Macro To Bring Up A Pop Up Box

Mar 12, 2009

how I would go about writing a macro that would pop up if a value in a certain cell is greater than a set value. For example, if the cell b1 has a value of >50, I would want an alert box to pop up saying "Over Range". Ideally this should be automatic as soon as another value is entered into cell a1.

How To Bring Up Find (Ctrl-f) In A Macro

Dec 13, 2013

Been using this code...

Sub Macro2()
'
' Macro2 Macro
' Macro recorded 11/28/2012 by Doug Garn
'
'
Dim Rng As Range
Set Rng = Range(ActiveCell, ActiveCell.Offset(0, 3))
Rng.Select

[Code]...

What it does, I hilite (put focus on 1 cell) a cell and it copies that cell and 3 more to the left, switches to 2nd xls file, pastes that, puts the cell focus on next line, then goes back to the first sheet and I just have it select a random cell(s) so it does a Ctrl-F properly.

Problem is the 3 ways I have above to bring up the find box aren't working for me. It won't find anything and I don't understand why. And I hope I explained this correctly.

Macro To Bring Up Save As Dialog Box

Feb 20, 2007

I am modifying a corporate macro that is used in to create a standard technical letter. This standard file has 6 macros, that once used to create the letter, are never used again. I know, the first thing that jumps out is to create an add-in. I'd prefer not to got hat route at the moment for various reasons.

What I'm looking to do is after the letter is created, and the print macro is called and prints the letter, all macros are removed (already found help for this on this site), then check to see if the file has been saved, or still has the template name, and then either save or bring up the save as dialog box for the user to save the file with the appropriate name and folder.

Macro Dealing With Images

Aug 11, 2008

I am in serious need of a macro that will search a folder for image names and replace them witha determined image name col. If this is possible it would be a live saver.

For an example

Skus.................Image Name from File (Imported)........Renamed Image

725564..............725564.jpg.................................."Text that I insert"
894646..............atol-894646.jpg............................"Text that I insert"
713246..............713246-atoll.jpg..........................."Text that I insert"

So baically I need images to be searched by sku and replaced with determined image name from a different column.

Macro For Embedding Images Versus Inserting

Apr 7, 2014

I am trying to make a macro that will embed images into a worksheet for my company. I researched online and put one together from stuff I've seen posted but when I email the file, the receiver can not see the image. I believe it is because "inserting" a picture only inserts a link to the picture but not the actual picture. Is there a way to embed the picture using the same macro without the sender having to send the picture and the worksheet?

Sub photo1()
'
' photo1 Macro
'
'
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
'varible Picture1 is inserted down below - ***change both***
Picture1 = Application.GetOpenFilename("Picture,*.JPG,Picture,*.JPEG,Picture,*.GIF,Picture,*.BMP")
'edit "("Picture,*.*")" section to add or chanve visible file types

Macro To Create Outlook Events From Excel Data?

Oct 24, 2012

Currently I have been tasked with trying to develop a link between an excel spreadsheet and outlook. What they want is for a button to pickup new entries into the sheet and then create outlook events based on several criteria. The first been that is put on several shared calendars, second that the category of the event is call "BID" and gold in color. The last part is where specific information from the spreadsheet fits into the event areas (ie. subject, location, start time, body). I did find code that is a possible solution but manipulating it to what i need. Here is the code.

Code:
Option Explicit
Sub AddToOutlook()
Dim OL As Outlook.Application

[Code]....

As you can see for the most part I have been able to fill in most of the program with what i needed. I have column B on the sheet that has r's on it. If there is an r in that column then the macro creates information from that row, else it skips to the next one. so i need a loop. Also like stated above, how do you make it an event and not a meeting, how do you set the category and lastly for the boy how do i set it so it copies the entire row (column A, Column C to Column L)?

Outlook Not Recognizing Digital Certificate On Excel Macro

May 30, 2013

I've digitally signed a macro in Excel, where I'm sending mail from using outlook, but I can't seem to get Outlook to recognise the certificate in outlook, even though both programs have my name as a trusted publisher...... so still getting the "A program is automatically trying to send mail on your behalf" Pop up.

How to get outlook to recognise the certificate on the macro that I'm running from excel?

The main issue being it is sending roughly 50 separate emails, and to wait five seconds and manually have to click 'yes' for each one is not really desirable!

Macro To Send Email From Excel Through Outlook Basis Of Different Conditions

Aug 11, 2014

creating a macro to send email from excel through Outlook basis of different conditions and with embedded text and subject.

There 2 workbooks attached with this post. The workbook named "Data" contains the data and the workbook named "Emails" contains the Dealer Names (in Column A), the Email ids of the contact person (Column B, C and D), the subject (in Column E) and mail content (in Column F).

I need a Macro which first split the data basis of "Dealer Name" Column F into multiple sheets from "Data" sheet. Now, each sheet will contain only the Individual dealer's data. The data whose ageing is 2 or more than 2 days (in Column H) is highlighted in yellow.

Now, I need to send a separate email to dealers with their data details from range A to F (including headers) as an embedded text with subject and mail content which is present in "Emails" workbook.

Now the twist is, if any dealer having the Aging value in Column H is 2 or more than 2 days (highlighted in yellow color) than the email should be sent in CC to Column D email ids but if there is no Aging more than 2 days than the email should be sent in CC to Column C email ids.

"To" email ids (in Column B), subject (in Column E) and mail body (in Column F) will remain same in both conditions. Column A is containing the Dealer Names through which macro will identify the email ids.
