Create Range From Values That Don't Intersect Two Ranges

I have two ranges(range1 and range2) and i would like to create a third range(range3 that i have defined already) based on the values that dont intersect between range1 and range2. Below is what i have so far.

I have 4 sheets (2006,2007,2008,2009) Each has appx. 365 named ranges of 65 rows each. Each row (col A) has text(7:00 am, 7:15, 730, 7:45...11:00 pm (thats 65 rows)) to make a very useful schedule. The top 8 rows of each sheet are frozen so that a control panel has a place to sit. From the control panel, you can click on the go to "TODAY" button and the schedule scrolls to that day and indicates it in a label on the panel. When I named each range, I put a water mark of the day in the back ground so the user always knows what day it is. I also named each range with its respective date and the label on the control panel is supposed to indicate the active range(for instance: the user scrolls down 12 days and clicks inside it).
MY PROBLEM: Code that returns the intersection of the active cell and the name of the range does not work with the way in which I named my ranges. It works on a more simple named range However.

I am creating an automatic, mobile logging system utilizing a GPS. The US Census Bureau provides approximate coordinates for each US zipcode. An example of "45252", which is my home zipcode is below...

These sets of Longitute and Latitude coords define a boundary for my zip code. What I need to do is create a complex polygon with the above coords and then, feeding a function a Longitute and Latitude, determine if that given global position falls within my polygon (zip code boundary).
For example:
Longitude: -84.6197
Latitude: 39.2947
Will fall within the above polygon and my function would return true.

I have two lists of values in separate columns with condition in adjacent cells, all on the same sheet
List 1 consists of numbers from 1 to 12, column to the right is either blank or Free
List 2 consists of numbers from 13 to 24, column to the right is either blank of Free
List 1 starts in A2, B2 is either blank or Free
List 2 starts in D2, E2 is either blank or Free
In column G, from G2 i want it to list all values from List 1 and List 2 where their status is Free

I have a VBA function with the header:
cubspline(Xval As Double, XRange As range, YRange As Range) As Double
The problem is that XRange (and also YRange) is in different areas of the spreadsheet. I want to combine these areas into one range which I can pass on to the cubspline function. What is the easiest way of doing it? I'm looking for something like a "union" function for ranges in Excel.

Macro that could look at a row and take the values of two cells, combine them and then create a range name for a third cell in the row.
For example; for row 5420, in column C there is the word Florida, in column D there is the number 6235, and in column F there is a sentence or two. Is there a way to automatically create a named range for the cell of column F that would be named FLORIDA6235? And if so, can the macro do this for every row even if the word and/or the number changes.
I have roughly 28,000 rows and nine columns that I am working with. That's why I was wondering if there was a way to automate this. There are 10 states and I don't know how many different numbers attached to the states, however there are many state and number combinations that repeat, so there would be several rows with Florida in column C, 6235 in column D but a different description in column F.

I have a piece of code that changes the format of a cell using an intersect statement on the range in question. However, if I try and select more than one cell in the range then an error message is returned: 'Run Time Error 13': Type mismatch. I know that it is caused by selectin multiple cells - is there a way to error handle this so that, when multiple cells are selected, it ignores the intersect statement?

I have a Worksheet Change event that when a cell (H5) is changed, it does a search for the value on another sheet. When it finds that value, I would like it to find the intersection of the column it found the value in and a named range.

I'm trying to make my worksheet generate a bunch of named ranges whenever it is activated. However, I'm getting a "Not a valid name" error on the line in red. The value of r is a string, so I really don't see what the issue is. Another time, I got a object defined error, but I think I've declared everyhing too. That line is very similar to the line above, and tends to work once (the first time around the loop). After that, I get the errors I mentioned.

I am looking for a macro that will allow me to create a dynamic range based on the settings I give it. I would like the dynamic range to be called tracking_number and it to have a reference to =Offset(MainReport!$A$2,0,0,COUNTA(MainReport!$A:$A),1)
If this is possible I would really appreciate it. The reason I need this is because I have 2 workbooks. They are the one with the MainReport in it and then the Master workbook. Every day the workbook containing the MainReport is overwritten with more data, so I can not store a dynamic range and reference it each day.

I have a column of cells with formulas that either return "" or some number. I want to create a named range that includes all values that have some number and not "". The problem is that the formulas in the cells are being included in my named range.
Dynamic Named Range: =OFFSET('!'!$B$7,0,0,COUNTA('!'!$B$7:$B$100000),1)
Problem: includes the cells that have been set as ""
I tried COUNTIF in the OFFSET where ">0" but it would get messed up when my first cells were set to "".

I have data similar as shown in the following:
A1A11
B2AA1122
C3B22
D4C33
D44
The idea is to add compare the cells of the first column with the third column. Where same letters/words exist, the corresponding value of the first column should be added to the second column (where no letter exists equally, the space remains empty), so it will look like this
A111
AA1122
B222
C333
D444
the third column always will have at least the same letters as the first column, but new letters/entries can occur.

I am having an issue with looping through data ranges. Below is a subset of my macro. What I require is for LegendRng to stay the same and DataRng to move after each loop.
However everytime the vba runs through a loop, the previous range is recorded i.e. the source data for the chart is "A1:D5" instead of "A1:D1, A5:D5").

I keep losing my named ranges when attempting to reopen a particular file I am working on. I get the "excel found unreadable content....." error message and then when it corrects, the range names are all gone. is it efficient to create the named ranges at open? Otherwise how should it be done so that my workbook will definitely have these names each time its used?

I'm trying to create a single array from multiple ranges... I'm not sure what syntax to use:

I can create an array with multiple columns from a range if the columns are next to each other but in this instance they're not.
These 2 ranges both have the same number of rows and I'm trying to combine them into a 2 column array, but not sure how to make it work without looping, rediming the array and using a secondary array to preserve the data...

Is there any way in Excel to create single-cell named ranges from a combination of the labels in the rows and column of a spreadsheet.
Here is an example:

I would like the first cell (containing the 100) to have a defined name of (something like) "SalesCompanyA", and the second cell to be "SalesCompanyB". And so on - e.g. the cell with 300 in it should be "CostCompanyA".
I can do it manually, but I have a huge spreadsheet & was hoping it could be automated. Just to be clear, it needs to be a single cell range. I know you can create a range from a selection - but this seems to create ranges of the entire row and/or column.

The dynamic ranges are getting entered but the problem is that the range "dms" overshoots by six cells into blank cells at the bottom of the table, and the rest of the ranges overshoot by ten cells into blank cell area. I have deleted, cleared and destroyed everything around the table and re-sized the active area to no avail.

I have values in Worksheet 1, spread over A1:D25 and A200: D250.
In worksheet2 I have values again from A1:D25 and A200:D250.
Is is possible to only get the unique values of those 4 ranges with the advanced filter? They all need to be shown in eg worksheet 3 starting in A1, (so kinda merged in a sense)?
Is that a thing more for a UDF, or is there a excel function/option that does exactly that?
I have been looking for ages for that kind of function/option, since I thought it must be possible. But this sure does not look to be a standard functionality, or is it?
Is there a (free) add-in that might do this kind of thing?

I have an excel sheet populated with loads of values. There is a space between each set of data. I need to draw a graph for each section and i cant work out how to do it. I have attached the sheet in question. The gap between each column has "space" written on row, which is needed to prevent it being deleted. The drawing of the graphs needs to be automated as there is going to be 100's of sheets containg lots of data. The column size of each section can change so it needs to be dynamic. Im tring to run the procedure called KeyEventsOn ONLY when a single cell in range E29:E30 changes.
The Intersect and Target are borrowed from a book , I dont fully understand how these work. I am assuming that 'Target' should simply reflect the currently selected range, and the 'intersect' function runs a check as to whether the target is in the range to be checked.
The problem Im having is the variable 'Target'. If the above is true, why for example when I type 'ABC' into the current selected cell does the variable 'Target' show as "ABC" and not "$E$29" (or whatever cell is selected)...

I've created my dynamic named ranges using the OFFSET function, ex.
="OFFSET(SAMPLE!$D$4,1,0,COUNTA(SAMPLE!$D:$D)-1,1)"
I'm now trying to get my chart to use that range. I read at [URL] .... that I need to make sure my series reference is a fully qualified reference. So I've entered that series reference using the name of the workbook followed by the range name (=2012-PIRS.xlsx!SAM_CLAR2DEL). I have two copies of my workbook (one as xlsm with VBA project, and one with xlsx without VBA) and I can't get Excel to accept the series value in either workbook.

I need a macro that can set up some named ranges using the text in the header row and the sheet name. The header row will always be in row one, but the number of columns will be dynamic. The amount of rows in the range will need to be dynamic also. To clarify, every used cell stating in row 2 in a column will be the named range with the sheetname+text in row one of the column the actual name.
