I would like to copy all the text in the column to a cell below is what I'm trying to do
Sheet 1 (Original data)
Cell A
Apple
Orange
Apple
Grapes
Grapes
Lemon
Apple
Lemon
Sheet 2 (Desired Output)
Cell A, Row 1
Apple, Orange, Grapes, Lemon
The Original Data will not be a list a user can just type in the information. Basically I want to make sure I get all the list to the desired ouput sheet but do not want to list duplicates and want it in one cell

Is there way I can copy the BOTTOM cell amount in a specific column, to another specific cell in another workbook?
I update a worksheet with a new row of data each day. I want to copy only the last (bottom) entry from one column over to a worksheet in another workbook. I'm hoping I can just put something in the cell I want to copy to, to reference the bottom cell with data I'm copying from.

I have a macro that loops through several workbooks and copies data to one common sheet. Works great with one flaw that I have not been able to resolve. I am using the End Property example below, this works great as long as there are more than one cell with data. With one cell having data this takes you to the bottom of the sheet.

Selection.Copy
Need code to select from a specific cell to the last cell in that column with data where when the selected cell is the only one with data that would be the only cell selected.

I need a macro that will examine column A starting at A2 and working its way down copying the data in the first cell (A2) and then delete that row. If the next cells are empty (usually the next 5 cells) it should paste this copied value in each of the empty cells until it comes to the next cell with data in it. At this point it should copy this next value and delete the subsequent row and copy this value in each of the empty cells directly following (again, usually 5) until it finds the next cell that has data in it. At this point, again the whole process begins again repeating it self until it comes to the end where no more data is.
Here is an example of what I need done:
This sheet:

I am trying to come up with the most efficient way to copy data to multiple sheets within the same Excel workbook. The original data exists within one column on a summary sheet (could have up to 500 individual entries). I want to copy each individual entry to a unique sheet (that already exists), but in the exact same cell location within each sheet. I would only want to copy the original data value and not any formatting. Is there an efficient way to do this?
In my example spreadsheet, the original data is on the SUMMARY sheet. Sheets A through J would be the target sheets, with cell B2 as the target location for each of those sheets. My example shows the result of a manual copy paste value process, but I am hoping to automate that.

I have rather large Excel file that spans around 245 columns & has multiple users responsible for certain columns. Columns are chunked to provide data about a specific group. Every 72 hours, I need to provide to managers what’s currently on this file in a specific summary format.
I’ve recorded a macro that gets me half way there. Here’s where I’m clueless. After my macro deletes unnecessary columns, what remains are the columns for “Main Data” group + each of the 5 “Business” groups (Investors, Lawyers, Credit, Finance, and Support) which would have identical column headings.
(1) Name (2) Address (3) ID# (4) Control#
Furthermore, for each of the 5 “Business” groups, there are 9 slots (ie- a user can enter up to 9 unique entries for a particular group.)
Example- The Investor group contains 9 slots. Each slot will contain the 4 columns mentioned above. So there are 46 slots in total – 1 for Main Data, 45 (5 groups x 9 slots) for Business groups.
MAIN DATA (columns A-D)
Investor1 (columns E-H)… Investor2 (columns I-L)… Investor9 (columns AK-AN)
Lawyer1… Lawyer9
Compliance1… Compliance9
Finance1… Finance9
Support1… Support9
MY PROBLEM: I need a macro to now cut & paste all data from each of the 45 Business groups slots & then paste at the bottom of the MAIN DATA slot.
The final file would be 4 columns (as listed above) wide. Data from each of the 45 business group slots would be one below the other- all of it underneath the data in the Main Data group.
I attempted to record a macro where I’m copying a section’s data range starting from row2 to row4000 (I know there will never be 4000 entries. I did this just to ensure that all future data would be captured) then pasting that after the last entry in the Main Data.
Example- I’d copy data from Investor1 slot(starting at column E2-H2) & go about 4000 rows down. Then I’d press CTRL+Down Arrow key in column A & then click the down arrow one time to take me into 1st empty cell where I would paste my copied data. I was going to repeat this process for the remaining 44 slots.
I’ve added some extra entries to test the macro & the problem is that the recorded macro is pasting data in specific cell location in column A instead for looking for the 1st empty cell in column A & then pasting the copied data.
So far I've gone thought the net & tried to paste in a few VBA posts/tips that I thought would work. Here's what I have so far from tinkering around. I need someone to tell me what to replace the xxxxxxx line with. This would be the language to tell Excel to paste copied data range into the first blank cell in column A. I am trying to get excel to search a workbook/(or worksheet if easier) for a matching unique value and fill in its associated data. My first workbook has the SKU (A) filled in but not the UPC (B). My second workbook has both the SKU (A) and the matching UPC (C) filled in.
I need to take both workbooks/(worksheets), compare the SKUs, and if a matching SKU is found, extract the UPC from Workbook 2 and fill in the UPC field in Workbook 1, and if no UPC is present in Workbook 2, then it leaves the cell in Workbook 1 blank.

I have a spreadsheet which is updated daily. Row A of the sheet has the date in it, and every day a new column is created for the that set of data. I have the below code which works at the moment:

I want to use this same code on another spreadsheet to do the same process (I need to copy and paste 4 columns (A,B,C + D, into E, F, G & H, then tomorrow it will copy E, F, G & H into I, J, K &L etc etc)). The problem I'm having is that A1:C1 is a merged cell, then D isn't (used as a border to separate). So when it is copied I need to select the merged cell columns and column D (i.e. A:C & D on day 1) and paste it into E:H with E1:G1 merged.

I'm trying to write a program for work. One sheet (whereiseverything.xls) will have a list of parts column E and where it is in the process column (k). Column E of this sheet will have multiple part numbers. (Sometimes duplicated.) I would like to figure out how to write a code to Auto filter (whereiseverything.xls) sheet and copy only one P/N from (whereiseverything.xls) column E onto another Workbook Worksheet (Commit status.xls) column. After that the sheet must copy all of the locations of that P/N from whereiseverything.xls column K into and under the P/N of the Commitstatus.xls.
It will continue to autofilter and copy from where is everything, the "one" p/n and all of its locations into another empty column of Commitstatus.xls until it no longer has part numbers to autofilter on whereiseverything. I am extremely green on VBA programming but here is my first attempt.

I have a excel worksheet with the following columns: First name, Last Name, Email address, domain of email, product type, date registered. The list consists of about 50,000 entries. I want to sort the list by the domain of email(which I am able to do already) Once this is done, I want to find all instances of where a domain appears at least 10 times on the list(such as webmessenger.com appears 40 times, so I want to get that data).
For those instances where the domain appears at least 10 times, I want to pull those rows out of the intial list and put them in a new list(the new list will be sorted by domain and will only have people who have a domain which appears at least 10 times). To make this a bit more clear, The initial list I have is a list of people who registered to use the software my employer makes. We are trying to locate companies which may have many people using our consumer version of the software. When there is a large amount of people in the same organization using our software, it would benefit them to upgrade to the enterprise version due to enhanced managment features. By running this filter, I can see which companies have at least 10 users registered to use our software. Of course I will remove any Gmail/yahoo mail/msn/hotmail... pretty much any public email domains and just leave the ones that are obviously corporate emails.
So far, I think it probably has to be done with a pivot table... I was able to get a table that tells me how many instances occur from each domain, but I cannot get it to display the actual data(it just says IE. company.com 200, yahoo 120, etc... I need it to show me the 200 rows of company.com emails and extract them to a new sheet so that I can then follow up with company.com and see if they are interested in the corporate version.)

I have this code that I have been using fine until today when it just stop working for me... It's a simple copy and paste using VBA Code. The code finds the last row in Column A and copies the cell to L1. Below you will find the code I'm using and the line in yellow is where I'm getting the error.

I have a time card report which will record the time spent on work for each employee. Each month, i have to generate the time card report and copy the data to my master file. Is there any code that can auto copy the time card entry directly to the master file? I only need some of the entry on the time card report, some of the column can be ignored.
I was thinking of creating a macro that will prompt me to choose the file to import as there are different file for different individual. Attach here with the master list (Demo.xls) & the time card for one individual (Nov-KTTHAM.xls) for reference.
I want to copy the data on column B of the time card to the column A of the master list, column C to column B, column D to column C, column E to column D, column F to column E and column G to column G.

search column "E" for a specific text value (let's say "it"). When found, copy the value in column "A" for the corresponding row where "it" was found to another cell "F2". When copying to cell "F2", if a value already exists in cell "F2", then no nothing else copy the value. If no "it" was found in the column, do nothing. I will continue to search, but since I am new to VBA it takes me a bit to find what I specifically need.

I am trying to copy data from one workbook to another. I have an excel Database (Sheet1) with a macro that prompts the user to select an excel workbook which has the data I'm trying to copy.... I got this part down....From this opened workbook, I want to copy the Range("C2:C12") and paste into my database(Sheet1) workbook.
However, I need a dialog box to pop up for a user input to designate which row the data must be pasted into. The dialog box will search column H in the database (Sheet1) workbook to designate the appropriate Row # in which the data will be pasted.
Now the ranged that I copied earlier will need to be pasted selectively if possible. Range C2:C8 will be pasted from Column HG:HM and C9:C12 will be pasted from HO:HR. Is it possible to selectively paste a range in such a manner or should I just split it up? I'm not really sure the order in which I should do these commands or how to go back & forth from one workbook to another. I would like for the workbook filename to not be a factor.

I am having a problem with copying a formula and I know that there is at least one way in which to solve this. I have all my data in one row. A1 -C1 (for example) ... I am looking to reference these values to a column in another part of my spreadsheet, K10-30 (for example) How do I go about getting excel to let me do this? I know that if you want to do it opposite, like data in columns and copying to rows you would use =Indirect(Address(Column()-X,X) with the X's being numbers ... but I am not sure how to manage this in my scenario.

I am really desperate about this. I have a column of which I only want every 9th cell value listed seperately one below the other in a seperate column.
I tried defining the first two cells of the new column (e.g. first cell input is =B1 and second one is =B10, third one would be =B19 and so on...) and using the usual pull down.
