Formula to get Percentage: =(Promoter-Detractor)/Neutral
Need to know how many numbers of Promoters needed to get 75.00%
I have two problems sort of rolled into one. I have a spreadsheet with a list of skills to perform in cells a2:z2. Under those I put in dates where those skills are performed so a3:a100 , b3:b100 and so on. At the moment I have the these dates populating another sheet with the list of skills going a2:a200 and the dates in b2:b200.
Annoyingly I have been asked set it up so it inputs the other way so my problems are: The skills in the second sheet are in a different order than in the first sheet so its not a straight correlation between the two so I would need to search for the title and match it to the second sheet. Then the second problem is as the will be numerous entries I need to find the next available space in the first sheet. So can you add data at the bottom of a list??
What would be the code to look for the last row with data in it, the going through it cell for cell and setting 0 in all the empty cells ?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a workbook that starts the beginning of the month by entering daily hours in cell D3 (Day 1 in cell D3, day 2 in cell E3, day 3 in cell F3 etc). Column B has several codes, but the one code the macro looks at when going down the current day is a letter "W" for "Worked". Therefore, Rows 4, 5, 9, 12, 56 (examples only - it changes daily) etc. could have a "W" and when the macro is ran, evertime it sees a "W" it includes the hours found in row 3 of the applicable day i.e. starting on row 4 the formula is =if($B4=D$3,D$3,""). This copies to the bottom row using the shortcut (Ctrl + Down Arrow) to find the bottom. What I have done is entered Zeros all the way down and changed Zero Values so they don't show.
Where I get in trouble is if a zero is removed, the shortcut stops at that break thinking that's the bottom. The bottom moves as we remove equipment out of the line up or add new equipment. What I am trying to do is have Excel figure out where the bottom row is for each daily calculation when the macro runs down the daily column.

I want to divide all numbers which are greater than 300 by 1000.

How to do that? Is it possible to convert value in the same cell like using conditional formatting principle?
I have a spreadsheet that I need a formula so that when a number appears in one column, then automatically it will put text (only) in the adjacent column. I have attached the sample spreadsheet for review. What I need is if there is a number in column A then, put a " / " (forward slash) in column B. If there is only a 0.00 in column A, then put nothing in column B. I tried the IF function an it errored out stating that the " / " was not a number.

In the file I have attached, this code works great taking information that has a value greater than zero from Sheet2 and putting it onto Sheet3. I tried to use this code to take information from Sheet1 from different cells than Sheet2 and also put it onto Sheet3, but I can not get the code to do anything.

I was working on a chart to calculate my Amazon seller rating to see how many more perfect order I need to hit my next target grade. Here is how the calculation works.
Order with no problem gets 100 points per order
Minor problem gets 0 point
Moderate problem minus 100 points
Severe problem minus 500 points
Grade are evaluate by:
<84.5 Fair
<96.5 Good
<98.5 Very good
Above is Excellent
Total points / total orders = final grade (or percentage)
As of now i got : 53800 (points) / 624 (orders) = 86.22(%)
Now that I know what grade I've got so far and I also want to know how many more perfect orders I need to achieve my next targets or in case some bad orders come by and how far they pull me down.

I am having trouble using a cell reference with a VLOOKUP formula. i have 2 worksheets each containing an invoice number column. the first sheet uses the VLOOKUP to find a shipping code from a range of values in the 2nd sheet (the range includes the invoice number, shipping code and 2 other columns). i can get the formula to work by simply typing the lookup_value into the formula like so: =VLOOKUP(7128,'Detailed List'!$B$7:$Q$1500,5,TRUE)
this gives me the correct result but what i need to happen is for the formula to take the lookup_value from the invoice number cell reference in the first sheet for that record and match it to the same value in the 2nd sheet. so instead of the code above it would read: =VLOOKUP('F10','Detailed List'!$B$7:$Q$1500,5,TRUE). the value of cell F10 is '7128'. however, when i try this i get a return of #N/A and no matter what variation i try it still produces the same result.
I need to find the row number of a cell based on a particular value. I am populating a row within a spreadsheet with a value (the columns have unique identifiers). After that is done, I need to go to a different spreadsheet, grab different values, and place them in a different column in the above referenced spreadsheet. and it has to be done in a way that the discount rate can be calculated using Vlookup I am struggling to find the best way to write this table. i tried numbering 1 to 50 and writing the corresponding discount rate in the second column but this looks untidy and can't calculate greater than 50 as i am not sure how to write it in the cell so it reads as >50 and not just 50.
On sheet 2 in cell C5 I need it to find it from sheet 1 referring it from the word "Drinks 1" thats in Q1 and so on along the row

Second Question: Is there a way to return any counted value, for example the second-to-last number that is over 0?
I am looking to have the items in column K 1 through 16 listed from highest to lowest and at the same time post the corresponding number from column J 1 through 16.

I have a spreadsheet with rows of data. I need a formula that will return the column number of the last column in a row where there is a value >0.
Let's say that cells A1:F1 contain values. Some have values of 0 while others have values >0. I need a formula in cell G1 that will tell me the column number of the last value >0.

So the formula in G1 would return a value of 5, which corresponds to column E.
I am trying to get a MsgBox to appear if the cell value within a given range exceeds a certain number value in my case "8". The only issue I am experiencing is that the code seems to take into account any input from any cell, not just the range specified, and additionally since there are 7 columns in the range the MSgBox pops up 7 times, and I need it only once and if the cell value exceeds "8" only when input.
ideally i would like to do a named range as there as there is a block of data where this will need to repeat.

Is there an equation to count numbers greater than zero without adding an additional column?
I had a COUNTIF equation but realized that the criteria that I used to use required an additional column. The additional column I used to have would be something along the lines of =IF(A1>0, "x", "") and then count the X's. I was just wondering if there was another equation that could reduce that step.
With four numbers, I am attempting to "return" a number that is greater than zero, EVEN IF zero is in the array. Meaning, I need the number greater zero, knowing zero is within the array. This will be a part of a much longer concatenate formula.

I would expect the answer to be "5".
I tried: =abs(min(A1:D1))
This works great if there is a negative number (e.g. a -5, rather than 5 shown above), but when the numbers are all positive, the result is "0", I want 5 or the next greater number above zero.
How do you put an answer in a cell after subtracting 2 numbers and if greater than a number put that answer in. This isnt right just an example
=IF(a1-a2 is greater than 10 then put that answer in the cell if not just leave it blank?
