Multiline Textbox Paste To Multiple Cells

I've been looking on the forum for hours, but couldn't find exactly what I need.

I have a textbox that the user enters muliple lines of text. I, then, copy the text to a sheet. The problem I'm having is the pasted text is all in one cell. I would like each line to be in a different cell.

My textbox has multiline = true, wordwrap = true, EnterKeyBehavior = true.

Match Multiline Textbox Item To Column B3 In Excel

I have Useform1 & Textbox1 & Textbox2 & CommandButton1

*Textbox1 = Identifier where to put the "X" mark when data is found
*TextBox2 = The User Data 'It is a multiline textbox
*CommandButton1 = Execute the macro
*Excel Column "B3" = Where the textbox2 data will be compared. this one has default data.
*Excel Row 2 = the identifier where to put the "X" mark when the data is found.

The user will enter data in textbox2, For each TextBox2 Value it will be compared in the Data in Column B3 only If the Textbox1 Value found in Row2 which has the codes. Then when the Value is found. it will mark with "X" in the column where the TextBox1 value found. see my screenshot.

Paste Multiline Value Into Single Cell As Part Of Macro?

I'm trying to write a macro, and the first thing I need it to do is paste a value into the currently selected cell. This value, though, will usually be multiline. So when I try to do it now, it pastes into the selected cell and the cells below it (one for each line of the pasted value). When I'm pasting manually, I avoid this by pressing F2 to edit the cell first, and then pasting. But how can I do this using a macro? Is there a type of paste command that will insert the multiline value from the clipboard into the selected cell?

Splitting Multiline Cells Into Separate Rows

I basically have a five column spreadsheet containing address information. While most cells only contain one piece of information, I have quite a few cells that have multiple lines of data in them because the individual has more than one address.

Here is an example. Note that Rows 1-2 contain single address info for each individual person. However, row 3 contains an individual with 3 pieces of address information in the four right hand columns:

Row 1: Unique ID | Name | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code
Row 2: Unique ID | Name | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code
Row 3: Unique ID | Name | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code

[carriage return in street address, city, state and zip cells]

--------------------------------- |Street Address | City | State | Zip Code

[carriage return in street address, city, state and zip cells]

--------------------------------- |Street Address | City | State | Zip Code

Row 4: Unique ID | Name | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code
Row 5: Unique ID | Name | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code

Please note that some individuals have 2-4 different addresses.

I would like to manipulate the 5 rows of example data above so that when I am done I have the following:

1. 7 rows of data (5 individuals with 7 total addresses)
2. Automatically copy and paste the unique id number and name into the two new rows that were created so that I have the following:

Row 1: Unique ID - 001 | Joe Chang | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code
Row 2: Unique ID - 002 | Joey Chung | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code
Row 3: Unique ID - 003 | John Smith | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code
Row 4: Unique ID - 003 | John Smith | Street Address | City | State | Zip Code

Textbox Content Into Multiple Cells

I need to split content from a textbox into many cells.

The textbox isn't multiline and will contain content such as:

Rooney 18, Villa 27, Parker 54

Now I need each scorer placed into a separate cell each.

I've created a variable number (i) of text boxes at run time (i also named them, "txt"&i, at the same time), i'm now trying to get the values entered in these to fit into a column that has been inserted during the same sub routine. I'm having a bit of trouble refering to the text boxes though, this is the patch of code i'm struggling with:

VBA To Add Multiline?

I am running a macro and I need to add this example of text corresponding to the #of line in the exact way, at the end of the data. I was able to do by loading an external file, however, I have to set a path to it, but only I can use it. I want to be able to give to my colllegue so she can also run the macro and have that note at the bottom on the data too.

The total should be in 12 row as per the example...

Active X Text Box Multiline And Bolding

I have a couple of active x text boxes that I am using in a user form to enter data to a sheet. I wasn't able to get the text to move to the next line, but I changed the Multiline and EnterKeyBehavior to True and now when I hit enter it is working how I want it to. But when I click ok on my user form it is putting the data where I want it but it is putting a symbol that looks like a ? with a border around it in where I am pressing enter. Is there a way to avoid having this symbol show up?

The other question I have is if it is possible for specific text to be Bold in the text box and some not? I haven't been able to figure out a solution for that.

I have the following VBA code in Excel that looks in sheet called mri.txt for a cell called “AcquisitionMatrix”, Then goes one cell down and two cell to left and copy them all into Application.Workbooks(imgMain).Worksheets("Sheet1").Activate cell “AC2”, But for some reason it copies the field’s name as well such as:

AcquisitionMatrix , 0, , 256, , 256,.

Is there a way to avoid copying the filed name into cell AC2? Such as :
0, , 256, , 256,?

Copy Multiple Cells, Paste Into 1 Cell

I have a spreadsheet that contains data that is currently split up into 2 or more cells. Sometimes it's 2 cells, sometimes 3, even 4, etc. I would like to right click on multiple adjacent cells, select copy, right click on another cell and paste these multiple cells into 1 cell. I checked paste special but didn't really find anything. I'm not sure a formula/macro would work either as I need to manually determine which cells need this attention.

I am using a macro that copied a string from another app, and I would like to know if there is a way to remove the sign "_" (underscore) before it paste to the TextBox1?

I declare the textbox as : TextBox1.Value = DATA

When the macro run, it takes the info from the app and send the string DATA to the TextBox1.Value, however there is ugly _ from the data. I want to be able to remove that sign right after it paste into the TextBox1.

Formatting TextBox And Check Which TextBox Is The Active TextBox In The Loop

I am attempting to format some TextBoxes from within a For/Next loop. I need a way to check which TextBox is the active TextBox in the loop. Using i as the variable, I came up with this code snippet: Me.Controls("TB" & i).Text = Format("TB" & i, "mm/dd/yy")

If i = 3, this gives me in TextBox3 (which is called TB3) the text 'TB3' and not the value of what is in TB3. It has got to bo something simple, I just can't see it!!!

The code works to where if D8 > M2, then a cell in N2:EK2 is populated with the textbox value if D8 = a column in N2:EK2 Unlike above, the textbox value for each cell in range D8:D11 is written seperately to it's appropriate row BUT to following occurs: If row 8 user input: textbox1.value = "name1", then the appropriate cell in row 8 will contain "name1" But if row 9 user input: text1.value = "name2", the appropriate cell in row 9 will contain "name2" AND the "name1" in row 8 will change to "name2" How do recognize these as separate entities without having to create a new userform/textbox for each case?

I have a cell with entries as follows for example

i would like to split it over multiple columns. Let me be a little more specific.
my data is arranged as follows in the cell

abcd<space><enter>
efgh<space><enter>
ijlk<space>

I want it as follows in ONE cell as follows

abcd<space>efgh<space>ijkl

OR

Column 1 Column 2 Column 3
abcd efgh ijkl

1. "Data -->Text to columns" : doesn't work for some reason, only my first string "abcd" is being read. Please do remember I have more than a thousand entries so manual change on each cell would be difficult.

2. =clean() : removes the spaces making data splitting impossible.

3. =trim() : same as above

I have 8 different files all have a set of data in them

each one has a long list of (column a-n) however the number of rows change by date. I need each file copied into the finalfile.xls one after another. in the files that will be merged into the final file the final row i need copied is blank.
I have all the copy formulas and everything set, I just need a range to copy that automaticaly takes cell a10 to the first blank a cell from each file and pastes it in the finalfile.xls under the last paste so they dont over write each other.

What I need is a macro in my "Summary Workbook" that copies cells (“B3, B6, B12, B13, G5, G6”) form every customer sheet in my “Customers Sheets” folder and paste it into my “Summary Workbook” onto sheet2, every customer in a new row.

The “Summary Workbook” should run this macro every time it is opened or on my command so that the database is continually refreshed when a new customer sheet is made.

Copy Multiple Ranges From Multiple Sheets And Paste In Order Via VBA

I've got several worksheets that all have the exact same layout that a user will enter unique information in to each worksheet. Then I've got a final worksheet that I want to have a button that the user can click and when they do, it will look to each worksheet and do the exact same process for each worksheet as follows:

It first looks to see if the worksheet is visible. If it is, I want it to copy the range A5 to K5 down until it gets to the last non-blank cell in column C. The first non blank cell that will be referenced will be C7. Then I want it to paste this information into the range A5:K5 on the final sheet named Sheet8 with the same values and keep cell formatting such as width and height, font. If the worksheet is not visible, it skips the sheet.

I want it to do this for each visible worksheet, placing the next visible worksheet info under the previous visible worksheet info. My current code as shown doesn't do that. It requires that something be inSheet8 A6 before it will even paste, then it pastes the info from A5:K5 but it doesn't do just the values nor does it keep the formatting. What I mean about not doing just the values is some of the info that needs to be copied comes from a drop down they can choose from and it copies the actual drop down menu. Also, it seems to copy all of the ranges from each sheet and paste it into just A5:K5 on Sheet8 and overwrites each other instead of pasting Sheet2 just below the information from Sheet1. So the only information shown after the entire process is completed is the information from the last visible sheet.

(Form TextBox) Multiple Fonts

I need to use two types of fonts to not only display a string of characters in a textbox but also past to a cell as viewed in the textbox.

An example string:

[#|:.010(M)|A|N(M)|B(M)]

The above string in Arial font would look like this:

[TP|Ø.010(M)|A|N(M)|B(M)]

I am simulating a GD&T instruction (Geometric Deimensioning and Tolerancing).

My dilema stems from the first character "[" and the last character "]".
I use both of these characters to open an instruction and close the instruction (as if all characters are surrounded by a rectangle).

What I cant figure out is how to isolate the first "[" and the last "]" (They will always be the first and last characters of an unknown string length). The first "[" would be an "Arial font" and the last would be an "Arial font" everything in between is another font (in this case Verisurf).

Verisurf uses both "[" and "]" as alternate characters. I only need to capture the first and last character if: 1. The first is a "[" and or the last is a "]". They will never be vice~versa.

But I want the result to be displayed in one textbox in userform.Is there any way?
