file.jpg" alone as I don't want the specific image to change, just the place where it is trying to find the image.

I have a vlookup worksheet like described in this thread: [URL] .... This works perfect. I would like to be able to jump to the vlookup result using a hyperlink.
In the thread worksheet the formula in C2 is like

In cell D2 I placed the formula (font: webdings )
=IF(C2="","",HYPERLINK("[Workbook1.xls]"&("Sheet2!"&(ADDRESS(MATCH(C2,Sheet2!$D:$D,),4))),"i"))
(Due to the Dutch Excel I use I replaced ";" to ",")
The link works because I hardcoded "Sheet2" into the formula where the result can be found. But it would be much nicer if I didn't had to put the sheetname into this formula.
Is it possible to use range G2:G8 like in the first formula to achieve this? I guess you have to use INDEX and/or INDIRECT but I barely understand the first formula ...

I have created a Macro that lists and creates links of all the Excel Documents in a Directory (500+). I would like to extract from each of those files data from a single cell on a certain sheet. (The sheet and cell are the same in each of these files). The code I have written opens each of these files, copies the data and pastes the value in the column next to each sheet. This is a very time consuming task because of the shear volume. I feel that there is a better way to do this, I'm just not seeing it. If you could come up with a way to create this as a reference that would be great too instead of having to rebuild the entire list if the data changes. Here is the code I have written.

I am using the following code and it works great the only problem is that when I have more then one email address in the same cell it will not send the email. Even if I seperate it with a semicolon. It work fine if I have just one email address in the email field. How can I get it to send the same info to different email addresses.

I have a hyperlink mailto - =HYPERLINK(CONCATENATE("mailto:",C2,"?subject=",C3,"&body=",C4),"Request Update")
But the body only supports a line or two of text, which isn't useful, and doesn't allow for different lines to be placed within it.
I then tried addeding extra text with another cell - =HYPERLINK("Mailto: "&C2&"?Subject="&C3&"&Body="&C4&" "&TEXT(C5,"$#,##0.00")&".")
But this doesn't work either. Both come up with #value error with too much text..

How do you replace terms, such that if you replace 'alphabet' with:
alpha -> calcu
bet -> lator,
you get 'calculator'?
The one I'm asking is similar to: Replace("alphabet", "bet", "lator") = alphalator, though 'alpha' will get replaced as well.

I am needing to do a find and replace on multiple values in an excel worksheet. For example in column d when you find ABC123456 replace with XYZ654321. But there are several hundred in a sequence that need to be replace w/ a different sequence.
Is there something I can do in vb that would help me do this?

I need to recode 30+ files the have the old account numbers and I need to replace them with new codes ie

I have an excel spreadsheet which contains some 800 accounts in the format above showing old account number in column A and the new account number in column B. How would I write the VBA code to search all files in a specified folder search all rows in column E and find/replace using my spreadsheet containing the mapping details as above?
or in the very least just be able to run a macro to replace all the old codes in an individual spreadsheet.

I have been put together some simple coding to find and replace a value (1) that i have obtained from a pivot table. My aim was to replace any "1" with the column header. The reason for this is that the cell(s) will be used in a VLookup at a late stage.
My problem is that I have the code to work for a single cell, but I want it to work for multiple columns so I don not have to create multiple macros.
I need to go from Column C to AW. I have a total row at the end - hence why I am using 'Step - 1'.

I am trying to import 16 columns from one file into another (please reference the attached images). I need each line to match an identifier (in this case the players name (column A in MASTER and Column B in NEW)).
In the NEW file, each column to be imported is titled Stats1, Stats2, Stats 3 (up to 16.) These headers are identical in both files but a complication is that the NEW file only has 900 players (lines) and the MASTER has almost 1600.
Sidney Crosby's 16 Stats column from the NEW file needs to replace Sidney Crosby 16 different Stats columns in MASTER.

I currently have two lists I am working with. One is a big mix of many different names, names which all need to be replaced.
I have another list which has all of these original names included in one column and the names which should replace those names in the column next to it.
Is there a way to go down this list and have excel find and replace every name in the sheet with its corresponding name without having to do it manually over and over?
