Sub-Menu Not Showing On Toolbar Menu
Jul 8, 2007I am taking an EXCEL(online) class and in my current assignment i am to create a 'list' for sorting and querying. However i cannot find the 'list' option, under my DATA option on the toolbar. I have tried all my toolbars and shortcuts but I am unable to find it anywhere.

It works brilliantly, but I'd like to adapt it so that I can create a floating toolbar, which is fully expanded upon opening, where the button faces are plain text which I designate. Let's suppose the macros I want the buttons to trigger are called MacroA and MacroB, and that the text on the buttons should read "Do A" and "Do B".

Mar 4, 2008how to manage a custom faceid. Though, I am not too sure as to how to assign an actual icon to a custom toolbar. I can try the pasteface method; though as the source file is a .png; the picture might be too small.

Menu Bar/Navigation :: Tool That Creates A Menu Bar Or Code?
Oct 20, 2009I have a workbook with multiple sheets. Is there a tool that creates a menu bar or code that I can add that would support navigation?
My goal is to have something with approximately 4 options (buttons?). They would link to 4 different sheets that serve as indexes within the workbook.
I know I can add a control like a button to a given sheet that would take the user to given sheet when clicked, but can I make the button 'float' above all the sheets, or add to a menu bar, or something? I just don't want to have to add the button to every sheet in the workbook.
I am looking for something simple/easy, and am not looking for anybody to do the work. I just have no idea on how to approach the problem.

but adding worksheets, selecting various parts of a worksheet, creating a chart and deleting it, and everything else I've tried has no effect.
One interesting thing - the first chart I added (to test if it would 'unstick' itself upon deletion of the new chart) was named 'Chart 2', implying there was a chart1 that existed previously.... although I am fairly certain I never added a chart to this workbook at any point.
Also, the menu bar is working fine in other workbooks, and changes to chart and back to data like normal.
Counting Menu Items In Menu Bar
May 20, 2006Suppose I delete a (unknown) number of items from the Worksheet Menu Bar. This can vary because of the fact that my excel sheet is being used by a different number of people, all with a different Worksheet Menu Bar configuration. Is there a way of counting how many Menu items are still left in the Worksheet Menu Bar?
So, suppose all that is left (after using the program) in the Worksheet Menu Bar are Excel, File, Tools, Help. How can the porgram find out that there are only 4 items in the menu?
Add Ins For 2000

2000 Opening Files
Mar 12, 2007Last monday I clicked on my quick launch icon for my time card, which is in excel. It opened up, but I got an error message saying that excel had an error, send report or don't send report. Closed everthing out and clicked on the icon again, but this time excel oppend but the file did not. I get just a blank (don't know what to call it) spreadsheet. There are no cells to enter anything in. I do get the "File, Edit, View, and so on" at the top. I can click on File than Open and browes for the file and open it that way, but I can't open any Excel file by double clicking it in explorer.

Sep 7, 2009In using Autofilter on a Date column in Excel 2007 compatibility mode (Vista) and in Excel 2000 (XP), I receive different selection criteria (see pictures attached). In Excel 2007, I can select by year, by month. In Excel 2000, I am presented with all dates available in the filtered column.
I realize I can do a custom filter in Excel 2000 with a range of dates to select only the month I wish to query but this is cumbersome for the user. Is there VBA code available that will allow the same or similar selection criteria in Excel 2000 as is available in Excel 2007?
Find An Average In 2000
Jun 2, 2009I have a total in F16 that i need to find an average of.
The range is set from f4 - f15 (12 months) and need to find the running average per month. but as we only have done 5 months of the year so far that is the only average required (F16/5).
I need this to count at the end of june (F16/6) basically not counting any zero months (jul, aug, sept etc until the end of each)

2000 To 97 Conversion Issue
Apr 29, 2003I have built a nice employee time tracking device in Excel 2000. It is pretty self explanitory ("IN" time, "OUT" time, total time, etc). What I am having problems with is the VB code that is behind the "OUT" time. In essence, once an "OUT" time is entered, the ms error message box is overwritten to ask what type of break the person took (No Lunch, 1/2 hour, 1 hour) and takes the response and implements it into the Total hours calculation. Works great in 2000, but the users are getting problems in 97. i don't have 97 and can't seem to trouble shoot it. Could some guru with 97 have a look at this and see what exactly I am missing in 97.
