Autofill With Different Average Ranges

I'm trying to calculate the average of every five rows. I have a formula =Average(A1:A5) in cell B1. When I do an autofill in B2, the formula would read =Average(A2:A6). What I actually want it to be is =Average(A6:A10), increments of 5. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I have also tried selecting all the B rows and doing autofill and that still doesn't work.

I've got a spreadsheet that I download a list of information into. The information relates to activities that are taking place e.g. start time, end time, type of activity (e.g. meeting) and duration (which identifies the length of the activity in 30 min slots e.g. 9.30am - 11.30am = 4).

The rest of the columns are labelled to represent the time in 30 min slots starting from 9am. What I would like excel to be able to do is to identify the first cell in the range which would be the cell that represents the start time in the row. Then from this cell fill cells in the row up to the end time with something - it doesn't matter what as long as the cell can be differentiated from the other blank cells in the row.

I don't think that I've explained myself that well so I've attached the spreadsheet for you to look at.

I am currently trying to make a digital time card for my place of employment. I has an odd set up and odd date ranges. The pay period starts on the 21st of each month and ends on the 20th of the next month.

The time cards have 5 columns for each week starting on Mondays going to Sunday (also weird its not Saturday to Sunday) What I was hoping to accomplish was being able to select the starting month of your choice for pay period and have multiple cells update the week date range.

Average Of Multiple Ranges

I have a list of grade from 2~4 (i have long list but for sample i made it short). I want to get average of all grades one by one as well as by making some groups. Like 2,3, "2~4" (all groups) then "3~4". All the things were going nicely with a drop down menu. But when i put average on grde "3~4" only then the problem occurred. Although I've done my work but still I think there must be some improvements.....

The problem is that people start at different times and sometimes they don't produce in a given month after they have started. This time I have a situation like this:

Column A - Dates
Column B - Equipment Type
Column C - Load Start Time
Column D - Load End Time

I need to do some statistical analysis (average, mode, medium, st dev) on the load times, which is load start time - load end time. As far as I know, I can't subtract ranges (column d i column c) within Averageifs function. I assume I would need to use an array function for this.

Macro Code To Average Multiple List Of Varying Column Ranges

I have a spreadsheet that has two different data sources (i.e., A and B). The amounts of these data sources (i.e., the number of columns) varies from sheet to sheet. I have to calculate the averages of these data sources independently and together. Because this data is spread across twenty or more spreadsheets, these calculations can be time-consuming. I want to do the following:
1. Locate the last occurrence of the first data source "A" in row and then insert a column after that cell.
2. In that cell, I want to get the average of each data source for each row of data (i.e., there are always 19 rows of data).
I want to do the same two steps for the second data source "B". Then, I want to insert a column after the "B" average and this column will be used to get an average of each row of data from A and B together. Please keep in mind that the number of data sources for A and B varies from sheet to sheet.
So far, I am working on code to try to " find" the text in a range (i.e., find the last instance of "A"), but I cannot figure out how to get it to get it to stop at the last occurrence and then insert a column. I have some ideas about how to calculate the average, but any of yours are much appreciated.
Also, the row with the type of data (i.e., A or B) is named because this function is part of a larger macro. Therefore, it is relatively easy to get to it.
I have attached a version of the file that displays how I want it to look.

E10 needs to show the average of the numbers that are in E11 through E24, and just ignore the errors.

I need help creating a macro that will search through my excel spreadsheet and for every instance where column A isn't empty it should cut a range of columns from that row and paste them in a different range of columns in the row before it. It should then delete the row that it cut the columns from and keep searching until it has done this for the whole worksheet. I can modify which range of columns are needed, but it has been so long since I've worked with excel macros that I haven't been able to do it.

The first line runs properly, but the second line bugs out with the error message "Unable to get the Average property of the WorksheetFunction class". I can simply do the math, but I thought that using the worksheet function would be easier than summing and dividing. I'm curious, though, as to why I can't seem to use the Average function.

Grade Point Average Using AVERAGE IF AND

I am attempting to calculate Grade point averages for my students for all classes. There are 5 columns of grades to be considered. I frist assign values of 0-5 to the grades then average the points. My problem is that I want the AVERAGE to ignore the zero but it calculates it as well. (I enter a 0 if I have no grade for that class.) I have tried the{ } to make it an array formula but this also did not work. Here is what I have, can anyone help?

I know it is huge. The syntax is correct. It calculates the average, but always for all 5 columns. It will not ignore a 0 in a column.

I'm using the formula =AVERAGE(B16:L16) to give me the average.

However I have a couple of problems with this. Firstly I would like to exclude the value zero from the average. Secondly to also ignore the lowest and highest values.

Example, if the values in the cells are 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 then the current result shows 5, by ignoring the 0 and lowest value 1 and highest value 10 the average should be 4.5.

Ok, I for some reason just cant wrap my head around this. I need to to get the average time per call of two rows, but they are based on how many calls taken.

so in one column i have 50168 calls taken at 4:21 seconds per call. and in the next row i have 597 calls taken at 5:20 per call. I need to see what the new average will be with them combined, and I need it to display in m:ss form.

I am trying to simplify my data entry and I have this idea that I do not know how to tackle, but it would be nice to have it worked out.
I am looking for an autofill macro that will fill column B2 to Bxx with values from 1 to max value specified in cell B1. Lets say I know I have 5 trees I need to enter. I want to enter "5" in a cell as a reference, and everything else will be filled in automatically with press of the button.

To make things even more productive I would like to use value from cell A2 and replicate it through the range specified above in column A2:Axx.

I have this ActiveCell.Offset(0, -1).Range("A1").Select. Selection.AutoFill Destination:=ActiveCell.Range("A1:A6"). However I need to copy the value down, so it is identical to the Range("A1"). At the moment it adds one year to each value when copied down. e.g. A1 = 12.01.09. and it copies it down so I get 12.01.10, 12.01.11 etc... I want them all to be 12.01.09

I have a piece of code that includes the following line:

Selection.AutoFill Destination:=Range("B1:B9414")

I want it to always autofill to the last row that has content in it. I have been changing the value to a large number that I know is always more than the content of the worksheet which changes periodically, but I would rather it always only go to the last row that is not empty so I don't have to go back and delete those extra rows.

I have formula in column E which I autofill manually by double clicking on the cross thingy of the first cell.
However I'm trying to do it using VBA, but it always stops at a certain row and not where the column D data stops.

Below is the macro which stops autofilling at row E7762

Is there a way to amend the VBA to autofill based where Column D data stops?
