So far my VBA will copy my range of cells in Excel and paste them into Powerpoint but I'm totally stuck as to how to resize the image from there. I've tried a bunch of different methods and I get some pretty crazy results but can't seem to punch through to a solution. What I'd like it to do, at the end of the VBA is:
Set the lock aspect ratio to false
Set the Height to 5.5"
Set the Width to 9.83"
Set the horizontal position to .08 from Top Left
Set the Vertical position to .58 from Top Left
I cannot seem to get my save as portion to work at all. I commented it out at the bottom. This is all in Excel and PPT 2007.
Here is what I have so far:
Sub Export_Excel_to_PowerPoint()
Dim ppApp As PowerPoint.Application
Dim ppSlide As PowerPoint.Slide
On Error Resume Next
Set ppApp = GetObject(, "PowerPoint.Application")
On Error GoTo 0
[Code]...
Ultimately the behavior I'm looking for with this macro is to copy a filtered range of cells from Excel and paste it as a picture into Powerpoint (up til this point I'm golden) then resize the image on the slide, save the presentation, then exit PPT.

I am working with a spreadsheet created by a predecessor and there is a picture at the top of one of the worksheets. When I select the picture and hit Delete, it seems to work, but the picture is still there. When I move it around the worksheet and resize it, a copy with the same name ("Picture 47") remains in the spot I moved it from. When I delete the resized/moved picture, it deletes, but the picture still remains in the original spot.
When I record a macro and select the picture and hit delete - or even when I move the picture and resize it - the recorded macro is blank.
All of the pictures seem to be named "Picture 47"

I have some code to insert a picture based on the value of a cell. The user would select the name of the item by selecting the cell and then clicking a macro button.
In my code I need to delete the previous picture first. I used the following
Sub get_system_picture()
Dim pic As Shape
Dim picname As String
picname = ActiveCell.Value
On Error Resume Next
'exit sub if selection is not a system number
If IsEmpty(ActiveCell) Then
MsgBox "Please select a system number first!"
Exit Sub
End If
If Not ActiveCell.Column = 2 Then
MsgBox "Please select a system number first!"
Exit Sub
End If
The problem is this also deletes my macro button! Any suggestions?

I have made an excel document that I use as a order form. I have size columns; qty columns; style number columns etc. After I enter in qtys to a sheet I than sort the sheet by the qty column which than brings all of my ordered styles to the top of the order form. I than delete everything that is below the last column that has qtys in it.
I have added pictures on the side of the worksheet which fit into the grids of each row that corridinates with the appropriate style number. I can sort the worksheet and all of the pictures stay in the appropriate columns; so far so good.
The problem that I run into is now when I go to delete all of the other columns that the customer didnt order none of the pictures delete. They jsut pile on top of each other and I cant figure out how to embed each picture to the appropriate row so that when I delete the row the picture deletes as well. At this point I have to go through and delete picture by picture and there are way to many pictures to do this.
How do I imbed the pictures into the row so that when i delete the row the picture deletes as well

I have a not too big catalog in Excel format (2010). Each row has a picture. Now, I need to generate sales report. Some items do not sell. For report purpose, I want to delete those rows along with the pictures. Possible to do so? I did an Internet search and found that drawing objects are not bonded to a row or a cell. Seems to me I cannot selectively delete picture in a particular row. True?

I want to delete a picture from an image control in a worksheet when pressing a button. So my code is:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Sheets("Sheet1").Image1.Picture = LoadPicture("")
End Sub
Well, the problem is that this code only works when I create it. If I save and close the excel file when I open it again and I press the CommandButton1 I get the following error: Run-time error '-2147417848(80010108)' Method "Picture of object "IImage" failed.

In Excel 2010, is there any way to paste a picture into a small picture/diagram box, and upon double clicking the picture it would explode to a larger size? And I guess double clicking it again would make it return to its original (smaller) size. I would be pasting several pictures into several different picture/diagram boxes and would need this to be a relative reference so that upon selection it explodes the appropriate picture?

I have done the above where when I select a picture name from a drop down list it displays the relevant picture in another cell by using the IF function in the named formula
My question is why cant I use VLOOKUP instead of IF in the named formula. When I use it it comes with an error.

I want to paste/show a photo in a particular cell (D2) on a worksheet (called PP). I wish to delete any photo that may already be there in D2.
The picture's name (e.g. J-145.jpg) will be found in another sheet (called MP) in cell H1.
My pictures are stored in a folder (lets call it c:pictures) and the one I want has the same name (J-145.jpg).
I've tried many macros but none work.

I have the following
Cells(c,r) = Range("fa:" & "fa.Offset(0,5)").value
Fa is a code that searches, once it's found something, it then puts that one cell.value into Cells(c,r). it then moves on until the next cell found with the required contence. I need it to put that one cell, and the next 4 columns along side it starting in Cells(r.c)
The problem is, I keep getting a global error. I am sure I have done something like this before, but cannot find it, or remember how i did it.

stretch" the userform to fit the height and width fo the screen. I dont want to simply change the height and width of the userform, i want the controls within the userform to stretch with the userform so that it looks the same, just fullscreen. this is what ive found by googling:
VB:
With Application
.WindowState = xlMaximized
Zoom = Int(.Width / Me.Width * 100)
Width = .Width
Height = .Height
End With
however, this just stretches it to match the width of my screen, but doestn consider the height, so that if i have a widescreen vs a square screen it will cut off the bottom of my userform. It would be great if there was a zoom type featur that zooms the vertical and horizontal dimensions seperately... more like a stretch than a zoom.
