Sheet OldData has 4 fields Bo# / Tag / ORG / ACCT
Sheet NewData has 2 fields Bo# / Tag
I would like to copy fields ORG / ACCT from Old to New if the Tags from New match with OldData.
I need to copy the row data from sheet1, if the DEPT is HR and paste the same into sheet 2.

i found this code on internet but it's not quite good for me because it copies the hole row. i tried everything to change that but i couldn't.

Basically, I need to copy and paste upon certain condition (references) and paste related-datas in another sheet corresponding with these references. Every references are organized by lines with indicators on columns.
In attached file, see:

to copy the information from A3 to D3 in another workbook if in colum E "Delivered" is selected from the drop down menu, using vba code.
The thing is that drop down menus are dinamicly dependent. If "Expected" is
selected in E3 then F3 should be empty. If "Delivered" is selected then from
the menu in F3 i have the choise from, let say 20 clients
When I choose "Client1", for example, i wont the vba code to copy the information from A3:D3 range and paste it to another workbook, in the sheet "Client1"

I deleted the data and made up some figures but kept the format to protect privacy. Highlighted blue and green because it's possible to have the same name have 2 different types. I put in dashed lines to more clearly divide months.
1. For each UNIQUE "Name" and "Type" add a new row starting from last entry
2. Copy A,B,C to new row
3. Copy LAST (most recent) "End Balance" from column "I" corresponding to last person
4. Copy column "I" formula into new role
So Name, ID#, type, column D and the formula in "I" (excluding "Name" and "Type" duplicates) should be added to the end of the sheet with their new row
Unsure if possible:
5. Make old amounts (columns D,F,H,I) not count towards the totals
6. Totals reflect new amounts only so values aren't counted multiple times

I have a simple sheet with a list of costs (small version attacheds as there are 430 items on full list) when i enter "Y" in the move to invoice column I would like the description, multiple and cost details copied to invoice sheet. The added complication for me is that if for example when there is a requirement for multiples of that cost to be added to the invoice.

i have been using the following code but it will overwrite cell "D" regardless if data is present or not.
I need to copy and paste data with imposing a condition from one worksheet to the other. I also need a code to update an existing condition.

The procedure does not update the changed condition ( I have pass/fail as condition). Once you run this macro, the data will be pasted but when you change a condition from "fai" to "pass". The pasted data in sheet 3 is not updated. I either need worksheetchange procedure or maybe a code to delete (refresh) sheet 3 data before running the existing macro.
I have Name, location, status (pass/fail) and comment in columns A, B, C, D in sheet 1.
Attach is a sample of my project. I have to loop through B9:B80 in sheet("Raw Data") and capture the value of each cell. EG:
* if Value captured is 120A --> check with sheet("SP14F") from the row which contains the same value.

I have a bunch of data (by date) on one worksheet and I want to output results to another worksheet (in the same workbook). I am trying to populate a blank sheet with data from multiple sheets given a certain condition.
Scenario: I have multiple columns on each sheet, but only three of interest to me. The first column has a header "Part ID", the second column header is "Description", the third column header is "QTY". I want to pull the data from all three columns to the new sheet when the QTY for that column IS NOT 0. The three columns of interest are always in Column A, B, and C.
The only thing that may make it tricky is that the data doesn't necessarily start on the first row of each sheet. For example, the headers for the first sheet are on row 17, and the headers for the second sheet are on row 5. So on and so forth...
Now what I am looking to do is search my spreadsheet for specific criteria and then copy and paste these rows of information to a new sheet.
In my first spreadsheet that I am using as a database, I want to be able to select any entry from the month and copy it to another spreadsheet named for that criteria.
In other words, I want to find every entry for January, copy just that data's rows and paste them to the January spreadsheet, February to February, etc. My date fields are in column A.
I also want to do the same with representatives names found in column B.
This will break down the data for each rep and each month. Using the filter, then copy and pasting would be cumbersome.
I want to be able to copy a name from one sheet (Available Players), paste it to a cell in another sheet (Round 1 through Round 20). The cell that will be copied is fixed but the place where it will be pasted will be different and may be on a different sheet.
also i would like to change the color of the copied cell to "greyed" out or cut if it can not be greyed out. I have created a button and put in a macro that i created but have been having problems with it, generic 1004 errors that i can not figure out. i am attaching the document.
I have attached a 97-2003 .xls file with data for multiple store locations on sheet 1, and the desired result on sheet 2. I am actually using excel 2007, but I dont think I need any special features that it provides.

Ok so i have 2 sheets. Sheet 2 is a form that needs to be printed.sheet one will have data pasted into it by the user. The data will be placed in column a and b. If a has data in it then so will b. How to create macros. I need to copy a certain group of cells from one sheet to another, and then do it for x number of times. I'm just using the record function and now i'm lost. Here is the code i currently have:

I have Worksheet 1, with columns A to E. I would like a row to be copied to Worksheet 2, as soon as cell F in Worksheet 1 is populated. Also the row to be deleted from Worksheet 1.
So, as soon as F1 in worksheet 1 is populated and enter button pressed, row A1:F1 will be copied to the next empty row in worksheet 2, while being deleted from worksheet 1. So eventually all rows in worksheet 1 will be deleted and rows in worksheet 2 will be populated.

I have a workbook that includes 4 seperate sheets that are used to record time and expenses for 4 members of staff. I want to write a macro to select the data I need from each sheet and colaberate together in a 'data' sheet so I can combine all the info to run time and expense reports per client showing combination of all time and expense incurred from all 4 staff.
I have named cell ranges in each of the 4 time-sheets. I proceed to record a macro, select the first named range, copy and paste into my data sheet, do a control home then control down arrow, then one more down arrow to get to the first blank cell and repeat the process for all four time-sheets.
This works until I add a new line and then the data will only appear for the last time-sheet (last row of data).
I have two sheets, a data sheet with all our customers by ref, name and spend; and a presentation sheet.
In the presentation sheet I want to display the ref, name and spend of the Top 50 customers by spend, price high to low.
The workaround:
Copy all data from data sheet, sequence top down by spend, manually delete all after 50.
My only issue is that each month the data sheet will update and I want the Top 50 to auto update, without performing the workaround above.
Is there a way to do this without VBA i.e. pivot tables etc
Request is being used as the interface tool for something I'm building. It will contain entry fields a user may enter. I need a VBA macro that will copy data from Request (cell D5,6,7,8 and so on) and paste it into SAVE DATA (C2, D2 and so on). It must also be able to clear the data from Request and allow the user to re-enter new data. When the user re-enters new data, it will copy into SAVE DATA, C2. When entered a new data in Request, it will copy into SAVE DATA D2, when entered another data in Request it will copy SAVE DATA E2 and so on with DATE on top SAVE DATA C1, D1 and so on in which is data was entered and saved.
Example:
- Data is entered into Request D5
- Command Button to run Macro
- Data in Request D5 is copied and pasted to SAVE DATA C2
- Data in Request D5 is cleared after paste
- User can re-enter new data into Request D5, data is copied again and pasted into next row in SAVE DATA D2 and so on.
I have an excel file that has 2 sheets:
Sheet1 has 3 columns: item (column A), quantity(column B), details (column C)
Sheet 2 has 2 columns: item (column A), details (column B)
I want to copy the data from sheet1 to sheet2 like this:
If item x has a quantity of y in sheet1, then I want to copy the item x and paste it y times in sheet2.
When pasting the item x in sheet2, y amounts of times, i don't want to include the quantity column.
