Filter In Userform

I'm trying to create a simple userform to look up zip codes by city using the filter function, but I'm getting a "type mismatch" error. I'm very new to VB and have been searching all morning for the answer but am stumped, so I'd really appreciate any feedback. Here's the code I'm using:

This userform will be called up from another data entry form.
ComboBox1=Cities which are in column J5 of sheet "lookup"
ComboBox2=Zip which are in column K5 of sheet "lookup"
I've tried changing the Compare Method from Text to Variant but still get the same error msg....

I have a UserForm that is designed to allow the user to filter dates on various columns. There are three comboBoxes on this sheet that are populated by linking to cells on a Control worksheet using RowSource in the Properties window. catCombo is the column to filter, dateCombo and endCombo are the two dates to filter between.
I have come up with the following code to activate filters, but there are problems (which I'll tell you about in a sec!):

I have a spreadsheet containing data relating to addresses, the postcode and house number are in seperate cells. I want to input postcode and house number into a userform (" find record") have that locate the entry in the worksheet, then return the 18, cells in the row to a second userform ("updater") to be updated/edited and the updated data returned to the cells it came from, by necessity some of the cells in the worksheet use data validation lists. I have the two userforms and have included listboxes in "updater" and have linked these to the data validation lists in the worksheet.

With the attached spreadsheet what I am trying to do is create a userform sheet that I can use to look up a specific date within the spreadseet. First of all I somehow need to populate the drop down box with all the dates that are located in the sheet. From there I would like a macro to go through my workbork and find all the selected dates and bring back the "Task #" and Site Name associated with the dates
For example if I put Mon 09 Jun in the macro will bring back
Site one - Task 1
Site three - Task 2
Site two - Task 1

I have a Userform where I use a ComboBox to populate raw A from a worksheet.
I use this form to update new data that relates to the selected item in the ComboBox.
In that user form, when I select an item from the ComboBox, I idetifay it's raw and display the data from columns B,C...to I in text boxes on the Userform.
I then set the "Enable" property of the text boxes that has data to "False" so that field cannot be updated again.
What I do today is if all the fields where updated, a message box will say "All fields are full" and I clear the form.
Now I want to improve my selection by removing items from the ComboBox if all the "needing update" columns are field.
By this I want to filter out the items that where already updated before and only show the ones needing update.
Here is what I have, I need to change the UserForm_Initialize section so it will only show the rows needing update.

As shown in the sample attachted Excel spreadsheet, I have a UserForm set up to display 2 colums of the range "Elist" using a ListBox. The Userform is called by a Button. I want my UserForm to display subsets of the "Elist" range thus restricting the users choices based on the results of a Filter operation performed on the Elist range. I wrote some filtering code that does select my intended subset of "Elist". I then use the initialize event of UserForm to set the RowSource of the ListBox to "Elist" hoping to display the filtered subset of "Elist". However, the ListBox continues to display the full range "Elist", not the desired filter subset.

I have a database in Sheet1, and need to make a drop-down list for each column title, so that it would filter out the necessary letters or words. E.g. I type "au" and see the words starting "au" in one single list (like aura, aubergine, etc..)

Currently I am working on a data entry form for CRM database using Excel. Now i am stuck at filtering and displaying the data from the spread sheet to the user form.
There are three text boxes to key in the filter criteria and a button which will filter the data from the spreadsheet based on the criteria in the three text boxes. Then the whole row where the filtered data resides will be displayed on text boxes on the user form.

I am looking to modify my combobox from a userform to Filter the list based on the first entry on what the user will add.
I have a code that will search for all entries in my "Control" sheet and passed this on to my combobox:

I have, within a module, the following function code that the user find the entry by adding the first 3 letters of the search they need:

I would like to know what to change in the function to filter the list, once the user adds a first letter and then press the dropdown from the combobox, to filter the list based on all entries from the first letter to only show entries with that letter.
If A is entered, then, show only the entries strating with the starting letter A, but at the same time if the user adds more letter to filter to the first then second letter:
If AB is inserted, then, show entries with AB only.
Where do I add this code also, is this another function or this could be inserted within my function?

I have a database in Excel 2013 and now I want that when a value (a person's name) is entered in a cell. That then the database sort of filters the list for me, so it's still possible to make changes in the entries.

I found a great bit of Advanced Filter code that works great, and fixed a problem of clearing a cell breaking the filter.
But if I want to increase the criteria from 1 row to 2, so you can start to include And , Or operations, it breaks the filter. Even an attempt at a manual one fails, until you put the criteria range back down to one row, then it's fine again.
I've tried changing the Target Row to >2 but that didn't work. how to make the criteria range bigger, and no problems of breakage if you clear the cells? It makes for a very useful automated Advanced Filter.

The criteria range should be AZ1:BC3, but of course royally breaks it...

Save advanced filter settings
Remove filter (or simply set to be 'select all'
Run other code (I have this piece of course)
Put filter back on with same selections chosen as when it was removed
(Need this becuase the code in the middle does not work properly when the data is filtered)

I just got into the world of PowerPivot, Excel 2013 and Pivot Tables and am in the process of creating a Dashboard which I will then be uploading to SharePoint 2013.
On top of page I added the new timeline filter which I've linked to my pivot charts. Now what I would like to do, is create an additional pivot chart which looks at whatever date range has been used in the timeline filter and subtract 5 years from that. So, when I select a date range of November 2013 - December 2013 in timeline filter, the additional pivot chart will show the details for November 2008 - December 2013. This is where I get stuck.
I'm using two SSAS cubes which I'm combining together in PowerPivot and then display in Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts.

I m trying to use an Autofilter to filter my cells with a Number Filter of is greater of equal to 4 and is less than or equal to 5.
But as you can see I would like to customise is using a range of 2 values which i have specified in Cell P1 and Q1.
I manage to figure out how to reference to this cell, but Im not sure how can i put my ">=" and "<=" operators into my code so i can get it to work exactly how i want as shown in Code 1.

I am in the process of making a database more efficient and am running into a problem with sorting data. I currently am trying to use AutoFilter to sort the data. When I want to then narrow the results further using the same column as the critical and there is nothing that matches the critical, I get everything from the entire database that matches that critical rather than what I want to see, which, in this case, would be nothing.
I have attached a sample file. In it, when All AF 1000 is run and then Selected MAC 2000 Wash is run, I want to see no results instead of seeing all MAC 2000 Washes from the original data set. I can do it using IF/THEN but I am looking for a faster way to do it.

I have many sheets which I am using the advanced filter to filter the data to a single summary sheet. Everthing works great with one exception. I have cell comments added with relevent info to to cell values. When the advanced filter is performed the cell comments are not transfered to the summary sheet with the cell values. Is there a method to filter the data to another sheet and keep the comments?

Can a drop box on sheet 2 specifying tile size pull data or without drop box , I know the normal filter is the best option but trying to spoon feed the sales team since some are weak users, they would hardly know how to use the FILTER option.
