Hyperlink To VLookup Result In Multiple Worksheets

I have a vlookup worksheet like described in this thread: [URL] .... This works perfect. I would like to be able to jump to the vlookup result using a hyperlink.
In the thread worksheet the formula in C2 is like
=VLOOKUP(A2,INDIRECT("'"&INDEX($G$2:$G$9,MATCH(TRUE,COUNTIF(INDIRECT("'"&$G$2:$G$9&"'!C2:C100"),A2)>0;0))&"'!C2:D100"),2,0)
In cell D2 I placed the formula (font: webdings )
=IF(C2="","",HYPERLINK("[Workbook1.xls]"&("Sheet2!"&(ADDRESS(MATCH(C2,Sheet2!$D:$D,),4))),"i"))
(Due to the Dutch Excel I use I replaced ";" to ",")
The link works because I hardcoded "Sheet2" into the formula where the result can be found. But it would be much nicer if I didn't had to put the sheetname into this formula.
Is it possible to use range G2:G8 like in the first formula to achieve this? I guess you have to use INDEX and/or INDIRECT but I barely understand the first formula ...

In sheet 2 i want to create a hyperlink such as "HP". If I click on HP it should extract all Model Names which start from HP and give me all corresponding results. Similarly for CM or SM
Note: HP / SM / CM are my Standard Names.
Result e.g.
Sheet 2 cell A1 contains HP
If i click on Hp it should return this table.

Intend creating a calculator that shows me how much a certain hotel room costs at different times (seasons) of the year, for example I have a One Bedroom Budget Apartment (list of room types is extensive), I also have three seasons, low, S Hols and Xmas, so I have a sheet created and inserted drop down boxes for the RoomType, Season, and Number of days, I now have to insert a formula that looks for the three variables and inserts the cost (I already have this info on a worksheet)

I have multiple worksheets with data for which I would like to write a macro to search and "retrieve" based on the State/County/Municipality and Client selected. I have created the drop down menus that should drive the data being searched, but I'm not confident in my very limited abilities to take this to the next level.
End goal: User should be able to select from the dependent drop down lists (State/County/Municipality) and/or Client, click "Retrieve Data" button and pull in data from the appropriate worksheet driven by the selection in the drop down lists.

I have 4 spreadhsheets in all, the front main sheet plus 3 with different informatioin on. In the main sheet i want to collate all the data togther automatically rather than cut and paste becuase the data is ongoing and updating from other workbooks.
All 3 sheets have a one main column (lets say "A") then 5 or 6 columns after wards. I want the number in column "A" in the main sheet to match the number in the other 3 sheets then pull the information from the other 5 or 6 columns into the main sheet. So that if i changed the number in the main sheet column "A" to a different number it would change the other columns automatically. Basically, if its not in sheet 1 then look in sheet 2, if not in 2 then look in 3.

I am trying to vlookup using data on two seperate worksheets. On a worksheet called form, I am trying to return a value from sheet1 or sheet2. If the look up value is not on sheet1, how do i get it to look for the lookup value on sheet2? B5 contains the look up value, on sheet1 and sheet2 the array is a2:z65000, 38 is the column index number, false is the range lookup.

When I drag my VLOOKUP formula down a column in Excel 2010, the return value copies the formula result from the original VLOOKUP formula result. For example, if the first VLOOKUP returns a value of 0.5, I expect to see 0.5 or 1 in the cell below that one. However, I get 0.5 which is not the expected result for the cell below.
When, I click the fx on the cells below, the expected return values appear in the formula result. After I click OK, the expected formula results updates and now appears in the cell.
I'm not sure what is causing this issue. My computer was updated recently from an old machine to a new one. I have never experienced this issue before.

I have 3 different sheets of information.
Each sheet has a column of text. With the column of text I have a number associated with it.
I want to ceate a column for each number and have it look at all three sheets for info corresponding with that number.
Ex: 1st Sheet
Excellent condition 20
Like New 20
Poor condition 21
2nd Sheet
No work has been done. 20
Needs Work. 20
3rd Sheet
March 20
December 21
The formula needs to lookup the first number and place the text in the first row, then the next row either go to the next number or if there is not one then the next sheet.
I would like a column that reads something like this:
Sheet 21
in first row - poor condition
second row - december

I want to find sum of all 4 returned values (Sales!BL5, Sales!BM5, Grants!X5, Deferred Pymts!X5
Column References:
Cell AD2 (AMOUNT TOTAL PYMTS)
Cell AC2 (TOTAL NO. OF ORDERS)
Cell Range B5:B4833 on multiple pages (CUSTOMER NAME)
Cell Range AJ5:AJ4833 on multiple pages (CUSTOMER NAME)
Formula:
In Cell AD2 of CustomerData! Sheet:
If AC2 is not blank, then
look for match between A2 and Sales!B5:B4833, return the value in Sales!BL5, and
look for match between A2 and Sales!AJ5:AJ4833, return the value in Sales!BM5, and
look for match between A2 and Grants!B5:B4833, return the value Grants!X5, and
look for match between A2 and Deferred Pymts!B5:B4833, return the value Deferred Pymts!X5
Hope this does not confuse, but if John Doe is listed in AC2 I want to find the sum of his total payments if his name is listed as a customer in Sheets Sales, Grants, and Deferred Pymts. The Sales! sheet is divided into AM and PM pricing which explains why Sales! has Column B and Column AJ for Customer Names.

There are a # of different product #s on all spreadsheets I need a total qty for each product # by calculating the qty of each style # (ie how many I1 across all sheets?)

very basic Excel user (using Excel 2007). Trying to see how I can use the VLookup function from multiple worksheets to get an average. I know it can be done, but just not sure how to go about doing that. My spreadsheet is attached - basically what I want to do is to get an average for the individuals listed in the "Consensus" tab for the figures that appear in Worksheets "1", "2" and "3".

I have three columns. Column A=" Name", Column B=" Date" and Columnc="Amount". I need to find and go to the correct amount based on a certain name and date as criteria.
I was going to see if it was possible to use this =INDEX(C1:C1000,MATCH(1,(A1:A1000=D1)*(B1:B1000=E1),0)) with a hyperlink, but I can't even get it to work without a hyperlink. I also tried this to find the match= SUMPRODUCT((A1:A1000=E5)*(B1:B1000=EE6)*(C1:C1000)). I found it on a website(I'm not sure how it works.) My next shot was going to be with multiple criteria vlookup, but I can't get anything more than a plain vlookup to work. I'm using excel 2007 non-commercial use.

Suppose I have and excel workbook with 100 sheets and I want to click from one sheet to another. I created a table of all the sheets and hyperlinked the sheets then copy/pasted the table into each worksheet but that seems primitive. What if I have to revise the table? I will have to do it hundred times !
Is there a smart way to accomplish this using one smart master table that I can copy and paste into each sheet or somehting similar?

I am wanting to create a macros that will for a given column of cells hyperlink to a Worksheet that has the same name of the cell. I.E. For the set of:
Ohio State
Nebraska
Oregon
Florida
I want to run a macros which will assign each of those to a worksheet within the same workbook that has the same name. So when "ohio state" is clicked on, it will go to the worksheet "ohio state." When "Nebraska" is clicked on it it will go to the worksheet "nebraska" ect.

I have a workbook with multiple worksheets that will be added or removed. I want a list of all worksheets (which I plan on making hyperlinks) on the first worksheet. (entitled "Home"). This page is automatically selected on worksheet open. In pseudocode, I want a:
<for each worksheet in the workbook>
<list name of worksheet>
<advance one row>
OK - so that was even less than pseudocode, it's a quickie outline...
But the idea is present.

I'm having a problem getting a hyperlink to work when adding it to a vlookup. The vlookup is looking at a page number and returning the named drawing from an Auto Desk Inventor File. I'm trying to get the returned drawing name to become a hyperlink to open the drawing. I would rather have this added to the formula so if a page number ever changes the hyperlink will change to the correct drawing also. Here is what I have so far but it is just returning an error of " cannot open the specified file". =HYPERLINK(IF(E5="","",(VLOOKUP(E5,'Inventor Import'!$A$2:$E$200,5,FALSE))))

I have dropdown lists across the top of my sheet that contain possible links (in text from defining multiple lists) from another sheet, and I want the cell below the dropdown list to return the active hyperlink from what the user has selected right above it. I have a another sheet (kind of a master data sheet) that has the text version of the links in column A and then the active working link (what I want) in column B and other info in the rest of the columns. I tried =hyperlink(vlookup(~~..etc)) and it returns the link but when clicked, gives me an error.

I have this macro that I use for taking information based column B grouping it together and putting in a separate worksheet.
What I would like to do is in the master sheet (sheet1) to create a hyperlink for those listed in column B so I can click on it and it takes me right to that worksheet.

I have workbook that contain several sheets. I want to generate a code that will do "first sheet as Index sheet (no mater what is the name of sheet)". Now in this sheet (Index), I want to put sheet names in sheet's order. OR I want to find the sheet name by just one click in Index sheet (eg. Ctr + F, sheet name, it will go to that sheet) can find all the names of sheet. I won't interested to hyperlink the sheet manually many times on Index sheet.

I am using Excel 2003 to run a workbook that contains 60 separate worksheets. To make it easier for the techs to navigate the workbook I created a block of 60 autoshapes, (5 blocks high x 12 blocks long) each block hyperlinked to each worksheet and labeled with the worksheet name. I then placed one of these blocks at the top of every worksheet. A tech can click on the block and it takes him right to the page he is looking for, pretty straight forward. It works very well, but as you can guess this is a lot of autoshapes to be stuck in one workbook (3600) and whenever you make major changes to the workbook than the blocks become a factor, and if you resize the columns or add one, or change a worksheet name... I thought about just creating 60 custom buttons and sticking them on a custom tool bar - but I found trying to create a button with a number on it like "34" (for "worksheet 34") was pretty tough in the button editor.
way to create a set of hyperlink buttons that will allow you to quickly navigate through 60 worksheets?

I have developed a spread sheet that when I click on a dropdown list I can picka certain item and it will show several colums of information. I want to include a hyperlink that is stored in the vlookup range in one of those colums. It will show the text in the link when i use the vlookup to see data however i cant access the link from this cell.

I am having when trying to preserve a hyperlink when using VLOOKUP. I have two worksheets within the same workbook. Worksheet 1 contains a lot of information for internal use(many of the cells in all of the columns contain hyperlinks to web addresses), and Worksheet 2 should be a version identical to this, showing only the selected columns suitable for external use. This is to avoid using two different 'work trackers'; so, when info in Worksheet 1 is updated, Worksheet 2 should automatically be updated and reflect this.

I am performing a vlookup in a worksheet and want to retrieve a hyperlink displayed on another worksheet in the same workbook.
The Vlookup finds the item I am looking for, but the hyperlink comes in as text. Do I need to perform the vlookup differently when trying to retrieve a hyperlink?

I have an excel file that is used to record information about particular projects. We need to record dates related to these events and these are stored on separate worksheets. These use a key of sorts, where the unique references are replicated on all worksheets.
I have set up the data sheet to generate the unique identifier and the hyperlinks to the Received! and Sent! worksheets automatically as new unique references are added to the Data! worksheet.
What I would like is a VBA code to populate hyperlinks in the Received! and Sent! worksheets in column B, to link back to the Data! worksheet unique reference.
I had used formulas in the past, but the Data! worksheet is massive. I've needed to write hundreds of hyperlink formulas referencing blank spaces in the Data! sheet in anticipation of new projects. It would be better if they were populated as the sheet expanded.

I want the macro to:
1. Create a new worksheet when data is entered into a cell (ie. entered text "ACC2013" into cell A5)
2. Rename that worksheet to correspond to the data in the cell (ie. change worksheet name from sheet2 to "ACC2013")
3. Create a hyperlink between cell A5 and sheet2
I'd like for this macro to loop through a range of cells so I don't have to have a long code. Let's say my data range is from A5:A23. If this requires multiple macros that is fine.

I have a Sheet named Main, Juz and another called wordforword.
Currently on Main sheet I have a vlookup that displays the results from wordforword. Instead of showing the result, I would like the user to be directed to the wordforword sheet result, with the click of a hyperlink.
I do prefer formulas over macro if possible.
