Force If Statement To Evaluate Another Formula Value

I am trying to use an If statement and wanting to evaluate another formula.
The formula is as follows: =IF(B6>=7,Table!M16,Table!M47) where B6 =REPLACE(D24,1,3,"") which returns an integer. In this case it is 6.
Unfortunately it doesn't process the formula value correctly in the If statement unless the reference cell is hard coded with the integer. Is there a way to force the formula to evaluate the value of the cell formaula first before doing the If comparison?

I am trying to perform a count statement in VBA as below, with the 1st Evaluate I get the correct response, however with the second option it shows a 0. The variable is obtaining the correct values as per the example of 6017Complete, this is proven with the MsgBox
VB:
Dim TillNo As String
TillNo = Target.Offset(, -1) & Target.Offset(, 0) & "Complete"
MsgBox "Till Number is" & TillNo
Target.Offset(, 10) = Evaluate("COUNTIF(C3:C123,""6017Complete"")")

I have a ss that has item descriptions, quantities and pricing.
Item descriptions are identified by a letter (a, b, c, etc) and in cells C20:c32. These are selected by drop down box. Item quantities are in cells E20:E32.
I want to evaluate cells C20:C32 and determine what letter is chosen. If A is selected in any cell C20:c32 I want to count the quantities for A in cells E20:E32. I can't quite figure out how to do this.

I need a way for tell Excel to NOT evaluate a formula. Basically, I want Excel to leave the value being displayed in the cell alone. The formula in the cell is a function that I have implemented in C++ and registered with Excel through the Register call.

I have 2 sheets (book1.xls and book2.xls) book1 has over 20 sheets and has my primary data. Book2 is for a report. The report I want to only display one sheet at a time, by me typing in which sheet to access.
What I want to have:
A2 = Sheet Name
C2 = ="'C:Excelfiles[book1.xls]"&$A$2&"'!$B$1" C2 should have the value from B1 on 'Sheet Name' from the file book1.xls
however, all C2 will display is the text, I cannot get it to actually do the reference. (appears as 'C:Excelfiles[book1.xls]Sheet Name'!$B$1 )
Is there a function to say, evaluate data output from another cell?
(less complicated example)
A1=1
A2=2
A3=A1+A2
A4=3 (formula to evaluate output of A3)

can I put formula to cells on relative basis?
For instance can I write "=A1 + B1" and have a change event the formula populate for the corresponding column that changes? such that a change in C7 for instance populated the result of the formula for A7 + B7 in cell D7?

I only want the user to see the string, not the concatenation formula. So how do I get VBA to turn this formula into an actual string.
I have seen some functions using ByVal and Evaluate with this sort of thing but this is just different enough that I can't figure it out.

In cell A1 is 13.00, the result of a formula.
In cell A2 is the formula =IF(A1>14.00,True,False)
The result of this formula is TRUE
In cell A3 is the formula =15-A1
The result of this formula is 2
why the formula in cell A2 would evaluate to the wrong conclusion? All cells are formated as numbers.

Using excel 2007 and I noticed some differences between how a caluation is done via PEMDAS (as I understand it) and evaluating vai excel.
The formula is just an example and doesnt relate to anything as such.
The formula is: 2*6+3-4/2-5+20/5*3+50
using [URL] the formula show the calculation as I would have calculated.

I have this running and Section A is working but Section B is not. I basically want it so that if conditions a, b, and c occur, excel pops up with that messagebox.
Condition A: Cells(8, 3) changes via formula referencing an outside cell
Condition B: The new value of Cells(8,3) is a numeric value.
Condition C: The change in it's value is not more than a given threshold
change as defined in Cells(8, 13)
why the second section is not popping up with a msgbox when the value of Cells(8, 3) changes.

This is my formula:
=DCOUNT(timeg15w!$A$1:$F$3909, "WPC",Criteria!A1:C2)
My question concentrates on this part of the formula:...Criteria!A1:C2
When I drag down the formula, it changes, as usually, adding 1 to the cells address, like this:
Criteria!A1:C2
Criteria!A2:C3
Criteria!A3:C4
BUT, I want the formula dragged down, adding 2 instead of 1, changing like this:
Criteria!A1:C2
Criteria!A3:C4
Criteria!A5:C6
How can I achieve this result?

I have a text file I am importing and using text-to-colums.
Some of the text is "+TOL" "-TOL" and when excel converts to columns it is forcing the text to a formula "=+Tol" "=-Tol" giving me #NAME? in those cells.
I can format the cells as text, which is fine for now since I'm using VBA, but if I need to use any formulas then I'm SOL...

There might be an easy solution for this, but I can't seem to figure it out. I'm trying to do a vlookup with the lookup value being #CFDMSMCSA*4. But the lookup table also has a value #CFDMSMCSAM4 in it.
It keeps returning the value for this #CFDMSMCSAM4 because of the * in the first string. Any ideas.

I currently use the following formula: =workday(H21,H23,J20:J34) which calculates my date based the date entered in cell H21. While testing I realized that I needed to add another variable to the formula for a specific scenario. When my Date in H21 is less than todays date I require another workday formula to be calculated. How can I add this if statement to the existing formula?

I am a sales rep and am designing a spread sheet to help me track my commissions, on occasion I need to split the commission with another rep I have the spreadsheet set up as follows:
J1 Dollar amount - the total amount of the sale. K1 fee% - my fee is negotiable so this number will vary by client this field is formatted as a precentage. L1 total commission - takes J1*K1 to give me a $ amount M1 split y/n - here is my question, i would like a formula that will divide L1 in half if I type a Y or Yes in M1 I'm sure this can be done but I dont know how, also would the formula go in L1 or M1 if I want the results to be displayed in L1?

I'm entering a simple IF statement in excel that asks if one cell is bigger then another. However one of the cells I'm referencing is also a formula, so excel is not reading the value in that cell. How can I get around this problem? Is there anything that will enable me to compare just the value of that cell? I have attatched the file and the cell in question is F21.

How to increment a formula with an If statement that transforms 2 values in time format and then as long as these two values keep beeing added in the cells the formula keeps active in the column.
I tried to apply the code for all the but this makes my file huge like 20MB!
You can check this on the file, go the "records" sheet, add the time in the "shift start" and "shift end" fields, then the difference value goes to "hours" in the sheet.

I am trying to put an "If statement formula" within cells using VBA but it errors at the word "error".
Basically what I am trying to do is put similar to the following example into a range of cells.. for example:
=IF(LEN(Verbatim_LU!B2)>100,"ERROR","OK")
...with B2 being worked out by the for..with and the value (in this instance 100) being put in by VerbLen.
NB: Column A contains a reference number hence not having this actioned on it and counts start from 2

I cant figure out why this "evaluate" function is not working as I expected. I have number/text from $A$1 to $A$5 to try and learn how to use this function but have not had any luck.
