One of my job responsibility the following up our store stock, usually we consume constant daily value form our stock, as example we used daily 200 mt of corn, 150 mt do soya bean meal and so on, I would like to creat excel sheet to deduct this value from the previous column daily automatically.

I need excel 2010 to automatically save at 09:30 and 19:45 every day monday-friday. Also need the file name saved to reflect the time and date it was saved - if possible.

My PC locks after 10 minutes of inactivity - unfortunately this has to happen because of where my PC is situated.

a daily report I have to create. On a daily basis I will be provided with dispatch information from a warehouse. What I need to do is create some sort of report that will add the data and then calculate totals on a daily basis. There are five columns on the daily report that I will be provided with but I am only interested in two colums: that is the product code and the quantites. I will then save under a week number or month.

In cell b5 I have =today() which automatically updates the date on a daily basis. What I would like to happen is for each day there is a new line is automatically inserted with the date so:

I have an excel file that I use to track all my financial investments. The file is already set up with a query to retrieve stock prices when I refresh the document.

I would like to be able to open up the document, and store the closing price of the stock(s) with a date in the next column over. With this information I can graph weekly, monthly annually, or any time period I want.

I have been searching for a couple of hours now, and I could not find anything similar to this. I would think this is a pretty common idea for many people tracking their investments with Excel, so if it has been covered perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.

I don't have any programming experience in excel so as detailed of an explanation as possible

So, I'm setting up an accounting book. There's a master sheet that needs to pull from the other sheets that are made. The problem is, with each new sheet that is made, I have to update the formulas on the master. I would like that if I made a new sheet, the master would automatically pull from it.

Example:

I work for an insulation company and we have all of our jobs, completed and in progress, on a master worksheet.

Currently there are 437 rows of data (but will increase), and columns A to N with various bits of data.

Row A is a location field - there are 5 locations currently.

I would like to be able to add a new line at the bottom of the master sheet, and then this automatically identifies the location from column A and which worksheet is it to be copied to and then copies the data from that new row to the bottom of the relevant location sheet.

I would also like to be able to update the data in the existing entries (e.g. when a job has been assessed initially, and then completed, I need to put the dates in) and for this to update on the relevant worksheet.

Each worksheet has the same format (columns A to N have the same headings in row 1, then data to begin in row 2).

I wouldn't say I'm an advanced Excel user (otherwise I wouldn't be asking this question), but I do have a fairly good working knowledge of it. Currently using Excel 2010. Would ideally like to be able to do it without VBA as it needs to be uploaded to Google Docs and for others in the company to access online.

Excel 2007 :: Transferring Columns With Same Titles To Another Sheet Automatically?

Excel (2007) user however I'm not very well versed with VBAs and Macros.

I have three sheets and on each sheet the first 5 columns (A - E) have the same title (all in row 1, frozen top row and with filters) there are other columns but I only need A -E to auto transfer.

Sheet 1 is named "Total"

Sheet 2 is named "Management Referral"

Sheet 3 is named "Health Assessments"

What I'd like is for any entry that goes into any row in both sheet 2 and 3 to automatically transfer to sheet 1, but only the information from columns A - E.

There will be dates (dd/mm/yyyy) in column A in each sheet and when transferred to sheet 1 they must be listed chronologically oldest to newest.

I also need all the information in columns A - E that transfer to sheet 1 to stay in their respective sheets.

appending excel sheet number in a formula. Here is the example.

In an excel book, I have sheets 1 to 50. In each sheet i have a standard format to enter the details. And in one sheet I want to keep some summary with required cells. I made a table by applying formula, for example in cell A1 i kept formula ='9'!$D$9. In this '9' refers sheet9. In the similar way i want to capture the data from all sheets.

A1 cell ='9'!$D$9
A2 cell ='10'!$D$9
A3 cell ='11'!$D$9....etc

Is there any formula to append the Sheet number automatically (like dragging the shell) intead changing sheet number manually. because it is wasting so much time.

Cell A1 shows a specific value (pivot table value), but same A1 cell value might change if pivot table is refreshed.

So I am trying to automatically copy A1 value to another cell but I need to keep track of each value when pivot table is refreshed.

I have been researching about =Value formula, but it does not work properly since A1 cell reference will change each time pivot table is refreshed.

This is updated daily and it shows patients that have been through the department, who, when and how long. This is then converted on sheet 2 and shows as:

My third sheet has a very similar layout to sheet 2 but is weekly, previously i have used the following to find a weekly total:

=SUM('sheet2'!B563:B567)

I now have well over 4000 rows and altering this sum to accommodate for each week is time consuming as sheet 2+ are updated to cover the following 6 months.

Is there a better formula or a way to use the current formula and drag it down to auto fill? Currently trying to auto fill does the following:

=SUM('DAILY ANALYSIS'!B563:B567)
=SUM('DAILY ANALYSIS'!B564:B568)
=SUM('DAILY ANALYSIS'!B565:B569)

I want something like:

=SUM('DAILY ANALYSIS'!B563:B567)
=SUM('DAILY ANALYSIS'!B570:B574)

I have spreadsheet with some very basic formulas that work out sale prices based on people entering buy prices. (It works out the % margin). There are certain areas where the user enters the data - and does not touch any other part of the sheet.

What I am trying to do is add a button which will remove the data from these cells. Almost - a start again button or refresh button. This way it will remove previously entered data - without removing formulas from the cells where the calculation happens. So basically there are cells that a user will enter data - and it is these cells I would like to be able to clear with a button or similar without affecting other cells.

Import CSV To Excel But Filename Changes Daily

Problem I am having:

I want to import a csv file to an Excel workbook. The csv file name does not change, but the workbook which it is pasted into changes name every day (it has a filename which ends in todays date, and is updated daily).

Using the macro recorder I can get the process to work for today, but when as soon as I update the recipient files name the next day, the macro fails.

Copy Individual Hours And Put Onto Daily Record Sheet?

I have the day of the week in B1 Emp Nbr in B2 Hours worked on B11

What I need a macro to do is match B1(day of the week) with the corresponding offset column in F1-R1, Pos and Post the Emp NBR(b2) and Hours(b12) in the corresponding column (F4 and G4)

I then will key in a new Emp and the hours and click the macro to execute the move over to the correct column and down one row.

Do this until I post Emp 999 at which time it will exit the macroOzgrid weekly hours.xlsx

The next day I will change the day in B1 to 2, corresponding to TUE, and it will move over to the correct column (H4 and I4) and post the daily data until I key in EMP 999

Then continue for the rest of the week.

Loading Data Into Master Sheet Using Daily Reports

So, I'm trying to create a database, of sorts. I run several reports every morning that leave me with the information I need, but I would like to be able to store them in a master sheet, thus creating a database. That master sheet will be used by my co-workers and, at times, my customers or boss. Add in a few hundred new lines every day and it becomes a task in itself just to keep the spreadsheet up to date, manually. I'm only needing to do this now because the system I use now will be shut down starting next Monday. I (someone who has never had any formal excel training) have been tasked with creating a new way to track orders.

I can create a unique identifier tag for each line, but I don't know how to program or create a macro/equation to be able to filter and replace values in the tag's row, based solely on the tag. The combination of columns A&B in my test report will give me the unique tags. From there, I need columns E-L to be able to be updated from the new reports each morning.

If Sheet 2 contains a list of items that I have updated during the day and wish to place into the master sheet (Sheet1). I don't know the language needed to write the macro and any necessary equations.

My goal is to have my reports dump information into a master sheet, but only replacing/adding onto existing rows and columns that correspond with each other and creating new lines when no pair is found.

I've attached what my report should look like after I've filtered out the unneeded information. It will be this, every day, except with a few hundred more lines.

Imagine Sheet 1 is the master sheet and sheet 2 is the newly uploaded information.

I have set up a datasheet with information to be used in generating several pivot tables:

Column A - Our Invoice Number
Comunn B - Vendor's Invoice Date
Column C - Type of Vendor (Labor, PM, Subcontractor, Material, or Equipment)
Column D - Vendor Name
Column E - Vendor Invoice Number/Time Classification (Column C is Labor, PM, this is either Regular Time or Overtime. If Column C is Subcontractor, Material, or Equipment, the Vendor's Invoice Number is enetered.)
Column F - Labor Hours Worked (Column C is Labor or PM, a value is entered, if not, formula enters "N/A")
Column G - Labor Rate ((Column C is Labor or PM, vlookup value is entered, if not, formula enters "N/A")
Column H - Amount Billed ((Column C is Labor or PM, formula multiplies rate by hours, if not, enter the amount of the Vendor's invoice.)
Column I - Mark Up Percentage
Column J - Mark Up Amount
Column K - Total Amount Billed (Column H + Column J)

I need to set up a daily job sheet (like and invoice) for each date listed under Column B. For each day, I need to generate a daily job sheet showing all of that day's information. The location of the information is based on the value in Column C - Subcontractors's data go in one spot on the sheet and Labor costs go in another place.

Run Formatting Macro For Excel Filename That Changes Daily?

I have an access database where I export a file into excel on a daily basis. The file is saved to a different filename daily because I have added the date to the filename. My question is I have a formatting macro spreadsheet so when I export the file in access it will run the formatting macro in excel to format the sheet appropriately. How do I get the formatting macro to recognize to run if the excel file changes on a daily basis in vba?

This is what I have in the formatting macro:
