I can't seem to get my listbox to deselect an item. When the user clicks on a day of the week in the listbox, they are given a yes/no option to print the sheets for the day selected. If they select no and change their mind, they cannot click on the same day of the week without first cancelling the listbox and re-opening it.

I am trying to take selected items from a listbox and put the selected items into an array. Basically I am trying to put the selected items into a variable that I can pass to other modules. I am close but something is off. I can't tell if it's the variable declaration or the code.

Returning items selected from a ListBox. I have a Multiselect Listbox with 15 items. Additionally, I have a worksheet with 15 columns (each one corresponding to the 15 ListBox items). I'm looking for code that will do the following:
After a user selects values from the ListBox (can be more than 1, thus the Multiselect), I would like for "TRUE" to appear in row 2 of the worksheet for each column. (IE: Column A is for Bikes, if a user selects "Bikes" from the ListBox and hits a CommandButton, I would like for A2 to say "TRUE".

I have listbox of information set up to have a user choose several items. I want the items to then transfer to another worksheet. I am using the code I found here:

The following code populates a forms' second listbox (Elements_lbx) with True. No amount of diddling (by me) can get the selected items from form's first listbox (Content_lbx) moved over to the second. (NB. the list box isn't the standard VBA listbox but an open source: ListEX from Marco Bellinaso.)

i have not been able to convert code for removing single selected items and could not find a working example.
this is probley the closest though cos its removing items it plays havoc with the listcount

I have a userform in excel....the listbox "listbox1" has over 1000 items....and i have a label "label5" also.
What i want is if I select for example 10 items from the listbox1 to be shown in the label5 directly....and of course if i select or deselect any item will be applied in the label
For example...selected items from listbox are;

Code while noting that the list box has many columns...so i want to select which column to be appeared in label.

I would like to insert the count of items selected in a listbox in a Userform into a cell. I have been scowering the internet and all of the solutions seem pretty clunky (or don't work).
An alternate way that I could do this is if I have the values selected be entered into a column and then I can use the =count() formula, but I can't figure out how to do that either...

changing two variables a various amount of times and running the same procedure and copying the resutls into another sheet. Seems like a perfect place for a macro. However, these variables can be chosen from a list that the user wants. So why not build in a listbox for each one. Now I have two listboxes one for variable A and one for variable B.
The procedure in theory goes something like this we change variable A from the base case and then run the procedure for variable B, get the results, then run the scenario again but changing only variable B abnd repeat. Then once, all of the variable B scenarios are done, I want to change the variable A and then repeat and so forth.
That is the background and my main problem at this point, is that have these values in two listboxes, I know how to do the for each loops and such, however, I do not know how to do them for values in the listbox.
How do I identify the values selected in the respective listboxes and then pull them so I only use them for the for each loop?

I think this should be simple to answer. I have a userform that has multiple listboxes on it. When the user makes a selection in Listbox1 it highlights the item selected then when the user makes a selection in Listbox2 it highlights that next item and the selection in listbox1 remains highlighted. What I want is to deselect the selection in Listbox1 when Listbox2 is selected. I have tried things like below:

I have a sheet named "Main" and multiselect listbox in this sheet.
I've named the multiselect listbox "Test", in the window just above the column A, next to the formula/cell value input field
However when trying to run a macro which is to return the selections in the multiselect listbox. I get an error i the VBA code that "object required".

On a multiselect listbox, is there any way the user can select a "block" of selections, instead of having to select them one by one? The list box I have has about 100 choices and it would be possible to select blocks of choices at a time. This is similiar to MS Outlook email where you can push the shift key to isolate a block of emails to move to a different folder.

How I can deselect the selected cells before ending the macro. Ihave a workbook containing about 40 sheets, and need to clear the same cells on 31 of them. I have attempted to define a name for the range, and actually got it to work once, however it ceased working on the second attempt, and I don’t know why. I have therefore gone back to the original code as posted below.
My questions are a) how can I deselect all the cells and b ) how can I use a defined name for the range so that I can use something like clear contents and not have to select the cells?
(I have also cleared all unlocked cells previously, but I have some unlocked cells in the other sheets I do not wish to clear).

I have a listbox control on a User Form. The properties are set as follows: MultiSelect: 1-fmMultiSelectMulti; ListStyle: 1-fmListStyleOption. With these properties the user selects multiple items from the listbox by clicking checkboxes that appear to the left of each option. Once items are selected the user clicks a command button on the User Form and the selected items are placed in a single cell on an excel worksheet. The excel worksheet contains an excel list of records. The records on the worksheet can be edited or added.
Let’s focus only on the MultiSelect listbox. A single item is selected from the listbox and is applied to cell G2 as CRUSHING. On the next record two options were selected. These items were added to cell G3 as CRUSHING; SHEAR. The next record had three items added to cell G4 as SHEAR; LATERAL BENDING; FLEXION. As you can see from the above example multiple items are added with the item name followed by a semicolon space and then the next item name. The user form contains command Buttons that allow the user to move to the NEXT, PREV, FIRST, LAST, ADD, and EDIT records.
Here is my problem:
I can check multiple items and have them added to a single cell of the current record on the worksheet. My problem is how to reverse this process. I need to move back to a previous record and have the User Form appear with the check boxes of the currently selected record.

I have created a user form with a multiselect listbox. The user form displays a checkbox to the left of each ListBox item that can be selected. Once selected the user clicks the SAVE button on the user form and the results are stored in a single cell on an excel workbook. The user form contains several other buttons that allow the user to view the NEXT and PREV records stored on the excel worksheet. If a checkmark is placed next to the option Shear and the Save button clicked, the word Shear would be recorded in the 7th column, current row of the worksheet. If the user checks several boxes like: Flexion and Lateral Bending, the 7th column of that row would store Flexion; Lateral Bending. The macro inserts a semicolon space between multiple selected items.
When the user clicks the PREV or NEXT button on the user form to go an existing record I am having difficulty getting the correct checkboxes to be selected to reflect the contents of the 7th column, current row. The ListBox control is named GeneralInjuryMechanisms. The code that I currently have for this section of the macro is as follows:

I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to return a value from the second column in a 4 column listbox, all I can manage to return is the numerical value for the row selected eg if I use: MsgBox listbox1.Value to try and return the result, it shows the number of the selected row in the msgbox.

I have a listbox with 8 columns. Multiselect is enabled, and it must stay this way. As part of my program, after the user presses a command button, I need to use the row indexes of the selected rows in order to copy the selected information into an array which is then placed in a different listbox, and then delete the items from the original list. Pseudocode of what I want to do:

But my understanding is that .ListIndex does not work this way with multiselect listboxes. I've tried searching for a solution for a while, but I cannot find one.

I have a userform with 5 data fields. The first two are listboxes and the last 3 are textboxes. I have recently added the multiselect option to ONLY THE FIRST listbox (MeetingSpaceBox). I can get the multiselect listbox to output correctly. The problem is, though, that the rest of the data will only fill in the first row and will not be added to any of the subsequent rows. The data from the other 4 fields should remain constant for each selection in the first ListBox or at least until either "ok" or "clear" have been selected on the UserForm.
Do I assign all those valuables to variables and fill them in after the Multiselect listbox data has been added? I assume this will mean a change (or deletion) of the emptyRow code.
