Copy And Paste Cells If Match Found

I have a spreadsheet (range A1:P5000). B2:B5000 would contain cheque numbers. Many of the cheque numbers would be repeated and would have common data in columns C, D, E, F, G, H, L and N.
I am trying to get VB code to copy and paste the common data when a user enters a cheque number.
For example:
When a user enters a cheque number in B3, VB would check B2 for a match. If a match is found, then VB would copy C2, D2, E2, F2, G2, H2, L2 and N2 and paste them in C3, D3, E3, F3, G3, H3, L3 and N3. If no match is found, then the user would have to manually enter the data in C3, D3, E3, F3, G3, H3, L3 and N3.
When a user enters a cheque number in B4, VB would check the B2:B3 for a match. If a match is found (in B2 – for example), then VB would copy C2, D2, E2, F2, G2, H2, L2 and N2 and paste them in C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, H4, L4 and N4. If no match is found, then the user would have to manually enter the data in C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, H4, L4 and N4.
When a user enters a cheque number in B100, VB would check the B2:B99 for a match. If a match is found (in B90 – for example), then VB would copy C90, D90, E90, F90, G90, H90, L90 and N90 and paste them in C100, D100, E100, F100, G100, H100, L100 and N100. If no match is found, then the user would have to manually enter the data in C100, D100, E100, F100, G100, H100, L100 and N100.

I found a macro that searches a column on each worksheet and copies the searched for value to another worksheet but. I would like to modify this to copy the searched for value and the next 10 cells in the row but I am not able to figure out how to accomplish this. I highlighted in red the piece I would like to modify.

I have 10 worksheets in my workbook. The two that I'm concerned with in this post are "Main" and "Completed".
If Column AA in "Main" contains the word "Complete" (which is from a drop down list) I want to copy the entire row from "Main" and paste in the "Complete" sheet without over-writting previous pasted rows.
Back in sheet "Main" I want the data in that row to be cleared with the exception of Column A as it contains a formula for sorting blanks. If I delete that row it will mess up my links on other sheets.

I have a requirement to create a master spreadsheet using a macro to copy set cells from several other spreadsheets and paste them into the master one in a list for accounting purposes.
So far the macro reads in the spreadsheet filename(s) and copy/pastes the cells to the master one - I need to be able to paste the values onto subsequent rows for each input sheet which is where my problems lies. Currently the row just pasted in is overwritten over by the following one, I need to go to the next row down but am stuck on how to do it.

I have a file which has in excess of 12,000 rows of data in 5 columns (sample file attached with fake data). The five rows are:
"First Name" "Last Name" "Name" (uses CONCATENATE to combine column A & B) "Email" "Date Attended"
There will be duplications in the list as people will have attended more than once over the years.
What I want to do is search through the email addresses (Column D with D1 being the header) and where there is a duplicate email address copy the cell to the right of the duplicate (F#) into the next available cell to the right of the first occurance and then delete the row with the duplicated email address.
I am on Windows 7 and Excel 2010

I am looking for a visual basic script (macro) wherin I can copy fields from one sheet based on condition to main sheet. Sample sheet is enclosed as sample.xls. Here is what I intend to do: two tabs are there in sheet. master and work.
Need to check in "work" tab sheet if x name exists and if yes then copy three cells namely Input, Direct/.Indirect and code and paste all three cells in master sheet in front of X name wherever x name appears in resource name column.... Ultimately work sheet will be searched for all names which are in Master Tab and three field will be filled accordingly. Finally all the resources in resource Column will have three addditional field in mster sheet taken from work sheet.

I basically need to copy/move the text in column E, from vertical to horizontal using VBA when column C is the same. Then delete the extra lines. eg. C1:C3 = 1, so all the text from E1:E3 needs to goto E1:G1, then Rows 2&3 can be deleted as they are no longer needed. (Note: there are not always 3 instances, this can vary from 3-10). Its a bit hard to explain so i have included the Sample-finished.xls file as this is how it needs to look once its complete.

I have found many posts similar to what I am trying to accomplish, but nothing that I have been able to modify and make work. I need a VBA script that will find a cell with the text data "Difference" and copy the adjacent (to the right) cell's data. I then need to find a cell with text data "Ops" and paste the previous data to it's adjacent cell.

I need a macro that can search a sheet for a match and then copy all 7 cells to the right of the match. I have attached an example of the sheet that will serve as the database to search, and a userform example that will be similar to the userfrom that will display the copied cells when a match is found. I plan to copy and paste the 7 cells to a different sheet so that the userform can display the results with the control source property. I do not need a way to add to this database. I know very little about searching a database so.

I have a workbook with 2 worksheets, Sheet1 and Sheet2 have the same column headings in Row 1 but they are not in the same positions.
What I need to do is read the column header in Sheet2 Column A (Cell A1) and copy the data from A2 to last row and paste it in Sheet1 in the first empty cell under the same column heading, which may be the Column D position instead of Column A like in Sheet2.
It needs to loop through all the columns in Sheet2, copying the relevant data to under the correct header in Sheet1.

This macro works fine on my machine but not with other users:

How would you prevent the copy/paste of cells that have comments?
Also, how would you allow cells with comments to be copied and pasted without pasting the comments?
I also have an aside question about the forum advanced search. When searching for multiple search words, how would you type the search to include all words, for example, "prevent" & "paste" & "comments".

I am using code to filter my 4 sheets Greater then 0 (zero)
After apply above filter now i need to copy multiple rows and paste on another specific workbook for paste i m using below code:
for 1st sheet with the name ("V2")
for 2nd sheet with the name("LV")
For 3rd sheet with the name ("F2")
and 4th sheet with the name("L2")
If I play above code one by one all is going very well,,,,,,or if use in this way all is going very well
But here is a big problem..........if any sheet have no value greater then 0(zero)....then code paste all data... e.g shssts("LV") .Range("C5:C54").Copy but C5:C54 have no data greater then 0(zero) and it will paste on another sheet c5:c54 and again new sheets data will paste below the c54 while c5:c54 have no data.
So I want if any sheet have no data with range is greater then 0(Zero) then skip the copy paste code or use like SpecialCells(xlCellTypeVisible) .

I have data in some of the cells within range A26:A39
These cells are populated via an IF function on another worksheet. Even though the cells appear blank (as in the value returned is ""), there is a formula in these cells. I think it's called formula blank?
I am looking for a way to copy the data from the cells within the range which are not blank (ie: not = "") and paste this data elsewhere on the sheet in a list with no blank spaces in between.
I anticipate that there will be 4 non blank cells within this range.
Ideally I would have data from the nonblank cells copied and pasted to cells

I am trying to compare a single cell's Value in 1 worksheet to try to find a match in another column (or a range of cells). If I find a match I want the result to be a 1 and if it is not found then a 0.

When an exact match to the lookup value is not found, the function goes to the highest value that is less than the lookup value.
What do I do if I want to return the closest value, but not less than the lookup value?
For exampe, in my screenshot, if my lookup value is 6 horsepower, I want to return the efficiency for the next highest value (if no exact match) for 7.5 HP. Function would return 89.5

I am using a For Each statement to loop through a range to look for the match to a predefined variable. I have that part successfully set up.
But - I was it to STOP looping once it finds the first match.
Can I do this with a For Each statement? If so, how? if not, how to loop until a match is found?

If in cell A2 I have the value 12 and I want cell A1 to return a value FOUND if any cell from A6 to A24 has the value 12 in it.

I need to pull data from Column C by looking at Column A. However it's not as simple as that. Under Column A, there are various fields, the first number represents a type of product and under what year it is currently in. So "300100" would represent a 3 yr product that is in it's third year, "210000" would be a 2 yr product in it's first year and so on. The problem is that when I pull data from the DB, some 3 yr products are flagged as products that are in their 4th or 5th years, which isn't possible. So I created an IF statement that takes this into account and ignores illogical combinations.
=If(A2="300100",C2,If(A2="301000",C2,If(A2="310000",C2,If(A2="210000",C2,If(A2="201000",C2,If(A2="510000",C2,If(A2="501000",C2,If(A2="500100",C2,))))))))
As you can see, I don't have the conditions "500010" and "500001" because it won't fit into the IF statement. Is there another way to go about doing this task? I've searched up the forums and someone recommended using the IF statement with VLOOKUP but I don't think it works in this particular case since I have 10 conditions.

I'm having problems with a formula. Here is what I would like to do:
I have a named range named "J46DATA".
If B5 returns "N/A" when matching to "J46DATA" and S5<>0 then return "DELETE" or IF B5 returns "N/A when matching to "J46DATA" and S5 = 0 then return " ALERT". anthing else can return false.
I started of with
=IF(AND(ISNA(MATCH(B5,J46DATA,0))
But it wouldn't let me put the S5<>0 after that lat parantheses.

If lookup doesn't find a match in the first column, can I get it to return an
"ERR" or "0", something that would let me know there was no match? Right now
it returns the value in the second column of the closest value.

I have at the top of a table the titles and then 3 rows under it. the titles are text..whereas the rows filled with number.
What i want in a cell is to display the text(of the title) of a corresponding value in the same column!..[simply 'look for a specific number in a table,and display the title of that column).. i input all info but returns #value error!does it not work with text?

I run a match formula which returns the row numbers of items i need to delete - at the moment, when a match is found, it will say "Match found, delete row 4" for example. Since multiple matches, potentially into the hundreds could be found - is there a way that i could run a script to delete the rows automatically when a match is found? So instead of putting the above "match found, please delete row 4" into an adjacent cell, could we just delete row 4? & then move onto the next row where a match is found?

I have managed to write a program to calculate golf handicaps. However, there is one aspect of the program I would like to improve and request your assistance once more. I have attached a diluted sample. It is very tedious to extract info from the Scores worksheet to the Posting worksheet in that I only know to copy and paste from the appropriate cells. The Posting worksheet will actually have 5 rows per player (as it will list a maximum 20 scores by date in descending order) and needs to be in alphabetical order.
