The Server name is SQLSRV when you expand databases the database is called SWHSystem the Table is called dbo.Credential and from that i need to get SELECT All from the Name and CardNumber from dbo.Credential and put that in a New Sheet titled Personal

Radio Button Transparency Lost When Clicked, How To Remedy
Jan 23, 2009I have a form (worksheet with controls embedded in) and the form changes color depending on what the user clicked, problem is that button colors and cell pattern colors don't quite match.
thought I solved it by making the buttons backstyle = transparent.
However, as soon as radio button was clicked, transparency was lost.
I have named the range of the form "FormGround" so that when Service 1 is select, the Form turn a different colour. I have my subsequent buttons change to that same color as well (using the cell's color index number.

I have a subroutine (well, a combination of subroutines) that copies some data from a spreadsheet into Access.
I then want to be able to run a report based on that data, save it as a PDF and email it out: all automatically.
I don't want the user to have to actually open Access and run the reports, because it's much slower! For some reason Excel can open access, write to tables and close it within a matter of seconds: opening the program manually, editing the table and closing it can take minutes.

Mar 26, 2008I have a sheet which has certain formulas & charts. I have a folder which has several workbooks of data.
Generally, I open the folder, open one workbook, copy the data, paste it to my Master Workbook, and based on this data, my charts update.
Now, the problem is that, I have to open every workbook one by one, copy and paste it to the master.
I have not less then 210 workbooks. I just want to know if it is possible to open the folder, open the desired workbook, copy the specific data and past it to master workbook, FROM Maste workbook itself.

Nov 6, 2007I was trying to move data from excel to access database in VBA. not sure if this has been done before.
What i have got at the moment is that there are some data in excel spreadsheet that i can dump into the table in the access database. My problem here is i need to be able to open the database first, set up connection, and then perform SQL insert query command.
So in the worksheet, i have a button with the following codes in it

I also want the checkbox to link to the activecell in order to use the TRUE or FALSE values in an AutoFilter. I used the following code, but the checkbox doesn't link to the ActiveCell. I thought it might be because the LinkedCell = "TEXT" whereas a Range isn't text?

1) Data - the students are listed in Column A, math scores in Column B, reading scores in Column C and science scores in Column D. The grades of 300 students are entered in this sheet.

2) Report Card template - This is the report card that needs to be generated for each student. It's pulling the student name and grades from the Data worksheet.

How do I create worksheets (report cards) for additional students? I have 300 students in the school. I need the next worksheet to reference Data!$A3. I know how to cut and paste the report card template and then edit =Data!A2 to be =Data!A3 to create a report card for Sally. How do I create the 300 report cards I need?
I've been teaching for 13 years. I can create a report card for each student in my class and edit each worksheet individually for each student. Now I've been asked to do this for the whole school and I don't know how to create the other 299 sheets I need.

Nov 5, 2009I am trying to find unique values on one page and copy/paste them on another page (all within one workbook). I tried to use advanced filter, but ran on some problems: i) it does not copy values on to the new page ii) it is not dynamic.
my information is entered on a daily basis, which is why I need the filter (or code) to be dynamic. The information, however, is not stored, but rather generates a daily invoice, this is why I want find only unique values to appear on a new page (invoice).

Apr 17, 2014I'm trying to get my macro to connect to Infomaker and run a query. I have successfully done this in the past by using the record macro function. But, when I try to record the macro and paste the query syntax from Infomaker into the commandtext box of the connection, I get the "too many line continuations" error.
I've been looking at ways to write the code rather than record, but the syntax for the Infomaker queries doesn't seem to mesh well.

Jul 2, 2008How do you create a macro to copy the information from my weekly reports to a monthly report and be able to update automatically. If you had 4 worksheets (for each week of the month) and 1 mastersheet for the whole month in a workbook. All titles are the same and If you needed to copy all the data that is in the columns, say, A through I, starting with row 4 to however many rows are in a given week. The reports can be made up of numicerial values, text and dates. Let me know if more information is needed or an example worksheet.

I have attached the source file and the VLookup file. Now when I enter the source file path in sheet 2 of workbook "Vlookup", and then if I run the macro it should open the file and put the dates in Sheet1 (Columns "D" and "E") of workbook "Vlookup". The dates in the source file will be available in sheet 1(column F and H) of that workbook.
