Text Output Based On Combination Of Cell Values?

I'm tying myself in knots when trying to combine logical formulas to return a text value based on multiple cell values.
Cell A1 can equal 1-10, and cell B1 can also contain the values 1-10.
I want C1 to display the text "YC" if B1 value is equal to 9 or 10. I want C1 to display the text "SC" if B1 value is 5-8, and A1 value is 4-10. Any other combination of values should return a blank cell.
I tried splitting this into two components before trying to make it fit into a single equation, and i can achieve the first condition of display "YC" =IF(AND(A1>=9,A1

I have a simple spreadsheet of an inventory. Each row on this spreadsheet represents the data related to an item. I would like for a user to be able to INPUT a serial number via a userform. Then, I would like for the program to OUTPUT some information about that particular item (a few cells that should be on the same row as the serial number).
I attached an image diagram that may better represent what I am trying to do.

Sometime it’s so hard to explain what it is you are having problems with, specially in the little title. I'm trying to write a formula which should be very simple but isn’t . The formula is in box F10 if B10 has anything in it and its going to have a mixture of text and numbers (first text then numbers) then it’s should equal to the value in the box C7. Here is the formula I wrote that doesn’t work.

I guess this would work in a similar manner as Solver, but where Solver tweaks cell values to equal a given total, I've got a set of cells and I need to find the combination that equals an amount in another cell. Is there a way to do this?

Excel 2010, I have the following list (showing part of it):
Name
T-Shirt Sizes
Nathan
S
[Code]....
The aim of the list is to see what Sizes each and every person needs and then count how many T-Shirts are required for that particular size. The list is over a 100 entries long so counting it manually isn't really an option as it's time consuming as well as errors might arise.
Thus, I've been trying to use the IF statement with the following logic but to as no avail
IF Size in Column is XS
Add 1 to a particular Cell
IF Size in Colum is S
Add 1 to a particular Different Cell
and so on for the other sizes...kind of like a counter for a for-do-loop.

As per title, I am trying to compare a column of text cells which contain "Yes" or are empty and a columns of numbers. If they are "Yes" and "1" on the same row, I want to output an "OK" message. Excel seems happy with the following code but it does not work and returns an empty cell if the two conditions are true.

Set cell fill color based on number of adjacent cell
I am doing a research with the following information. In column B, I have the name of the buyer company, column B cells that contain numbers 1, 2 or 3 opposite the company name in column B depending on certain characteristics. I would like to mark the companies in column A in different colors (or some other recognizable way) as described below.

4: if there are only 1 in column C opposite the specific company in column B
5: if there are only 2 in column C opposite the specific company in column B
6: if there are only 3 in column C opposite the specific company in column B
7: if there are 1, 2 and 3 in column C opposite the specific company in column B
8: if there are 1 and 2 in column C opposite the specific company in column B
Any suitable function in excel or Macros that can work with the formatting, because I have tens of thousands of companies and it will take too much time to do it manually.

I've got a worksheet that needs to be limited by the value in a cell. I've attached it so you can look at it and understand what I need better. In I7 (red box) is a number that is the max a machine can rotate. B6 should never exceed this and B9 should be scaled down to match the output of B6. I think B9 will scale down automatically from the existing formulas if B6 is throttled correctly.
Should =FLOOR((((F5*D11)/D9)*3.82),50) have a max value equal to I7? And how would I incorporate it?

I have a list that changes:

I would like a to create a function in one cell that counts the unique text values in column A, but only when there is a corresponding 1 in column B. So the answer in the above example would be 4 (Apples, Bananas, Donut, Egg).

I'm creating a workbook to keep track of my utilities payments, one sheet for one utility and so on. I like to copy two cells from each sheet to another one to keep me updated of the amount to pay and the date. an example: column A with text, if text "NEXT" appear in column A, copy the value of two cells (at columns B & C) at the right of "NEXT" to another worksheet, if that possible? I'm trying to use Excel to build a text file based on values from certain cells in Excel 2010. This is based partially off of static text that never changes and variables that will need to change. For example, I want Excel to output a text file that has the following text: The red fox jumped over the $X twice. I would want $X to be replaced by the value of A1 of the active worksheet. I will also have several lines like that, so it won't just be a single line, but anywhere from 20 - 120.

Got a road block on one of the trackers which I am trying to create which compares some of our agreements. Basically we need to compare current production with our contracts and then bring the tier level they are at in order to then calculate how much in overrides we receive. Belwo is an example:
Input Value = 140000
Out Should be = 1.5%
Set of Values 1
T1
T2
T3
T4
[Code]...
In a nut shell it will look for 14000 in set of values 1 and pick T3 to then go in set of values 2 and display corresponding T3 which will be 1.5% in above example as output.

I have a series of identification values that begin with text and end with a number. The trouble with sorting on this field only affects where the the first 9 entries end up since the number portion is not prefixed with a zero. Is there a way to sort these numbers so that ID2 (and not ID10) follows ID1?

I'm currently trying to make a sort macro that sorts a row of data that has a combination of numerical data and the text entry "N.A."
e.g.:
My field:
1
2
N.A
4
5
N.A
9
I want to sort the cells by descending value. But the result appears as:
My field:
N.A
N.A
9
5
4
2
1
But I want to numbers to appear first and have the "N.A."s to be after the number, since I have about 100 columns and some rows have like 30 N.A., which is pretty bad for usability if all that appears in the first screen are "N.A."
EDIT: by the way by ascending the data is fine since it orders by smallest number to largest and THEN the "N.A."

I have a list in excel with ten values, but I need to get all combinations possible, picking 4 of 10 each combination. This must be as a combination and no permutation or variations either, I mean, values can't be repeated in a single combination.

I have different products with different sizes becoming operational in various months & years. I need to sum those sizes that are operational in a given month/year. In the example below, I have
-product A with 100 unit size, operative since 2007/03
-product C with 200 unit size, operative since 2007/10
So in the table with months on left, and years on top,
from 2007/01 to 2007/02, value must be 0,
from 2007/03 to 2007/09, value must be 100,
from 2007/10 to 2008/06, value must be 100+200=300 and so on.
For this specific example, I tried the following:

I have provided an attachment. what I am trying to accomplish. I am trying to have a worksheet that if I input multiple 3 number combinations into the input cell range, after pressing the sort button, it would then sort, rank and count each 3 number combination for me. So as my attached file illustrates, the input cells would be A9:D14. In this sample the ranking consists of cells A19 - A31 as the ranking columns. Cells F19 - F31 show the counted and sorted results and are ranked accordingly. I need a sort button as illustrated in cell F10 to make the worksheet function after the 3number combinations are inputted in cells A9:D14. How do I get started to make this work? I do not know VBA codes or macros so I will need guidance along the way if this is what is needed. I do have some working knowledge of formulas (e.g. countif, rank, etc.)

I have three columns that each have a drop down of text options; column A has three options, column B has three options and column C has two options. I want to have a fourth column that will show a text value dependent on the combination of the three columns.
It ends up being 18 variations so my IF formula just won't compute.
This is basically the format I have and works for a few values then just chucks up an error when I extend it to all 18 variations:
IF(AND(A1="text",B1="text2",C1="text3"),"show this text",
IF(AND(B1="other",B1="other2",C1="other3"),"then show this", ) etc etc
Any way I can get this to work for all 18 possible outcomes??

I have two columns of data one which #N/A appears due to formulas often and the other a set range of numbers 1-60. Column Q contains numbers between 1-60 and #N/A when the lookup formula doesn't find what it is looking for. Column R contains the numbers 1-60. What I need is to place into another column are the numbers in column R that don't appear in Column Q.

I have a long list of values, a few thousand lines, that I need to input into an array so I can run a formula on the values in the array and then take those results and put them into another array which I can then call to output down a different column. Is there a faster way to accomplish this than the typical For Loop with the activecell.value and activecell.offset commands, that just takes forever.

I'm trying to have it output certain symbols such as "Ó" and I can't quite figure out how to do it, i want it to basically write in the selected cell:
"Ó of " & a & "'s = " & b
where a and b are strings... my problem is i cant figure out how to have it output the sigma but keep the letters from going into symbol or windings...

i am currently working on a macro that will make an average number of days. my problem is that when the macro runs it works fine and does what is is supposed to but becuse some fields do not have numbers in it returns the #value! back in the output box. I need some way of getting rid of this, or changing the boxes without numbers to 0 automatically.

An internet user inputs data onto a web form, and and presses a submit button. The submitted input is 'processed' on a through excel and outputs the result back the internet user.

I was wondering how to make the following: get a list where each Number from the "source file.xls" is assigned to a Group like in "final list.xls" through "conversion table.xls".
In the "source file.xls" we have apart from Number, the Series and Category columns. I need to compare both Series and Category to the same from "conversion table.xls" and in the third workbook output the matching Number from "source file.xls" and Group from "conversion table.xls" according to matching algorithm.
I am attaching the files:
source file.xls
conversion table.xls
final list.xls
All three should be different workbooks and the first two will need to be closed. Also very important is the source file can have many names so it would be great to implement an open dialog box to load the data from "source file.xls". All data is in text format....
