I have a problem with attached workbook, I downloaded from this forum,its what I need but problem is that I don't know much about macro & vba.The formula works fine when I make a single letter worksheet but when I enter a name it doesn't.

I worked on a workbook which has multiple worksheets( mine has 6). The data doesn't start from A1. I want to copy the data from each worksheet into a sheet called summary. I want to create the macro that would only copy the heading row once.

Relative Formula Copied Across Worksheets

It's been a long time since I have worked with Excell, it use to be the " $ " that made things absolute or relative.

I have this formula:

='1'!C194+C193 on sheet 1 named "1" without the " ". I need to copy it across 31 sheets. I thought that it was the " ! ", without the " ", that makes the address absolute so I took it out and then attemped to copie it to other sheets. The idea was that the formula would then read: ='2'!C194+C193 on sheet 2, and ='3'!C194+C193 on sheet 3 and so on. The formula is in the exact same location on each sheet, C194. But this won't work. I am at this time doing each formula one at a time. I have many workbooks that will use the same style of copy and paste; about 15 workbooks each with 31 sheets.

It would help if someone could explain how to save time. I do know how to use the Ctrl to select different cells and how to use Ctrl+Page UP/Down to change tabs. I just have to get the formula correct.

I am working a project to move data from Rows 4:35 on a large number of worksheets (all in the same workbook) to Sheet 1 of the workbook by " looping through sheets". I need the data to be compiled. I am a novice at VBA, the code below was given to me (LoopthroughSheets) and the middle portion is a macro I recorded. I cannot get them to work together.

Copy Rows Into Appropriate Worksheets Meeting Criteria

I have a worksheet that contains 2 Rn managers per 3 Site and 2 TSR managers per 3 Site.
I want to be able to sort these managers by Site into 6 tabs: 3 RN tabs and 3 TSR tabs.
I want to keep the original worksheet as is and copy the appropriate rows to the designated worksheets labeled SACRN SACTSR VALRN VALTSR and so on. The data range is A:M

The columns of value is A (JOB) and B (SITE) and here is the sample of the data

I want to copy all rows that have a value in say colum B from differenct worksheets to a summary sheet, it should stop when there is no data in colum B and then go to the next sheet.

I have a workbook with many (25) worksheets which all have the same structure, column headings, etc. but vary as to the number of rows. I would like to search all worksheets in workbook and copy to worksheet "120" only those rows where column C is "120" and column E is "1-00053-".

Ideally, input boxes would be used to enter these criteria so that it can be used for different scenarios in which these values will vary.

I have a workbook that has several sheets in it with various rows of data on each sheet. I would like to have a macro to loop through all the sheets in the workbook and copy and paste the rows into a new summary sheet. The rows to be copied should only have data in Column A, in other words if Column A of a row is blank I want it skipped. Also Row 1 of every sheet contains my headers, and I am only using columns A through M. It needs to be able to copy rows even when autofilter is in use.

I have been at this for days and i can't quite get it right.

I have multiple worksheets of clients all formatted the same.

I need a Macro/VBA that will take from Each sheet onto a master sheet the Name of the Client(Cell I1 from the sheet)

Under the name I need the text Authorization #: then the data(C3)
Under that I need the text Dates of Service Expiration: then the data (D5)
Then the text 90801 Balance: then the data from (C30)
Then the text 90806 Balance: then the data from (F30)
Then the text 90847 Balance: then the data from (I30)
Then the text 90853 Balance: then the data from (L30)

I'm getting a Run tim error 438 object doesn't support this property or method for the If ws line. All i'm trying to do is copy the A column results starting at A5 from each worksheet listed into the active worksheet starting at A128. hiding any blank cells or cells with errors (I.e. #N/A) would be great as well.

My code doesn't work, it hangs up on ws.copy every single time, on Excel 2007 and prior versions.

Copy And Paste Macro W/o Switching Worksheets

I'm writing some macros in excel in an effort to transfer over from Lotus 1-2-3 but have hit a major roadbump. The macro is fairly complex and takes a while to run and I'm trying to cut down on the Run Time. As of right now lotus does it about 6x faster. I think a big roadblock here is that in the macro I built in excel when copying and pasting values into another worksheet, the coding has to

1)select the cell to copy
2)switch worksheets
3)select the cell to copy to
4)paste or paste special into that cell
5)switch back to first worksheet
Etc...

for every single value I want to copy over. With lotus it was possible to just copy values to an defined name in another worksheet without leaving the current one. This would greatly decrease runtimes and I was wondering if anyone knew how to code for this.

I need to build a macro which copies 3 rows every day and pastes the row data into an identical sheet. The three rows will have column "D" as =today(). As the days progress the three rows will change accordingly ( tag to the today's date)

Loop Command Macro To Copy Data Between Worksheets

I am having trouble creating a macro for an excel file I am working on. I do not have much experience writing macros, so I apologize for any confusion. I have created a simplified version of the file I am attempting to write a macro for and attached it to my post here.

At this point it would be helpful for you to open up the attached file so that you can understand my explanation.

Basically what I want the macro to do is:

1. Match up "Product" on Wksht(Input) with "Product" on Wksht(Data).

2. Copy the "Usage per ton" and "Dollars per ton" values corresponding to the given product from Wksht(Input) to Wksht(Data) for the correct month. (The user will manually enter the month, ie "August 09" into Wksht(Input) each month when he runs the macro.)
++The color fills will not exist on my finished macro. I only put them there to illustrate the values that will be copied and pasted.

I want the macro to be written with Loop commands so that it will check to be sure the product number matches with the given location for pasting the data values. I should also note I use PasteSpecial_Values because of the formulas in the cells on Wksht(Input).

My problem is as such; each month I receive an application for payment. This will contain around 20-30 worksheets. However I only need to interrogate around 3-4 specific ones. The worksheets I require contain data describing the plant/equipment a company has purchased, or materials purchased over a period of time. Each month the worksheets are updated with the previous months data appended to the bottom. I am required to established if the equipments have been purchased at the correct rate.

The worksheets are all protected thus in order to interrogate them I am required to copy an paste their contents into a new work book in order to format them and insert my new "assessment" columns. I need to keep the work sheets separate in the new work book as they have different layouts however they have the same layout and work sheet names each month.

I needs a macro which would allow me to open up a new book them copy the specific worksheets from a specific file into the new work book. I then have a separate macro which re-formats them into the layout I require.

I have two columns. The first is imported NAMES, ADDRESSES, AND CSZ on three lines, repeating over and over again. Several hundred names, addresses, csz. The SECOND column is a formula which picks up ONLY the text name in the first column. The SECOND column will just be one NAME after another, so the formulas will SKIP two rows in the first column. HOW do I copy down / propagate relative formulas to do this

I have one master worksheet named "Season" and 30 other worksheets named "1,2,3,4 and so on to 30". I ideally want to copy the shapes (msoShapeOval) from the worksheets- "1-30" to worksheet- "Season". When the shapes (msoShapeOval) are copied from worksheets "1-30"

I want them to keep thier position that they were in when copied to worksheet- "Season".

The shapes (msoShapeOval) are in range "A1:AZ43" in worksheets "1-30" and would be placed in worksheet "Season" range "A1:AZ43"

Relative Or Absolute References? (each Day Is Exactly 10 Rows)

To simplify matters each day is exactly 10 rows (including header).

I already have code in column D that populates each D row IF it is the first unique occurance of column B for each day.
The forumla in column E for rows 2-10 put a daily total by each unique occurance.

The problem:
Since I am using absolute references in E2-E10 to contain the totals for that day if I copy E-2 -> E10 to E12-E20 the totals will be incorrect.

If I use relative references in the formula it changes the range for the day which is also produces incorrect totals.

Question:

How would I copy the formulas in column E to the addtional days so that the ranges follow for the specific 10 row day that they are intended?

Copy Down Formula Macro Without Knowing How Many Rows To Copy Down

I have a macro that inserts a formula on the first row and then copies it down. The problem is the row count is variable but I know it won't exceed 5000 so I just copy it down 5000. For the blank rows I get the ugly #NAME, #VALUE, etc errors.

I know there are ways to supress those error messages, but how about a way so that the macro checks to see how many rows are populated so it doesn't copy down on the blank rows.
