I need that everytime I change a number in my Column B that it will change all the numbers, in my column B, based on the matching Text in my Column A.

I have used the below code to insert a new row when the value in coulmn A change. I now need to evolve it so that the new row will contain a specific value depending on the changing value:

How would I add this formula as a worksheet function with VBA. I can't see INT, MOD or Year in VBA. Also want to change C2 to change to activecell column + row 2.

I want to take what is in column A and replace the number after the "=" with new number.
I need a formula that identifies the 6 numbers or letters after the = and replaces with column A

The 111111 after the = could be any string of 6 letters and numbers. The contents of column b are a URL.
I have this macro below and would like the code changed to find the "Customer Number" column by name rather than by column B. Note that the "Customer Number" column will always be somewhere in row 1.

I would like to change the code below to instead look for the "Customer Number" column by name, rather than by column A. My "Customer Number" column will always be in row 1, but yet, it will be in a different column letter every time I run the report.
I need code to change a letter such as A into a column number i.e 1. Everything i can find is to do with changing column numbers into letters, surely you can do it the other weay round aswell? So when the macro is given the letter AA it returns the column number as 27 etc, but i need it as a defined variable such as "i = column number" so i can use this information further on in my code.

How can I have it so the column (letter) changes in succession rather than the row (number)? Here is my formula :

I am trying to achieve a row insert based on matching criteria. I need to check a column of text values, and each time the text value changes, copy cells (a1:c1) and insert copied selection to the row before text change.
I am only concerned with the text in the first column. For example, I have a column with sometext in each row, when the row changes to somenewtext, I want to copy the header information and insert into row before the text changed.

I have done a measurement with the labview programm and I have saved it in a txt file, but I need to open it with excel to finish my work. View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a spreadsheet where one column will determine the color of the entire row....if the sales persons name in column B = "Dew", the entire row should be shaded light blue. if the name is "Swiger" they should be white, when its Webb, it should be light blue again- alternatively, at every change in value in that column, alternate the entire rows shade - when the sales person name changes from Dew to Swiger, change the shading of Swigers Rows to white, when it changes from Swiger to Webb, make Webb's rows shaded the same blue as Dew's row's were....there are multiple rows for each sales person.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have quite a complex spreadsheet that features some circular formulas in it, which work out fine with Iterations set to around 1000. The spread sheet functions exactly as it should, except for when the document is saved the values in the column which features the circular formula alter. This is the formula I have:
=IF(U3<0,0,MIN(40,R3+S3)-MAX(22,R3))
When I calculate, the figure is positive or 0, as it should be. However, when I go to save, the formula ignores the U3<0,0 and returns a (correct but undesired) negative value.
This means that every time I open up the spreadsheet I have to recalculate. While this isn't the greatest problem ever, it's frustrating!
