PRODUCT Function With Nested IF Formulas

I receive montly investment performance projections going out monthly for 10 years. I need to show the return annually for each year. I created a SUMIFS formula to sum the percentages between two date ranges (beginning of the year and the end of the year for each year). However, my SUMIFS formula does not take into considersation compounding. How can I modify the SUMIFS formula I created to take into consideration compounding?
I know how to convert monthly percentages to an annual percentage,using the PRODUCT formula =PRODUCT(1+T15,1+U15,1+V15,1+W15,1+X15,1+Y15,1+Z15,1+AA15,1+AB15,1+AC15,1+AD15)-1, whereas T15:AD15 is the monthly percentage gain. Is there a simplier/alternative way that I can incorporate into the SUMIFS formula?
If it is too complicated to utilize a SUMIFS formula, I would like to be able to select a range of cells and have Excel calculate the result vs typing "1+[select the cell]," for each month. It takes me forever and open to input errors. It would be much easier to be able to select a range of cells when creating the formula.

I have two columns of data. for example:

What I need the function to return is:
Product A - 3
Product B - 2
This is what I thought the function should look like but it is not working:
=IF(A6:A50>0,COUNTIF(A6:A50,"Product A"),0)
If Product A or B did not have any values >0, it would return a zero.

I am trying to use a PRODUCT formula to return the product of a list of numbers in a column, between 2 specified dates. The spreadsheet is arranged as follows:
Column BA list of dates
Column C & DNumerical data not used in any calculations
Column EThe numbers to multiply together
Cell A1Start date to be used in the PRODUCTformula
Cell A2End date to be used in the PRODUCT formula
The formula I have to multiply the data in column E, subject to the start and end dates in Column A is:
{=PRODUCT(IF(B15:B1000>A1,IF(B15:B1000<=A2,INDEX(B15:E1000,0,4))))}
This returns zero though works appropriately if I replace “PRODUCT” with a “SUM”.

I have the current formula to use as a count based on 2 criteria.
=SUMPRODUCT((TEXT(Order!A2:A65535,"m/dd/yy")=TEXT('Order Confirmation'!$L$13,"m/dd/yy"))*(Order!H2:H65535>=1)*(Order!A2:A65535"")*(Order!H2:H65535""))
Column A on my Order sheet is an entered date and L13 is a specific date criteria - this works fine on its own
Column H on my Order sheet is a calculated value (cells contain a formula) - this part does not work
I have tried changing the "*" to "," as I have seen suggested elsewhere but this does not work either. I believe that the SUMPRODUCT function is having trouble with the H column because it contains a formula and not an entered value. How to make this work or another way to accomplish the desired outcome?

Obviously im writing a script that correlates letter grades with GPA values. The problem is, after i try to put in the next grade (a D-) it throws up an error saying "the formula you typed contains an error". Is there some kind of limit to how many IF THEN statements you can put in a script? if so is there another easier way to what im trying to do?

I'm working on a formula that will determine the lowest number in a range.
The complication is that the range varies based on how many rows match a certain criteria.
The formula I have created works correctly, however, I need to have the range go up to 10, and because of the limit of 7 nested IF's, I have to stop at 6.
=IF(A2=A1,"",IF(COUNTIF($A:$A,A2)=1,G2,IF(COUNTIF($A:$A,A2)=2,MIN(G2:G3),IF(COUNTIF($A:$A,A2)=3,MIN(G2:G4),IF(COUNTIF($A:$A,A2)=4,MI N(G2:G5),IF(COUNTIF($A:$A,A2)=5,MIN(G2:G6),IF(COUNTIF($A:$A,A2)=6,MIN(G2:G7),"")))))))
After a result is returned from this formula, I have to do the almost exact same formula, based on the min value from these results.

I undrstand that you can only ave a certain amount of nested IF statements within one formular, is there a way round this?
What i'm looking to do is this.
VLOOKUP(VLOOKUP(location,IF(postcode="BA",LocationBA,IF(postcode=" BS",LocationBS,)),2,FALSE)
I have 13 options that can be chosen, but only have room for 6 nests of which BA and BS are currently above. what would be the best way to have all 13 within the lookup table array?

I need to combine the following formulas into one but obviously it won't work due to the limitations. Would the following be better using VBA? If yes. At the moment, they are in 3 separate columns and working but indepenantly. It basically says, if the agreement is older than todays date, write expired, if not if its for 12 months, then calculate the percantage according to number of days. and so on for 24 months and 36 months...................

I am currently having trouble with what I thought was a simple IF statement. As you will see from the formula I want to complete a statement for every month of the year but Excel will not let me go past July. On a spreadsheet, I want my formula to caculate the following: if "certain cell" = "certain name", then do this calculation, if "certain cell" = "certain name", then do this calculation....and so on.
I have a drop down list of employees, which would be "certain name" and it is in a cell, which would be "certain cell". The calculation I want to do is if it is a certain employee, I want to take the manually inputted hours in another cell and multiple it by the employee's rate of pay, which would be it's own calculation including labour burden. I have 13 employees that I want to have as part of this. So, if the first valuation comes up false, it carries on to the next and so on until it finds one that matches. I have tried IF commands, but it is too long, so I tried to split it, didn't work. Tried lookup and it didn't work. Tried named formulas, didn't work. It is entirely possible that I am totally on the wrong track or in over my head, but I know this should work.

I am using the following formula to calulate the compounded rate of return for a series of monthly returns: {=(PRODUCT(1+(b1:b100)/100)-1)*100}
I would like to be able to integrate a VLOOKUP function into the above formula so that it looks at the dates in column A and then apply the PRODUCT function above to the return values in column B that fall between start and end dates specified in cells C1 and D1.

Currently trying to calculate the cumulative performance for a range of months. For example, I have the below figures:

I want to create a product if function where if I'm looking back 6, 12, 18 months etc from a specified month (e.g. Sep 2013), it will calculate the product for the range of % (e.g. Apr-Sep for 6 months, Oct 12-Sep 13 for 12 months, etc...). I would imagine it will be =product(1+if(Column A range=6, Column B range))-1.

I created a large table with data (1700 lines long) and am looking to create a sheet that will use it to do a call for totals whilst filtering for a specific line.
This is what I have currently, filtered by delivery date and key ("furniture desc").
The 58 and 54 are totals for that particular product which I would like to ideally see on a separate sheet.

What kind of formula would I need to use to first filter by date, then by key, then to tally up the quantities and drop them on another sheet?
Bearing in mind that other keys are intertwined on the Y axis so I can't use =SUM(xx:xx)

I'm trying to do:
Column A is full of daily consecutive dates, Columns B to H are full of numbers.
I'd like to create function that accepts 2 dates and a column reference as input like this:
function(date1, date2, columnnumber)
And as output it gives the product of all the numbers in that referenced column between the two dates.

I'm working on a order spreadsheet system, and I have one sheet called Product Details, where the product name, list price and product code are found, these link to the Sales order page, and I need them so that they can be added to.
So far, I have created a dynamic named range for the Product name on the Product details sheet, and linked the the range via a list validation on the Sales order sheet.
The drop down list displays the products and can be added to by typing new product names on the other sheet.
What I need now is that when a product on the sales order page is selected, it draws the the list price and product code data automatically from the sheet, I tried using a normal vlookup, but I couldn't get it to work. I also need the list price and product code columns to be 'dynamic' so new values can be added further along.

I would like to have a Macro to go from the first tab called "Start" and end up with the second tab "End" automatically. BAsically I need to take the product on each line under Tab Start and reproduce it for sizes 35-41 always ending with "-(size)". Then this new Product with Size needs to be multiplied one below the other for as many times as I have pictures (number shown under column B of the tab Start). Next to this value in column B of tab End I'd like the same name listed again but with the number 1, then 2, then 3, etc. as needed and the extension .jpg.

I am trying to create a nested IF function (has 5 IF statements), however,
every time I put the brackets at the end of the function, it puts a little .
next to the false answer, removes the brackets and comes up with an error
message?
This is only happening on one particular PC, when I create the same formula
on other pC's, it works fine so I know my formula is correct.
is there a setting on the PC that must be wrong?

I have an assignment in which I have to use nested, IF, AND and OR functions. Does anyone know the syntax for this kind of function? Basically I have to determine leave time based on years of service and whether the employee is full time or part time. Part-time with less than 1.5 years of service = 0 days of leave Part-time over 1.5 and full-time under 1year = 3 days of leave and full time over 1 year = 5 days of leave. I know how to do a nested function, but I have not worked with both an AND and OR together.

I need to keep track of my salesmen's time. However, the company will not pay for the first 45 minutes so I need a formula that says, if the time entered in under "worked" is less than 45 minutes, no time will be deducted. If the time entered is equal to or greater than 45 minutes, 45 minutes will be deducted. These are the columns needed and the Daily Hours would be the total of all the previous columns. I am trying to concatenate the text of a few cells in a specific worksheet. I'm not wanting to use the STRING & STRING type code because I already had a Concatenate formula nested with an index formula and needed to have this formula copied to a certain RANGE, Where the RANGE was specified by a Variable. he Code below does what I need if the CONCATENATE/INDEX formula is in the cell that im copying already. (BELOW) The Formula in the cell, for example, on row 19 of worksheet "COMMISSION", that needs to be copied and incremented down the VARIABLE RANGE is

My problem is when I use the following code to insert that concatenate/index formula, through vba, then I get errors because it evidently doesnt like the " " for the space i needed between texts. (The Formula is concatenating text in those cells but every other Row) Can I do this in VBA?

I'm writing a spreadsheet where I need to calculate a nested IF function (I think), and I am unsure of how to do it.
The problem is this:
The total $ value of the quote is entered, then depending on two variables, a rebate may be deducted from this total value. The first variable is eligibility (a Y/N response), the second is the type of project - there are two types of project and each attract a different rebate amount.
So I have:
A: total quote $
B: Eligibility - 'Y' or 'N' (if 'Y', then value of 'C' is deducted from 'A'), (if 'N', then no value is deducted from 'A')
C: Type - '1' or '2' (if '1', then 'C' = $1000), (if '2', then 'C' = $1600)
D: final result

I have multiple sheets within one Excel file. Each sheet is structured the same way. Column B lists Client's last names, which differ from sheet to sheet, though some clients may be repeated in several tabs. I have a column K which displays either the number 1 or 0. This is consistent between sheets.
I have created a formula that will look at the last name in a specific cell in column B of sheet 2 (FY 07) and search sheet 1 (FY 06) column B for the same last name.
=IF(MATCH($B5,'FY 06'!$B$5:$B$24,0),1,0)
If the same last name exists and if column K of sheet 2 and sheet 1 display a "1", I want it to place a 0 in the formula cell.
So, if there is a client that is in both sheets and has a "1" in both columns K of each sheet, I want the formula to let me know.
