Run Macros Selected In A MultiSelect List Box

"I have 2 listboxes 1st listbox is listing all macros in sheet user can select macro which he intend to run and transfer them into another listbox
once he have selected all macros he want to run just press commanad but to run
it will pick all macros from listbox 2 and strat running them one by one"

I have this macro to ask the user of the form if he/she is the QC person:

Hiding Macros From The Run Macros List

Is there a way to hide a macro from the list where you choose which to run, but not in the VBA editor? The userbox I just created calls upon 2 different macros, and has a macro to bring up the userbox. I need a way to hide the macros in Module3 from selection, but keep the macros in Module4 available to choose to run.

I'm trying to create a drop down list which returns values based on what has been selected in the previous drop down list in the adjacent cell, e.g. if 'Apples' is selected in the previous cell then you should only be able to select from 'Gala, Granny Smith', or if 'Oranges' is selected you should only be able to select 'Seville, Blood Orange'. Is there a formula which would do this, or can I use a pivot table somehow? I'm totally stumped.

I have built a series of macros and want to be able to select from them in a drop down list. I can use a list or combo box to create the drop down list, but I am unsure how to write VBA to read the text and run the correlating macro (name of macro is identical to text shown in drop down list).

If this isn't possible, I would have to create a button for each of my 12 macros. How do I assign a macro to a button?

Triggering Macros From List Box

Under format control I have put the range of A1:A3.

Im trying to trigger different macros from each of the options available in the List Box...here is what I have so far.

I've named the multiselect listbox "Test", in the window just above the column A, next to the formula/cell value input field

However when trying to run a macro which is to return the selections in the multiselect listbox. I get an error i the VBA code that "object required".

On a multiselect listbox, is there any way the user can select a "block" of selections, instead of having to select them one by one? The list box I have has about 100 choices and it would be possible to select blocks of choices at a time. This is similiar to MS Outlook email where you can push the shift key to isolate a block of emails to move to a different folder.

I have a multiselect list box in a userform and need to transfer all the selected items in the list to Sheet2 Column D starting in the first empty cell.

I am using the following

Comparing List Of Cells To Each Other Using Macros

I have a list of authors for about 20 papers. These Papers are listed in sequential order from 1999 to 2005.

I want to track the number of similar authors from paper to paper. Thus I am attempting to create a macros that has the Papers listed sequentially when they were published and the authors for each paper, with the authors name in each cell. I want to create a macros that will compare the Author Cells associated to lets say the Fifth Paper with the Author Cells for the Fourth Paper (the Previous Paper). So that if certain authors come up in the Fifth Paper that were in the Fourth Paper, the # will be noted.

I also want this macros to compare all the Author Cells that have appeared in the past with that of the author cells of the (N) paper excluding the (N-1) Paper, and just note the # of occurences. So using the previous example. If we are talking about the Fifth Paper, it will look through Papers #1-#3 for any matching keywords and note the number.

I have attached my spreadsheet to make it more clearer. For some papers there are more than 20 authors as well just to note.

Validation List Calling Macros

Newbie user of VB. I need some assistance on a project. I have a form that uses a validation list ( cell c5) to populate other cells (c6, c7, c8, h5) using Vlookup.

This part works fine. On the list is an "other" choice which I need to initiate a textbox macros which would accept user input and populate the same cells with the entered data once a cmd button is selected. I’ve tried redefining my variables as ranges or strings with the same inconclusive results. The code as it stands looks like this:

Using this code doesn’t initiate the event.

Newvendin is the userform to enter new data only if “other” is selected. CmdEnter is the enter button on the userform with textboxes in it. I’m having a bit of trouble with it’s code as well.

Final question and it’s probably stupid. If you have more than one Private Sub Worksheet_change(ByVal Target As Range) sub on your worksheet, how do you change the wording on each so that it won’t cause an Ambiguous name detected error?

I have a listbox control on a User Form. The properties are set as follows: MultiSelect: 1-fmMultiSelectMulti; ListStyle: 1-fmListStyleOption. With these properties the user selects multiple items from the listbox by clicking checkboxes that appear to the left of each option. Once items are selected the user clicks a command button on the User Form and the selected items are placed in a single cell on an excel worksheet. The excel worksheet contains an excel list of records. The records on the worksheet can be edited or added.

Let’s focus only on the MultiSelect listbox. A single item is selected from the listbox and is applied to cell G2 as CRUSHING. On the next record two options were selected. These items were added to cell G3 as CRUSHING; SHEAR. The next record had three items added to cell G4 as SHEAR; LATERAL BENDING; FLEXION. As you can see from the above example multiple items are added with the item name followed by a semicolon space and then the next item name. The user form contains command Buttons that allow the user to move to the NEXT, PREV, FIRST, LAST, ADD, and EDIT records.

Here is my problem:
I can check multiple items and have them added to a single cell of the current record on the worksheet. My problem is how to reverse this process. I need to move back to a previous record and have the User Form appear with the check boxes of the currently selected record.

Multiselect Listbox On User Form

I have created a user form with a multiselect listbox. The user form displays a checkbox to the left of each ListBox item that can be selected. Once selected the user clicks the SAVE button on the user form and the results are stored in a single cell on an excel workbook. The user form contains several other buttons that allow the user to view the NEXT and PREV records stored on the excel worksheet. If a checkmark is placed next to the option Shear and the Save button clicked, the word Shear would be recorded in the 7th column, current row of the worksheet. If the user checks several boxes like: Flexion and Lateral Bending, the 7th column of that row would store Flexion; Lateral Bending. The macro inserts a semicolon space between multiple selected items.

When the user clicks the PREV or NEXT button on the user form to go an existing record I am having difficulty getting the correct checkboxes to be selected to reflect the contents of the 7th column, current row. The ListBox control is named GeneralInjuryMechanisms. The code that I currently have for this section of the macro is as follows:

I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to return a value from the second column in a 4 column listbox, all I can manage to return is the numerical value for the row selected eg if I use: MsgBox listbox1.Value to try and return the result, it shows the number of the selected row in the msgbox.

I have an excel sheet with 25,000+ emails in column A with hyperlinked emails addresses, Column B has different Subject lines based on the category the clients belongs to but on the same sheet, Column C has the following hyperlink :

To create a hyperlink of the email address with the desired subject line.

I currently have a macro that takes a user selected name and date and creates a time sheet for the selected name. This works just fine, however i have to select each individual person and run the macro for each person, how to automate that part of the macro, so it will automatically create the said sheet for all person at once, rather than me doing it manually.
