Is there a bit of code that would allow me to copy data in currency format from one cell and paste a percentage of that number into another cell on another worksheet?
I cannot use the PasteSpecial Multiply function because my macro is already searching for blank cells in which to paste.
I have been working on a macro that compares a existing list of data to an updated list of data and then either moves any data not on the new list over to a completed tab (followed by deleting the record on the existing sheet), and then adds any items not on the existing sheet, but which appear on the new list, to the existing list.
I have come across a stumbling block, i have managed to identify on the existing list the rows of data that have been removed from the new list and therefore need to be moved over to the completed tab, but when i select the data it selects the header row aswell (which will always remain the same row). Obviously this then pastes the header row aswell, and also i can't seem to get it to paste in the new sheet to the next available row (i.e this will be used daily and i don't won't to overwrite the infor already in the completed tab). the next issue i have is then when i go back to existing sheet to delete the data i just copied across, as the header was initially select this also gets deleted.

I have a source spreadsheet with a bunch of percentages as numbers, like this:

When I paste that into my end spreadsheet with its cell formatted as percentage, I get this:
2804
Which I understand why... I have been searching and all I can find to do is past special with the multiply operation (from a blank cell that contains .01) and then it converts them to the correct result, then I reformat the column as a percentage.
I have a workbook that has a master data sheet which is used daily to import data. I also have worksheets named: 1, 2, 3, etc. based on the day of the month.
I have been manually pasted the master data for a particular day onto that corresponding numbered worksheet.
I was thinking of taking the date and and separating it using the deliminated feature then somehow looking at the day of the month and tell it to paste to that same worksheet number.
The 'Add new material' button at the SMX sheet paste a range of formatted cells and formulas. The user is suppose to type in the description into the yellow filled cells. The problem is once the user enter sthe description in the yellow filled cells, i need the data to be copied into the FastCheck Sheet. Before that, a new row must be generated to copy for the data to be pasted.

I have a worksheet with 14 columns. Column 12 is either blank or when I finish that project, from a drop down menu I pick Yes. What I am hoping for is that as soon as I hit yes the line will be cut from the first sheet labeled Open and pasted to the next available row on the second sheet labed Closed. On the first sheet that blank row is eliminated so there are no spaces and on sheet two it always looks for the next available row as to not over write any data.
Also, to make sure I am doing this right too, I would right click the tab then click view code, paste it into the window (below the drop down that says (General) click file save workbook then file close and return to excel correct? One last thing, while looking at this page it shows my worksheet I call Open is really sheet 16 and closed is really sheet 17.
can excel do this (see the attachment pls). if possible can someone show me how to do that. i am new in excel vba.

The procedure does not update the changed condition ( I have pass/fail as condition). Once you run this macro, the data will be pasted but when you change a condition from "fai" to "pass". The pasted data in sheet 3 is not updated. I either need worksheetchange procedure or maybe a code to delete (refresh) sheet 3 data before running the existing macro.
I have Name, location, status (pass/fail) and comment in columns A, B, C, D in sheet 1.
I have an Excel worksheet with potentially 1000+ rows of data.
Create a way where I select something (a macro button ?) for that individual row of Worksheet1 -- and it takes selected cell data from that row and inserts it into specified cells in another worksheet (Worksheet2) within that same workbook.
Also, this Excel data (of Worksheet1) will be sorted every week - so the ?macro button? that is used needs to follow the same row when a sort is performed.
I can do this by creating a macro button, but would have to create an individual macro button for every individual row of data. (That's 1000+ macro buttons to create !?!)
Is there better way of doing this with a macro button OR is there a completely different/better way to accomplish the same thing ?

Each time they are pasted, it just writes over the previous items at the top of the list. I would like it to paste in the next open row, so I can go back and forth between the sheets and add things. I'm looking to create a macro that will take data from an input sheet, and paste it into a cell in another worksheet, based on criteria specified in sheet1.
Specifically in the attached example, the macro would copy the data in cells C8:C10 of sheet 1, then paste them into sheet 2 based on the data specified in cell B3 i.e. it would paste them into the column headed Mar-09. I intend to make this cell a drop down, so that the user can then select the next reporting month and run the macro again to paste the data into the Apr-09 column.

After the associates have updated their individual files for the week, I want to capture the data entered and paste values into a master file containing a worksheet for each associate (sharing the same name as the individual associate file). Linking would be the easiest way to accomplish this if I wanted to have a multitude of weekly individual files for the associates. However, I'd rather each associate have one file for them to update (basically overwriting their previous week's entries).
I need to ensure the paste values corresponds to the appropriate day of the week. In simpler terms, if the date in the individual associate file in cell D9 reads Oct 1, 2012, the data captured from that row needs to be pasted to the corresponding row/column in the master file that reads the same date.

Is it possible to modify this for the attached workbook to select a cell with data (numbers) on the Input Data sheet in column 'E', add text to the beginning, ('CG' in this case), and paste the result to the Import Template in the corresponding cell of column 'A'? These cells are populated via an IF function on another worksheet. Even though the cells appear blank (as in the value returned is ""), there is a formula in these cells. I think it's called formula blank?

Some of the names in worksheet 1 are in worksheet 2, but only a partial list. Worksheet 2 names are not in any kind of order and the rows do not match up with worksheet 1. In worksheet 1, column B is filled with each person's email address. In worksheet 2, column B NEEDS to be filled with each person's email address.
Is there a way for me to take each name, sequentially, on worksheet 2 and find that same name in worksheet 1, then pull the email address from column B (beside the name) and copy it to that cell in column B of worksheet 2?

I have a little bit of problem with lookup function. When i paste values from another worksheet (paste special, values) in a cell which is lookup value i get #N/A. These values are numbers. When i put '7 for example i get the values i want from lookup table. I have a lot of these cells and its tedious job to put ' in front of every value. Is there a quicker solution?

The cell ranges are going across my spreadsheet in rows and I would like for them to transpose into a columns depending on the data which I have separated by catergory on the summary page. They are all on the same location in each workbook which is separated by country. The cell ranges are E26:P37 and I would like to transpose them and have them put below eachother without overwriting for my format on the summary page, how I can put this together in a macro?

How to show my data as % of grand total and include the filtered data. Whenever I filter out a category in my pivot table the % values adjust for everything unfiltered. Is there a way to have my percentages include the filtered data?
