Move One Cell To The Right And Then Enter The Next Number

In my excel spreadsheet I used to be able to enter a number then use my arrow key to move one cell to the right and then enter the next number. Now when I enter a number in a hightlighted cell and use the arrow key to move one cell to the right the cell does not move my page shifts to the right but the highlighted cell stays in the same spot. I must of hit some kind of key combination to cause this. how to fix this?

I have numbers in cells d1 to kq1 (1 to 300) d1=1, e1=2, f1=3 and so on

What I want to do is:

In D2 through to kq2 it puts the number in to the cell that correspnds to a multiple of the number in b2.
That would put 1000 in cells m2,w2,ag2,aq2, ba2 and so on
In D3 through to kg3 it it puts the number in to the cell that corresponds to a multiple of the number in b3
that would put 1580 in cells y3,au3,bq3,cm3,di3 and so on

I am trying to use visual basic editor in excel. I have all ready set up my user form where information can be entered, but I ave having trouble getting the information that is entered in the user form into the correct cells in excel.

Automatically Move A Number To A Different Cell

i've got a worksheet with a column of unique numbers that i sort from smallest to largest; colA. these numbers are asset #'s of all items that i should have in inventory and all are barcoded.

using a scanner i scan the barcode # into colB however these items are on the shelf in random order.

as it stands i place my cursor in the first empty cell of colB (B2) the scanned # is entered into B2 and the cursor moves down to B3.

What i'd like is to have the randomly scanned number automatically move to the cell in colB that is beside the corresponding # in colA regardless of where the cursor is prior to the scan.

e.g.: 16 is in A16, cursor is in B2 waiting for first scan, first randomly scanned # is 16; so 16 is automatically entered into B16 instead of B2.

I having a bit of trouble entering numbers in Excel, every time I try to enter a number it seems to divide it by 100. For example : - 1 entered in to a cell becomes 0.01, 100 becomes 1....etc. I've tried formatting the cells and had no luck, tried Tool>Options but not sure where to look.

"Move After Enter" In Protected Sheet

I have a spreadsheet where only certain cells are to be edited by he user. After editing a cell I don't want the cursor to move. option/edit/move selection after enter is unchecked. All works as expected. I protect the sheet using options "select unprotected cells" is true, "Selected protected cells" is false. This seems to override the "move selection" turned off property. The option box does not work when unchecked.

I have searched the general forum and programming forum and see no cure for this. I tried a one line macro "Application.MoveAfterReturn = False" thinking if I set it programmatically, it will work. It does not. Is there a few lines of code that I could add to a ThisWorkbook macro that would reocord the current cursor location and set location to it after hitting enter? Or possibly an even simpler solution that I'm overlooking?

Custom Number Format - Automatically Enter Dashes At Appropriate Spot

I am needing a custom format for the following. I need a cell entry to be 1 letter, three numbers, a dash, 5 numbers, a dash, two numbers, a dash, and then two number. Example: A109-54785-13-00. The first letter will almost always be an "A."

To further complicate the matter, the entry is copied from an email and pasted without the dashes. In the above example, the number in the email would read, "A109547851300." I copy it from the email and paste it in the proper cell in the worksheet. I would like the custom format to automatically enter the dashes at the appropriate spot.

If it was all numbers, this would be easy. I created a custom format for the numbers, but when the A is included, Excel no longer treats it as a number and the custom format did not work.

Is this possible in Excel (without VBA).

I could use the custom number format I created and then later go back and add the "A" at the beginning, but that is as much work as manually adding the dashes.

In a large database with a large portion of cells that contains a flag to the left of a number "<LD 2.0" what would be the quickest way to move the flag to the left of the number so that it reads "2.0 <LD". This seems like it should be simple to do. I would prefer not to have to use a second cell and formula to do the modification if that makes sense. I'd rather do a "Find and Replace" if possible.

I am trying to do with this spreadsheet project,

On the "Master" tab, I would paste in the newest information received from our system weeklywhich is around 2600 rows. I want to then compare the Master sheet to the other tabs and if there is a new Serial Number present in column I, then add that row of data to the next available row at the bottom to the correct tab.

The Orange tabs Fleet Volume PC, Fleet Volume BW, Fleet Volume Duplex will house all countries and all serial numbers but Fleet Volume Color tab will only have Color Serial Numbers for all countries, column J on the Master tab.

So, the same will goes for the USA Volume and CAN Volumes tab, only those serial numbers for that country will falls in these tabs and color only will go in the color tabs. There are 14 other tabs missing from this workbook with other countries, just removed to keep size of file within limits.

From my workbook, rows 29 to 33 on the Master tab are new serial numbers.

Also, I want to highlight the data on the Master, after comparing this Master tab to the other tabs and within the Master highlight in yellow the cells that have new updated information!

Im trying to do a macro that will move data from a number of sheets based on a flag in column W on each sheet.

Basically if the flag in column W is "YES" then i want it to copy the whole row and append it (if thats possible?) into the sheet 'Journal'

I would like to enter data in a row with 4 cells of info. then hit enter and return to the first cell and move the row down. all four cells must have data entered. and all four must move down. i tried some code as below i found and i modified but it did not work as expected. this moved the row down when returning the cursor to A2. It also should not copy the data style of the top row.
