Userform That Needs To Pull And Insert Dates

I have an issue with a userform that needs to pull and insert dates.

This hinges on several formulas and pivot tables plus eventually gets imported into access so my needs as shows will not be all that flexible.

this needs to be input as "05/01/2012" but read as "MAY", the userform needs to display the date in a method that makes sense to my temp/seasonal users (mmmm format preferred) but needs to be in the cell as mm/dd/yyyy so the formulas and pivot tables can make properly read them. I have been trying this for months and it seems i can get all the parts working independant but not all at once.

The default reads fine and it inputs fine but the drop down has excel date codes (40156, 40187, etc)
The default is fine and inputs the date AS "mmmm" format but cant be read by the forumalas or access.

I am open to examples like making the combo box populate another textbox or field on the form but haven't gotten that to work yet either. Example files and picture in the link [URL] .......

Pull Dates From Every Other Cell To One Sheet?

I have a list of names in one colm, and date of birth and date of death in another colm but in two rows. I'm unable to merge the cell, so I decide to place each date of birth in one colm and date of death in another colm. But I cant get the formula to read each of the colm as just birth and the other to read just death, unless I plug each and everyone one of them one by one, and this is long list of people roughly 150.

Vba To Pull Column Data Into Userform?

I got it when I click on the cell it loads the userform but it is populating with row data instead of column data.

I would like when I click on for example cell T4 and the userform pops up to see the textbox data going down the rows instead of across which is is currently doing.

so clicking on T4 brings my userform up filled in with information from

T5 and U5
T6 U6
T7 U7
T8 U8
T9 U9

I have when I click on the cell T4 column

This way I can change amount or receipt and update my worksheet.

I'm trying to figure out a formula that will just pull the month and year no matter what format the dates are in. Based on the above I'm looking for the following results:

This data is for the entire year so the same applies for all months.

Pull Data From Cell To Textbox On Userform

Userform I've created. It's not for inputting data, just for displaying and linking to data.

I have a textbox on a userform that I would like to display exactly what is written in cell C5 of sheet1. I don't want the user to be able to edit it, just for it to display the same as C5. Any better way of doing it than using a textbox that would be good also.

Pull Out Earliest And Latest Dates Associated With Text String In Workbook

I'm trying to pull out the earliest and latest dates associated with a text string in a workbook.

Min Max dates example.xlsx

i.e. in this example, I want one column to display the earliest date associated with DU 145, and the next column to display the latest.

From what I understand, I need an array formula to do this and have written the following, which works:

=MIN(IF($A$2:$A$6=A2,$B$2:$B$6))
(confirmed with CSE) - and the same for MAX.

Where I'm struggling is that DU 145 may be entered in the workbook as DU145, DU 145 or DU-145 and I need to take all of them into account. I tried:

=MIN(IF($A$2:$A$6="du*145",$B$2:$B$6))

As this works in a COUNTIF formula in the same sheet. But this just returns a date of 00/01/1900. I'm new to array formulae & haven't really worked them out yet. Is there a way to do this? I assume it's something to do with the way I'm entering text as removing the wildcard * makes no difference.

So I've got a vertical list of dates in M/D/YYYY format, and I'm trying to come up with a method to pull certain dates that are greater than a given benchmark and paste those values in another column. For instance, if I've got a list with 3/3/2008, 5/5/2010, 6/6/2011, and 7/7/2012 I want to pull only the dates beyond 12/31/2010 (so would be the 6/6 and 7/7 ones).

I'm assuming this isn't doable with one formula, so I would need a macro. But I'm having trouble just even coming up with the logical operator for just one date. I must be doing something wrong here. If my date in B2 is 1/1/2009 and I have a formula as IF(B2>12/31/2009,"True","False"), I just get TRUE, which shouldn't be the case.

SQL Statement To Pull Information Based On Textbox From Userform

OK,I have a spreadsheet that prints receiving labels based on received purchase orders that pulls information from an SQL server. The problem is that it is pulling almost 40,000 lines of data to sort and pull at most 30 lines. One of steps is that the purchase order receipt register has a barcode that is scanned into a text box on a userform. Can I use this information to filter the SQL data pull to only grab that PO number? I'm at a loss on where to begin with this. I have a sequence(or a series is more proper) of dates(without the hours) for. exapmple: 10/22/2007,1025/2007,10/25/2007. What I need is to insert rows with the missing dates. I found a VBE code for a macro which does the work but now the problem is that in some rows the dates are the same and if I have two times 10/25/2007 it adds the row with the next date after the first one and all messes up.

Make Unique List From List Without Duplicates But Hold Cell And Pull Corresponding Dates

I have my dummy data, and I have (what I think) is how I want the data to be shown. My friend uses Google Sheets, but I prefer Excel. I am trying to convert the code because I am a stickler for excel. Typically I can convert codes some easily, but this is way beyond me.

For Column A: I want to create a list on sheet 'Setup!' based on ids!D2:D="yes". If that list has duplicate entries, I would like only the first entry to show up, but for the next entries I would like the cell to be blank. (this is important for the next step) For Column C: I want to have the corresponding dates go with the name entry. For Column D: I want to have the notes go with the corresponding date entry. (I believe I can manipulate Column C's code to do Column D myself).

I am also going to upload a data sheet, and an expected results sheet.

Calendar Macro To Insert Multiple Dates Within The Same Cell

Attached is what I use as a Calendar Macro and it works great for single active cell use.

I have a column for 'Notes' and I can only use 1 cell per item so every time I have an update about a specific item I go the to notes section and put a date and leave few spaces then type in whatever the notes are. Currently I'm doing it manually and I tried to use my macro on the Notes column and what it does is to remove everything in the cell and replace it with whatever date I choose in the calendar.

Insert Image On Userform - ICO File

I want to insert image on my userform, but I have problems with It. Image is originally .png and has no background, which is what I need.

Excel doesn't allow me to use .png, so I had to convert It to .jpg, but then background is included. Even that would be o.k., If I could somehow change picture background to "&H8000000F&" system colour, but failed to do that also.

So I tried with converting file to .ico, and again Excel recognizes It as invalid picture.

I just want to insert image, and leave background same colour as Userform.

Search And Insert Data Userform

I currently have a search and insert data userform which finds specific data from the textbox and displays the results in a listbox. Then I can select a specific result in the listbox and insert this data into a selected worksheet row. The problem is that the userforms code is out-of- date, i have changed to workbook to a point that the userform doesn't work properly. What i need is a new userform that can do the same thing but with the code simpler to change in case of new updates. Here is some information what is needed:

The data that userform gets information from is on a different Workbook called Database.xls, Worksheet called Data and the Range is A:E. The Data is Product Information which is in the Columns A to E:

A = Product Number (The format is 000-000-00)
B = Product Name (No format is Text)
C = BA (The Format is 00)
D = Price (The Format is £0.00)
E = PQTY (The Format is General)

The Textbox needs to be able to search two different Columns A and B and also their representing formats. For example able to search for the product name or number which formats are 000-000-00 or 00000000. The Listbox needs to show the Datas formats like 000-000-00 and £ 0.00. The Insert button needs to insert a selected row from the lisbox results and insert the Product Number from that row into a selected worksheet row cell which is in Column J. Pull Data From Sheet Based On Criteria - Populate UserForm And Ask For Missing Data

I have a spreadsheet that is updated weekly -- but every week new info is added that needs a user to input corresponding info. I use a vlookup function to link to another spreadsheet that populates the info from previous weeks and the info that is missing shows up as #N/A...

First I was using a msgbox function to get the info:

I want all of that info to go back to the reference spreadsheet so it will be saved for following weeks, and then redo the vlookup to get the info into the new weekly spreadsheet (I can do that part)....

Userform With Multipage / Insert Picture And Format It

I've got a table in a worksheet. Every time the user double-clicks on one of the cells containing the names for each of the listed items, a userform pops up displaying information about that item. Besides other controls, this userform has an Image Box, that displays a picture of the item, and a Multipage.

What I want to do is to display the same picture shown by the Image Box, on to the Multipage, using the same file, but, and here's the quirk, aditionally, change it's size, turn it monochrome, and set its transparency to a different value.

I've attached an example of the final look I'm seeking. This was done by prior editing of a copy of the image and inserting it using LoadPicture, but this solution is too troublesome as this is done solely for aesthetical purposes, thus not justifying all the hassle a user has to go through everytime he wishes to add a new item to the table.

Insert Comment Into Userform Upon Entering A Textbox?

I have a user-form with around 10 text-boxes. Each one of them has labels.

I was wondering if there was any way to add a function similar to the "insert-> comment" available in excel? So that there would be a tiny marker and when the mouse hoovered over it, some text in a comment bubble would be revealed? Or even better that somehow using VBA that each time you enter a text-box a comment would temporarily appear?

For a variety of reasons I can't just add labels with this info. This info would be instructions on what sort of data you should add to the field, and the instructions in some cases will be quite long and the user-form is too big as it is.

Insert & Fill Missing Rows Within Sequential Dates & Times List

I have tried many different ways of coming up with a solution of this problem without writing a VBA program, however, Excel's date and time formatting scheme seem to be tripping me up. As a result, I am trying to figure out what direction to go.

I have seached the board up and down looking for a solution and I have found one problem that is midly similar but I do not fully understand the code. I have tried to modify it but to no avail.

Here is my problem:

I have 9 columns of data that are reported in 15 minute intervals for a little over 3 years. There are missing data in the data set and it would be infeasable for me to manually find and replace the missing data. (Over 110000 rows of data)

Example of data (Where "/" delienates column seperation):

Date / Temp 2m / Temp 10 m / Radiation / RH / WindAve / WindMax / WindMin / Rain

So what I need to do is this:
1) Find which data times are missing
2) Add the appropriate amount of rows in between where the missing data would be
3) Add the correct dates to the new rows
4) Add "N/A" to the columns that have no data

You can see that my date and time are formatted in mm/dd/yy hh:mm

Changing Dates Using Userform

I am trying to query my data, which includes a date field. If the user changes the date, I want to perform certain actions. Once I find the record, I can update all the fields with the userform. However, I can't compare the date in the userform with the date I have found so that it will follow a different course of action. Using the following I get the message whether I change the date or not.

VB:
If VisitorForm.txtLastVisit.Value <> FoundCell.Offset(0, -3).Value Then
MsgBox "Dates Don't Match", vbExclamation, "Sorry"

If I change the "<>" to "=", the routine stops whether I change the date or not. Something's working, but not right.

I did find that the userform sets the format to mm/dd/yyyy although the data is mm/dd/yy. But I've tried changing the data format and it made no difference.
