i have 2 userforms and i want be able to put the data that appears in one textbox, and make it appear in the textbox in the other userform.

Transfering Large Amounts Of Autofiltered Data To New Worksheet

I have a problem with my current macro that uses a basic autofilter to auto filter from the parent database to extract the correct rows and then copies the query and pastes it into a new worksheet to further proceed with the macro.

I have run into a problem because my database has become very big and now when I try to autofilter the query and click on copy, an error regarding the data range reference is too complex - use data that can be selected in one contiguous rectangle

I tried a few things such as to autofilter out everything I dont need and hit delete - this does not work either, same result

I got help here previously in which the code deletes All Hidden Rows and this is very time consuming, I have not tested all my methods but it took 15 minutes to delete hidden files for one method and theres roughly 5 in total

I have to end up running this code on the parent worksheet multiple times because I use the parent worksheet to extract different parameters into different worksheets!

I have noticed that if I manually copy the data in smaller blocks, by halving the data seems to work,but I do not know how large of a partition I am limited to copy because my database is very large and the size varies month-to-month so I cannot put a number on the max range. I think if I could get a macro to do it by thirds or preferably quarter range should be safe.

So just to summarize, I am trying to devise a method in which I would auto filter on the active parent sheet "sheet 1" and I would copy the auto-filtered query to "sheet2" instead of copying the whole worksheet in one instance I would like to split the autofitlered query into four equal parts with respect to the range of the worksheet and then to copy the first quarter of the query and paste in sheet 2 and then the second quarter to sheet 2 and so on untill all four quarters are done one after the other, so sheet 2 should be a series of all four parts combined into one series on sheet2

Transfering Data From Sheet To Sheet

I have attached an excel file attached. I have 175 different part numbers, but I made an example of 10 numbers to show my problem. On sheet “Supplist” I have a list of part numbers that I need data on from sheet “Subtotal”. Basically I need the numbers from the “subtotal” list to marry up with the part numbers on the “supplist” Right now I am just manually entering the data, I know excel is smarter than me.

Transfering Chart From One Sheet To Another

I have created a chart with dynamic ranges. Ranges are defined for that particular worksheet. However when I want to paste that chart on another sheet, chart formulas are not updated for the new sheet. I have similar ranges in each worksheet. I want be able to paste the chart on any of the sheet and change chart ranges/formulas with minimum work.

Is there any way to do that automatically?

Inventory Spreadsheet - Transfering Count To Master Broken?

I went to add the count to the inventory, it keeps returning an error where the date is pasted from one sheet to the other. I had originally tried to reference the value of the date directly, but because it was being passed to a merged cell, Excel didn't like it too much, so I had it copy and paste it. That worked at first, now it suddenly doesn't.

Moving Data Between Two Userforms

I am trying to do what I have quoted below. In particular,I have the two userforms set up so that I open one and then click a checkbox that opens the second userform. I would like the data I enter into a texbox in the second userform to populate a text box in the first.

You might have a problem deciding exactly when textbox2 is to update - ie what event you're going to hang it from. Are both userforms visible on the screen at the same time? is the updating to take place in real time?

Filling Cells With Data From Userforms

I have a userform and on it is a combo box with the weeks in each month in it. A user has to select a week to enter figures for and then enter the figures into text boxes on the same form. When the click submit (command button), based on what week they've already selected, my code will put the figures into the spreadsheet in the appropriate place.

Capturing Data From Userforms Created At Run Time

I found a useful thread Creating UserForm Controls via Code. how to create dynamically scalable UserForms at run time. I'm now stuck on the obvious Part 2 that isn't included...How does one capture the values in the text fields without knowing the names of those fields. My initial thought is to use a For loop to read the values into an array, like so...

ReadArray(k) = ?????????
Next k

If it were a simple read from a text field I'd use something like:
Set ReadField = TextBox1.Value

Userforms - Populate Data On Specific Sheet And Columns?

i'm having a hard time with trying to populate data from a userform to a specific column under a specific sheet. I've attached the file if you want to look at it. The file is basically a exam type with user logging and auto score computing.

The file is made of 6 sheets, 1st sheet is the log-in page where takers are required to enter their ID number and last name. 3 sheets of dummy test items, an Admin sheet that computes the score per test item and Database which I'm trying to compile all data in one column.

What I'm trying to do is that when they enter their ID and Last Name and then answer the 3 tests, they will be recorded in the database sheet in 1 column containg their ID, name and all the test results so that checking,grading and identifying who took the test would be easy.

So far I think I've done the part for the scores but I can't seem to get the userform for emp# and last name to populate on the field marked in the database.

Inter-relating Combo Boxes In Userforms Based On Data In Tables

I have worked out (through reading and what not) how to link a combo box to a range in a worksheet. What I need to do is relate what is selected in that combo box, to another combo box which picks from another range. I have a data spreadsheet called "Offices". It's set up as follows

Transfering Files From Lots Of Files To One Single Exel Master File.

Need a way to update a single master file. What happens right now is that the cost manager sends out one file to a lot of different project heads and then on having them return back to him he basically has to individually add in all the data. What i am trying to do is that he somehow carries on sending out the data as there are a lottt of projects and then on returning them they automatically update.

Multiple UserForms With Multiple Numeric Data Input TextBoxes

When one creates multiple UserForms with multiple (identical) TextBoxes, every control must have its own event handler procedures. All these TextBoxes in my workbook are to capture numeric data to populate various cells in the workbook.

Would you recommend using a Class Module to handle these events for TextBox controls, rather than having to repeat the event handler code for each control?

And if so, do you have some code that I can use that will cover most of the events and potential error handling routines for numeric input data?

I have created a userform and command button within an excel spreadsheet to run the userform and then manipulate the data entered into the userform. However when I click the cancel button of the userform the macro tries to continue to manipulate the data entered, of which there is none and then comes up with an end/debug command. Is there an If and Then statement in VBA that I can use so that if the 'Cancel button' is clicked then the rest of the Macro won't run.

Pop Up Boxes In Userforms

I designed some userforms on a worksheet for users to click and input information. However, i am wondering if it is possible to have an additional feature to the userform.

Currently the userform only have labels such as Title, Dept, Branch, Unit and the respective textboxes for user to input information. As it might be unclear to some users i would like to have an additional feature such that when user roll their mouse over the label "Branch", the user will see a box where more information is given or rather an example such as "Dept XYZ", allowing user to have a clearer idea of what to fill in. Is there any way for me to add this feature?

I have a UserForm which has a ListBox and other TextBox, I have an issue when I select any option from the ListBox. I transfer data from the Form onto a Worksheet, which works great until I reach the ListBox.

My problem is that when I enter the information and click submit which will save the Data and send it to an Access Database. The problem arises on the ListBox. I get an error message Run-time error 3265 "Item not found in this collection"

I dont understand what the error is, how can I get around this so that all the data is written to the Worksheet and can then be transfered to the Database?

I have a sheet with two user forms. One which collects a few options and a second where I use a webrowser and some more options on it to do some tasks as per the options selected in number one.

I am having problems because I need to use the options that are selected on the first user form and apply them on the second userform by using if statements.

So basicaly the question is how can I use a variable defined in one userform and apply it on another userform?

Userforms And Checkboxes

I'm having trouble with checkboxes - I've set up the userform but I can't seem to get it to send values to the specific cells when certain options are checked.

The way it should work is there will be an action and this could be involved with 1 process or 40 processes (and anything in between) and what will happen is the userform will pop up and ask what processes the action is applicable to. The user will then tick the correct ones and the form will then place these values in the corresponding cells next to the action.

1) I have added multiple command buttons as options within different categories but when I select one, all others are reset. Is ther a way to section off the command buttons into groups so that say the first three act together, the next two act together and then the last four act together, allowing a total of three options within three different categories?

Hiding UserForms

I'm trying to hide a UserForm (using myFrm.hide) once the command button on the form is clicked. I'm getting the following error:

Run-time error '402'
Must close or hide topmost modal form first.

Apparently the form isn't the 1st in the z-order. How can I see the z-order of my forms?

Multipage On Userforms

I have had some succcess with Userforms, but I have now tried creating multipage ones.

I assumed that when I clicked on page 2 or page 3 of the multipage control, it would take me to a blank canvas, but instead it just replicates what is on Page 1. If I put textboxes and labels on page one, it repeats them on pages 2 and 3. If I delete boxes fropm page 3, they also disapear from 1 and 2!

So im unsure how to put different labels etc onto different pages.

Cannot Access UserForms In Add-in

I would really like to be able to have a function in a workbook that can run methods (for example Show or Hide) on a UserForm inside an add-in like this:

where frmTest is a UserForm inside the addin. After the add-in has been added as a reference, I am able to access all of its functions/subs in this way. When I try to access a form inside the add-in from outside the add-in, I simply get an object not defined error. Looking more closely, if I type in "eRFTEAddIn." (which is the name of the add-in) and look at the possible options, the forms do not show up...although the modules and sheets do.

100% CPU Usage With Many Userforms

We have designed a data collection program in excel which use's userforms for the data entry and form printing. There are 20 userforms, each with a "Next" button which hides the current userform and shows the next userform. The first "next" button has a copy and paste code which copies a today() statement and paste's it in a different cell to record how long it took to complete the data entry. We are able to go through the program once, but when we try a second time it freezes and the cpu usage goes to 100% resulting in us having to End Task.

i have a form that creates a pop-up (another form) and i want that pop-up to remain on top of the original form until the pop-up's "submit" or "cancel" button is clicked - the original form should be inaccessible while the pop-up is there.

is it possible to do this in VBA?
