On a worksheet named Season Results, I have a list of venues in column A, and a list of dates in column B

I then have worksheets named with all the venue names.

On the venue worksheet, I want the corresponding date from column B automatically displayed in a cell.

Getting Data To Display From An Adjacent Cell

I am trying to analyse a whole heap of data generated by an image analysis package. The data is exported out in to excel, I then need to be able ot rearange it a bit and export it out to another program.

I have attached a smaller version of the data as an example. The example data set only contains 3 image planes with ~100 entries for each. A full data set contains 96 planes and ~2000 entries each.

So what i want to do.

I want to setup a workbook i can dump this data into and have it spread everything out over 96 different sheets (1 for each plane).

I can get it to do it for the first lot of data using a IF command like =IF('Object Data'!B:B=1,'Object Data'!D3,)

But that only really works for the first plane, as the starting cell for plane 2 is always going to be different.

So what i need is a formula that will say: look at the plane column, if it equals a certain value print out the value for the other cells in that row.

Is that possible?

Im trying to make an excel spreadsheet for work for working out how many of each product and individual staff member has sold

I have 2 columns one with staff and one with what they sold e.g.

Staff Member - Sales
Staff 1 - prod A
Staff 2 - prod B
Staff 3 - prod A
Staff 2 - prod C
Staff 1 - prod A

and have another table, the one that i want to populate, that looks like this

Staff 1
prod A =
prod B =
prod C =

Staff 2
prod A =
prod B =
prod C =

etc

I cant seem to find a function that will work out how many of prod A staff 1 has sold and how many prod B he has sold etc

i have tried things like countif but i cant seem to get them to link the staff member and sales boxes together, the only way i can think of is to write down an equation for each line, but i have hundreds of sales and that would takes ages

I have two sets of data from columns A:N (O is blank) & P:AC. Column A & P are account numbers. I want to compare columns A & P for exact matches, there will never be any duplicates in either of these columns by themselves. If there is a match I would like that entire row to align, if there is no match I would like a row to be inserted. I have attached a copy of a worksheet of what I am looking to have done.

Search Range, Return Adjacent Cells Of Matches

I can solve my problem with a pivot table, and with VBA easily...however, I'm interested in knowing if this can be done with formulas (array formulas using index/match I'm assuming).

Goal: On sheet1 I have one column with products, then the column next to it will have an "Y" in it if the product is to be selected (blank if not). On sheet2 I want to create a list of the products that were selected (having the "Y"). The only thing stumping me is that I do not want spaces between the product list on sheet2...just a nice continuous list. Example:

I have worked on the code – with as limited knowledge as I possess – to perhaps communicate my intention. I know for a fact that in the code below there are 2 problematic lines – and herein lies the root of my problem. The first line is: “Dim Day As String” In Debugger speak, I am told that this cannot be done along with “Set sh = Worksheets(Day.Value)”. However, in normal speak, I am trying to copy data from one sheet to another. When pasting the data on the second sheet, I am trying to make the code find the appropriate sheet that matches a Day value in Cell I5. Getting the code to execute this one action is proving to be particularly difficult. I am thankful for any suggestion on how to get the code to work correctly.

I have one column of about 10 names (each of which is unique). The cell adjacent to these names is empty and I want to insert a value into this cell.

The value I'd like to insert into this cell is located in another sheet attached to the same file. This sheet has the same layout, except the unique name has the value next to it and the order of the names is different.

I'd like the formula to determine where the name from the first sheet matches the name from the second sheet. I'd like it to then display the data associated with that unique name in the first sheet, adjacent to the name in the blank cell.

Attached is an example of what I'm trying to do. I've got a master sheet and four sheets, each for a different store. Each store carries the same five items with varying prices. I've set up the master to show the lowest price of each item and have the formula set to display the minimum price. I'd like column D to show the store from which the lowest price came. Formatting / Display - Field Not Display 0 If It Is Empty On WHITE Sheet

I have attached the spreadsheet for reference. All other sheets pull information from the WHITE sheet.

I want the columns for unit price, discount and total to be set to two decimal places but I also don't want it to show anything if the field has a 0 value (so if i only have a few items I don't get lots of o's).

To get the field to not display a 0 if it is empty on the WHITE sheet I have been using "0;-0;;@" which I found on the net. If I use this then it negates the two decimal places.

This also includes the WHITE sheet.

Worksheet #2:
In cell A1 is the number "1"

I want a formula in cell B1 (WS#2) that looks for the number in cell A1 (WS#2) in the range of cells A1:A5 on Worksheet #1, and if it finds the value of A1 (WS#2) in that range of cells on Worksheet #1, it returns the letter Y... if not it returns the letter N

When someone hovers over a particular cell say cell B3, then image should be displayed below this cell (sort of hyperlinking) and when the cursor or activell cell is not in B3 it should be hidden again.
